Yes... i don't like to autocannon feature in garpun... developer must buff it instead missiles first, if clear all missiles turn to fight ships...

In my opinion, none of them are the best. They all have their uses in different scenarios. I suggest going for garpun or SeaRAM as anti-aircraft options in the free market. For anti-aircraft purposes, you can consider choosing OSU53K or HEL.
The hybrid air defense's missile can only hit the target when it keep distance from your ship , right ?

Honestly, seeing how inefficient ballistic and missile AA are I would still rather stick with lasers, yes, maybe you'll get hit once or twice more than with garpun but you quickly neutralise incoming aircraft which are a way bigger threat as missiles are since you still got countermeasures.
All other AA (missiles, ballistic and hybrids) are just way worse at dealing with planes, and this just doesn't make up for a slightly better anti missile capability.
I agree, I use thel and Excalibur currently with rapid and it's pretty solid to keep planes off me. You can flare missles as a counter but if b21 gets on you, the hp will be 3/4 gone quick. I would rather defend vs planes as number 1 threat as well.

garpun (rate is 6/10 expect fron any aircraft and ship) for DEF missile for me (rate is 5/10) why is +50% probably survival. i play this garpun in any ---> mode game
