They also changed the air filter, oil filter and oil change as i forgot to mention that. 👏🏻
I feel the same way. Without my bike my mind just isn't what it should be. I don't engage life the same.
If you're ever in the Houston area, I do it for $1,800. 2 day turn around. Mobile Ducati Service.
What your number
Love it man... a real Rider 15k in one year.. Impressive. I only own Ducatis and have/ had several through out the years. However due to the maintenance cost of several Ducatis, I got my own Mechanic/Shop that only works with European Bikes and reduced my maintenance costs 50%-60% . I would advice the same specially since you put a lot of miles on the Bike. Cheers enjoy.
Awesome man, good to see the bike back. I will be doing my 12k service in the coming weeks on mine. I am able to tackle that myself being a former tech and the engine in my bike is much more accessible and more standard to work on. Not sure I would ever try and tackle Desmos myself without fully knowing what to do.
This answered my question about this bike.
I’ll be out in Dallas and Houston in mid and late march.
I have the black on black v2
We need to meet up and ride when I’m out there!!
And completely understand needing the bike for the mental. I am drastically in the same boat w everyone there.
Beautiful bike. Good video break down of the service stuff.
Great info to know. Thank you🙏
Awesome dude I put over 15,000 miles on my Diavel V4 in less than a year. So far I am on my 3rd set of Rosso Diablos, and two oil changes. Yup it is expensive.😂 A month seems like way too long, should take about a week or less. I also installed a Termignoni Titanium Dragster exhaust myself and up mapped the bike, and modified the air intake.
Gorgeous motorcycle!! Desmo is expensive $$$ but they are thorough. ✅❤️ Looking great! 😁❤️
Thanks man.
Thanks for a great video. I noticed you changed your steering damper. Can I ask you why?
Why would it need a valve adjustment only after 15k miles?!
Incredible motorcycle, i just bought a honda vtr as my first motorcycle and lets just say i wont have to worry about service fees😂
Lol
Don’t compare a civic to a Ferrari my guy
Ordered mine today
Now it’s in my garage and my profile pic. Very happy
time to get the v4 ;)
Agreed……and it’s coming.
Vital for the mental health 💚
That's alot of mileage but bravo at least you use it and enjoy it.. I just shared this and said to my mate better than a v4 and more practical
How much is the insurance
Is that the parking lot of Lakeline mall
Could one take the bike to a local service station or garage to do the necessary tune ups and have it certified in a manner acceptable by Ducatti so that it will perform as it should and continue warranty and other perks?
I wouldn’t recommend it
2300$ with the chain and tires? or just the desmo
I wanted price? Thanks. John P.
We back
Those tires are like a cat on carpet. I burned a set up in 2200 miles on my speed triple.
Curious for you to tell me about clutch service. I have heard the V4 has a dry clutch that lasts about 3-5k miles. Does the V2 do the same?
The V2 does not have a dry clutch, and yes they burn up quickly on the V4, and the tires are not meant for miles of street riding; they are race tires.
What happened to your cylinder head cover?
I removed them
why is missing plastics?
It’s not missing plastics lol? What are you talking about ?
@@HardcityRaindrops yeah it does, the engine covers near the seat.
@@macaroane we take them off to

@@HardcityRaindrops never saw or heard about it till now 😂
Oof. Still worth it.
Hmm... although expensive, $3k for mental sanity ? DONE. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Rather pay for service fees than a shrink. Happy riding and be safe !!!
"THIS is one of the best looking motorcycles on planet Earth." Yup. Can't argue with that.
IMHO? NOT a good bike to daily drive AT ALL lol ....lol JUST for a valve adjustment basically it is the better part of $2500....lol That just SOUNDS ridiculous! I can live with so much less bike to avoid THAT lol I am also thinking 15k miles? Really needs the brakes serviced....I mean flushed and new pads. Same with suspension 15k miles? rebuild time or AT LEAST change fluid/ recharge. Yeah a chain wont last much past 15k really riding it...tires? I would be through many sets 15k ...well lets be honest to the wear bars 15 rears AT LEAST no silly stuff either ....fronts at least 10...then again I dont commute on my play bike (MT-10) its all turning no freeways etc ....So I mean JUST tires cost a fortune to keep up with I cant imagine tolerating all the maintaince cost of a Ducati ...or Ferrari etc lol too crazy! (My car is an ND Miata....very cheap maintence! ...well tires dont last for crap on that either)
Buy Japanese skip the BS services
I’d rather pay for a premium timeless piece of machinery then some sport bike 6 thousand squids like you have. 😂
This guy is a FANBOY, so when Ducati says spread'em he does. Plain looking bike 👎
@@acoruna5421the japanese brands are spreadin em for ducati too in motogp and wsbk. If you're happy with plain jane... That's fine. But some people want something they can own with pride. They want something different. You gotta pay to play. Or learn how to work on ducatis... After all it seems like it's a good paying job.

How tall are you? I’m 6’2,am I too tall for a bike like yours?
5’9
@@HardcityRaindrops is 6’2 too tall for a bike like yours?
@@fezzik_007 You have to try it out for yourself but don't be surprised that its pretty tight, especially around the knees.
I’m 6’3. I’ve never ridden a V2, but if it’s at all comparable with a 2007 CBR 600 it’s doable. Occasional leg cramps you might have to shake out, and you won’t want to do any multi day trips, but that’s not what these bikes are built for anyway.
