Apple products are not bad, but they are also not great. There are definitely better products out there. They're just not worth it, and I might be in the minority but I also don't think they look good.
Would you recommend any of these for exercise/fitness? I'm a runner in search of a mid-range priced (closed) earbud. My biggest concerns are sound quality (I'm a professional bass player) and fit. Everything else is gravy. If they sound good, will stay in my ears, and won't break the break the bank ($150 max, give or take?), that what I'm looking for.
As always I think you hit the nail on two key points. 1. People who are looking to buy wireless earbuds or headphones should be aware that there are cheaper brands, with as good a reputation as the big brands. 2. People shouldn't be afraid to trust these less popular brands. You, and reviewers like you, have opened my perspective on products and there value. A big name brand is not always the better value. Funny enough, I gifted my nephew the Tozo Openears, as he cannot stand anything inside his ears but wanted a TWS on his way back to college.
Hey man not sure that you'll even see this. I've seen recently that you've covered some planar headphones and audiophile grade headphones as well. I think you should cover the hifiman he400se. I know they're a couple years old now. However I feel you reach a different listener than your typical audiophile channel that would normally cover these phones. Which is an amazing thing giving more people access to that information! These are also an entry level into open back planar sound at $109 brand new. Definitely worth your attention!
This is super helpful! I think you are absolutely correct in that people will buy the stuff they see in stores before doing a bit of research. This just shows me that the big companies such as Apple, Bose etc need to step it up and not rely on brand name alone. I am not an Apple hater or Bose hater I have the qc45’s and an Apple phone and love them but people need to be more smart shopper imo. Great video as always!🔥
I am confused between own Bang & olufsen Beoplay H95 which cost 1000 $ or Bang & Olufsen beoplay HX which cost 480 $ Which one you advice me to take ?!
Great video as always, Keith. :) I have both the Golden X1s and the Wave Pros, both on your recommendation. The Golden X1s were my daily drivers until I got the Wave Pros. The only thing I can really ding the Golden X1s for is the finnicky wireless charging. They were great at first, but after a while, the digital readout on the earbuds were say they were at 100%, but within an hour they'd be dead. I might have just gotten a bum pair, though. The Wave Pros being as inexpensive as they are is what convinced me to get them. I've been using earbuds for decades now (whether wired or wireless) so going with full earphones was a new thing for me. I love both the noise cancelling in the Wave Pros and the sound isolation that over-the-ear earphones give you in general, so getting these for < $100 was fantastic.
I'm glad you did an episode on these different choices nice job. I've been using the Soundpeats Air 4 Pro a lot more lately because of the way they're tuned I can listen to different genres of music without feeling like I have to change the EQ all the time. Can't do that with my JBL's. Thank you Gamesky. 💯👍🇺🇸
Which is a "better" pair between the TOZO Golden X1 and the JLab Epic Lab Edition? I travel on busses quite a lot and i NEED that detailed sound separation high end sound quality. Which earbuds do you suggest i get that are under $199 ? Thank you!
Tozo golden X1 are very comfortable in the ears. They have a very good ANC and 12 mm driver+balanced armature driver & hi-res with a clear sound and much more
I have earbuds from Soundcore, that I bought after watching your video. That was four years ago. The earbuds are still running strong and at $50 a steal of a deal. My question is when should I get new ones. Obviously, I’ve gotten tremendous value from these earbuds. They work great no problems at all. is it time to get new ones?
😂 same. I have the Tranya T3s after watching his video about budget bass earbuds. Still going strong. Battery life solid along with sound. Only complaint is that i dropped it like twice and the case of both the earbuds and the actual case broke apart slightly (it's cheap, what to expect). After a little glue and it's back in working condition. Love these!!
Again: Hey there! I want to thank you for your great videos. Please, could you answer me a quick question: Would you recommend the Goovis G3X for home office?
Regarding the Jlab Epic Lab Edition earbuds, I couldn't agree more. These are some seriously great sounding buds, and the most impressive thing about these is the build quality. The case has some heft to it, and the buds themselves feel high quality. The only downside is the app. It does the basics well, but it seriously lacks in options compared to most earbuds in this price range.
I feel the same way about Moondrop. The app doesn't really change much so I don't use it, but I do enjoy my Golden Ages because of the sound; ANC and transparency are also good for the price. If I wanted a more feature rich TWS I would look at another earbud like the Soundcore 4 NC.
Thank you for your quick reply! I was looking and listening some earbuds reviews and I ended watching the new Devialet Gemini 2, Denon Perl Pro… what about this two comparing with the JLab Epic Lab Ed.? Or there is any better?

