- Did a month update on the treehouse and it’s gross. I did downsize a lot this year but it’s still coming in really nicely. I only spent $100 or under and usually I spend a lot more than that because it’s all annuals but I did from seed this year brought back my own geraniums, and got a little creative with the creeping thyme ,
 the nest stations are just starting to come in now, but they’re so easy to plant. You don’t even need to sow them earlier. just plant the seed right in the Earth and it comes up very hardy little flower that gives me lots of joy. If you haven’t already, please subscribe hit the notification bell.

Everything looks beautiful! You, unknowingly, encouraged me to resume my porch garden. My son died suddenly last June as I was prepping my pots. I had no energy to garden so I gave my plants to my neighbor. I miss the beauty of the flowers so I now have glorious colors to greet me every morning. Thank you!

Good morning Amanda yes I did cut back, but I’m happy with it. It’ll still fill in a little bit more but last year and the year before it was just way too much work. It was keeping me housebound.🌸🌺🍃🌺🍃🌺🩷
When I was 12, Wysteria was my favorite flower, my dream was to live in a stone home with large Italian fountains, an iron fence and huge iron gate, a reflecting pool and tons of wysteria vines crawling on everything! I also wanted stables with Gypsy Vanner horses, lots of dogs, otters playing in my reflective pool, and the walkway up to my arched stone front door lined with peony, hydrangia, and rhodedendrons, I adore large purple bearded iris' too, had tons of them next to my swing set as a kid and in the early morning I could smell all the dew on them, OHHHH I know "dreamer! nothin but a dreamer" Ha! its all I got. Your treehouse looks amazing!❤🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷🌱🌳🌼🐝

What a lovely oasis! I grew some nasturtiums by seeds this year because yours looked so nice last year. Was not aware that you need to plant more for later in the season. I will do that today. Have a great day Brooke!

Your gardens are always so lovely. I wish I had a green thumb, but I can kill anything that’s potted. Here in Virginia it’s been really hot too. The past couple of days have been around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Anyway, thanks for letting me enjoy your treehouse garden.🪴 🌺🙂

Hi Brooke, I just love the Hibiscus flowers. They’re similar to those cabbage plates “Vintage Bombshell” has in her collection. I think the colour contrast would go well together. You certainly have your cosy little nook coming along nicely. Everything looks so fresh and vibrant and I’d imagine the aroma heavenly, especially with the thyme and mint plants. I recently bought three variations of lemon trees and fingers crossed (and everything else humanly possible), they all bear fruit when the time comes. I love gardening but I’m just not very good with the plants. Practice makes perfect I suppose and I need a lot of practice! Anyway, have a wonderful day lovely lady. Ciao Bella 😊

I'm so glad! Yeah, just keep the bugs off them because I bring them back in the house. I do change the soil though before I bring it in and I downsize the pot so they don’t grow much.

I don’t know in your area, but Florida in general we’ve been having dapples of it, which is nice for the garden and high humidity which also is nice for the garden we have great lakes around us in Toronto so that really helps for growing, take care my friend. It looks lovely, such a green thumb! Morning glory is an invasive weed here in Washington state lol we don't let it get into the garden or it will take over. It is pretty tho.🌱🤔
Not much as invasive here in Canada because of our frosty winters lol they say wisteria are too, but I’ve never seen them be a evasive here or people are begging for them to grow and morning glories there is that the seeds can drop and grow again and there’s ones that don’t. A lot of people are saying that the Virginia creepers very invasive too well I see it here in Canada and I think anything can get out of control if you don’t take care of it, but yeah, I’ve never seen it being invasive here. It’s funny how it’s different different parts of the world. They struggle to grow peonies in Alberta, but they grow beautiful in Ontario. It’s all the weather I guess have a beautiful day. the hook gorgeous! Those plants are really taking off. That wisteria….how lovely, oh wow. I can’t believe how fast the nasturtiums have grown. Love the swans I think they look so elegant with the different plants in them. Who would have guessed it was all done on a dime. Love the black pillows on the chaise and the fruit punch hibiscus, just so summery. Well I’m exhausted now so I gotta go but I’ll be here next time waiting. Loves Mama. The whole terrace looks and feels so lush, i wish i had your knack for growing plants. I love high contrast and used to have new guinea impatiens and potato vines together in hanging pots. I was lucky to keep them alive.

Your plants look great! Mine are not doing well so far. It's been hot and dry here, not sure if thats why. My herbs which always do well look terrible. My tomatoes are the only two plants doing well! I have to come up with something before they all die! I've never had this problem.
Well, the heat can be very stressful on them. That’s for sure. We’re in a bit of a heat wave here as well like 35 c :95 100f each day but very humid so the plants love that.🍃🌸🦋 give me water in the morning
My Nasturtium are so small. I grew them from seed and they're in full sun. I have a tree house garden like yours. My Zinnias are really popping off though

Brooke, like everyone else I love your garden. I am curious how you take care of your million bells to get more blooms, such as pinching off, cutting back, etc.? Yours are so full of beautiful blooms. I want mine to bloom longer and fuller. This is only the second year I've grown them. Thanks for the hard work filming and editing. It's very hot and humid here too in Southern Indiana.
No, I don’t pinch them back at all. That’s what I love about them. They fall off when the wind comes up, which hasn’t been very often but I really don’t do anything but water them. They do like a lot of water so I do it twice a day in the morning and late afternoon potato vine too they’re very thirsty plants, I give them banana water chickpea water the other day I gave a bunch of spinach water cause I was making Spanish pita …I just do things like that but they do fine on their own🍃🌸🌺🍃🌺🍃🌺🍃🌸🌸

Your garden is looking good. Must be the banana water.
Must be I just did a bunch of banana bread and I got seven bananas skins soaking. I love being all natural. Everybody else is all chemicals. Just goes to show. You don’t need chemicals to grow a garden. You just need lots of love banana skin, chickpea water, spinach water and all that jazz . Oh and perfect Ontario weather to helps a lot. We’ve had such high humidity the plants love it , I know Alberta’s been cold. Up until this weekend enjoy it while you can.
I agree with you about the weather in Toronto and Ontario when I visited there the flowers were a show stopper the wow effect they were absolutely gorgeous.
Yeah, my sister is really struggling because she had beautiful gardens for 40 years in BC and now she’s like I can’t even grow anything and she has to have a greenhouse for most of her vegetables like her tomatoes and that they’d never get started total different game. I think the humidity here and you know we have really hot summers really help.

Well, let me tell you it was my first winter last year and mines not in the ground. Mines in a pot so little even more difficult. I baby did all winter. I wrapped it with foam and then a car shield thing. I’ll show it in the fall, but it would do much better if it was in the ground, but I don’t have a sunny spot in the front. now I it’s a small plant. I only got five flowers, but everyone said it wouldn’t flower for five years and it would never make it through the winter. Well there you go the gentleman I bought it off. said it would never make it in a pot. just got to Sherry went a little bit of love will do lol

I don’t use any fertilizers I use banana water, chickpea, water, spinach water whatever I have left over from the kitchen vegetable wise

I planted morning glory seed but they aren’t growing as fast as yours. How often do you water potted plants outdoors?
I watered them every day because they’re in smaller pots. The ones at the side of the house every other day they like a lot of sun so if you have a sunny spot, it does help the ones upstairs upstairs the ones downstairs.
