I love the last generation Panigale but this one is something else. Better ergos and the cockpit is better. It took a while for the new design to grow on me but it has and I think it's a fantastic machine.
Depends on how much you use it and in what kind of application. If you are regularly attending track days you are going to going through tires and brake pads more often, you will also need to be more frequent with oil changes and brake fluid maintenance. For the every day rider who is just riding on the weekend and occasionally to work, you can save a lot more money. But because the motorcycles in this class are pure performance machines, your consumables and repairs are going to be higher. It's like the difference between owning a Porsche versus a Toyota.