Suggesting Bose instead of Apple: don’t eat the crap salad, have a sh*t sandwich instead. While the Apple Max are overpriced, and I’m having annoying issues with mine now, they def sound better than any Bose product I have ever used with good NC. Is the Apple ecosystem integration worth the extra cash? Prob not. I would take a Sony XM 2 or 3 over Bose any day of the week.
Have you tried the Bose Ultra's? If not, you would have no idea why I would recommend them over the Airpods Max. Those are different than other Bose headphones
I've tried the AirPods Max and they are not better than Bose. The sound is not bad but it is not worth even half its price. Bose headphones in general sound much more alive than the AirPods Max. Even after customizing Eq's Sony does not outclass Bose; it comes down to preference.
Solid video bro and great recommendations!
Thanks man, really appreciate it!
This is fabulous my friend. You knocked this video out of the park. I hope you do a lot more kinds of videos like this.
Apple getting hammered. 😂
Cause they're overpriced junk
Anything is better than an Apple product. Even the counterfeit is ahead than the O.G.
Most definitely, unless you can get them on hard sale. I would never buy at full price.
as they should, and since ppl still buy them, there's nothing wrong to keep raising " awareness " on how overpriced their products are😂

Just love my Bose QuiteComfort Ultra. Unbeatable ANC and very nice sound.

Do earphones sound better than tozo golden x1?.

Have you tried the sennheiser momentum 4? And compare it to the bose qc ultra

Same here man.
Between the jlab and tozo x1 you highlighted on this video if sound quality and comfortable fit was top priority which would you recommend ?
The JLAB's would be my pick because I use those as much as any other pair that I have
Great content on earbuds and headphones 🎧
I love the books on eat this, not that magazine
If I can replace the ear cushions on my Sony Ult wear to real leather they would be perfect.
I am glad you're still making videos! Would you take the Tozo Golden over the Liberty 3 Pro's for sound quality?
Yes, I do prefer the sound of the TOZO's over the Liberty 3 Pro
Very good video! Thanks for taking the time to inform us.
Awesome format!! Love it!
Great Video!! .
What about the Beyerdynamic free byrd tws ?

I'd say just use them until you can't anymore...and then it's time to buy new ones
I got the Earfun Airs and same, great buy at $50 and still using it three years later.

What do you find is Missing in the app?
Tozo T21 earbuds have an interesting design, and they're 23 bucks. Very interesting
Hissing sound in your video. Please look into it.
I surprised he didn't compare the soundpeats air 4 with the 3rd Gen Airpods
Have you tried the qcy h3? I just bought them because I have heard great things about them.
haven't tried those yet
Thanks for sharing these options.
Hi Gamesky how Tozo Golden compare to Sp Engine 4. Keep bringing the affordable ones have not disappoint.
Earfun wave pro or Sony ULT900N. Which one is better?
ULT
Great video. Great job. Keep up the good work. Love your channel.
I enjoy these kind of comparison videos, do more!
Keith! You speak the truth! Thanks for posting this video
Great idea for a video. Also, very excellent recommendations.
Tozo vs technics az80?
Second OPUS codec enabled earbuds on the market.
Most of this video is basically just don't buy apple 😂
I went with Beats Studio Pro $179 brand new and AirPods Pro.
JLab Epic Lab Edition vs Status Between 3ANC ?
Both are great but I'd lean towards the JLAB because it has better bass
Thank you for your quick reply!
I was looking and listening some earbuds reviews and I ended watching the new Devialet Gemini 2, Denon Perl Pro… what about this two comparing with the JLab Epic Lab Ed.?

I will be getting J lab epic when on sale, yes 150 not bad, I paid 200 for air pods pro, got me excited 😊
Hear buzzing in this video
I went back and checked and I don't hear buzzing. You could hear the music in the background close to the beginning
I hear it too!! It's a low buzz
I'm getting it too.
The Tozo x1’s are amazing
But not as good sound quality as earphones.
Refrain from purchasing BOSE headphones if you reside in regions with high temperatures.
Reason?

Tozo or soundpeats for the win!!
You need to review redmi 5 pros earbuds
My first earbuds were jlab and they were straight garbage. I would never spend money on anything jlab
The tozo sound interesting
I’ll stick with my Sennheiser Momentum 4s over Bose and Apple any day! I’ve had all 3 of these cans and the Sennheiser’s beat them by a mile💯
The earbuds or the headphones

Apple headphines stylish? There some of the ugliest headphones to come out. You have to be some kind of apple simp to buy those things for $500.
