Hey Payton great video as always. I was wondering how do you keep charging monthly fees for some services like reviews once you told your client hoq to do it?
Craig Thomas great question! I actually offer a unique review funnel that’s branded for each client with a custom link. Then I charge for support and strategy to implement into their business to get more reviews!
As a designer and not a businessman, this video was very helpful, Payton. Many thanks. Please continue to post this kind of information and resource links.
This is why I'm not charging as much as I could for my websites. I'd rather get an easier "yes" which sets up a slow, predictable drip of $150 a month. You had some extra services I didn't think of adding, which is just great!
Payton this video has many golden nuggets! I am beyond grateful for the solid information. Hope all your businesses are prosperous and highly profitable. Regard from Barcelona!
Thank you for the clarity. I have started to give monthly pricing for additional services, but when I calculated them, I felt they were too high. This makes me feel that I am being fair to my clients, and I'm not charging too much. I've never had a client have an issue with the pricing, but it's always on the front of my mind.
I'm curious of this as well. For example, SEO. How is that an ongoing monthly thing? Isn't SEO set up upon site build? What exactly is he doing monthly?
Peyton!!!! You're the "Peyton Manning" of web design man just wanted you to know. Your content is a blessing and I'm praying for healing for you in a miraculous way 🙏
This is such awesome content Payton! My question is do you transfer web projects to clients once youve completed them or do you hold on to them and charge them for the hosting ect. And if you charge them for hosting do you that through client billing and the additional services through bonsai?
Edwin Conde thanks for watching! I retain most of my client project in my Webflow account and just use client billing! I rarely up charge hosting fees through client billing tho. I just manage all additional monthly fees through hello bonsai!
Thanks!👊🏻 I offer a branded review funnel (built in Webflow) that gives my client a unique link to send via text message that requests a review! Then I just help them I plume the a process into their business of asking for reviews, sending the link and following up.
Payton, thanks a lot for your incredibly helpful videos. I have an additional question… Is SEO a viable option for international clients that I’d have on the other side of the globe? XO
Hye Payton thanks for sharing your experience!!! Can you please guide how can a beginner start on webflow? which pricing plans I have to take to sell websites to my clients and how things will work? I want to start freelancing with webflow but I am a little bit confused. Thanks in Advance.
@@PaytonClarkSmith Thanks Payton I have watched your recommended videos and they were really helpful. Could you please suggest the best way to deliver the website to clients on webflow?
Great video! I think your approach is much smarter than the typical one-time freelancing route. By the way, how do you get around the chicken and the egg problem regarding not having any SEO results yet for any client? In other words, what specifically did you do to sell and get SEO results for your initial clients? Did you write articles yourself, manually build backlinks, etc. for free for the first client?
