y'know, re-watching this after watching the season finale sorta makes it clear that the writers originally intended to have this admiral be in charge of the multi-dimensional exploration missions instead of Admiral Freeman, but went the other way due to it being the last season.
Yes, and I think it's Apocalypsy Now to be exact, with the temples in the tropical area, sunset and the protagonist encountering the main "antagonist" sitting in the dark
While I know the pain of being ghosted, I agree that what Mariner went through sucked way harder. Still, I commend her for apologizing since, in her position, I doubt I would have.
@@Igarappappa Funny that Jennifer accused Mariner of not allowing her to apologize, when, if you go back to the season finale, we don't see Jennifer actually make an effort to do so. Mariner seems to have a habit of taking almost TOO much responsibility for when she's somewhat in the wrong, but the other person is FAR MORE wrong. She did something similar with her mom in that same episode.
At the start of the episode Jennifer acted like if she never really broke up her relationship with Mariner back in Season 3 episode nine in the frist place since Jennifer was the one who broke up her realtionship/friendship with Mariner after the misunderstand incident were Mariner had an unauthorized interview with Victoria Nuzé. At first I thought that the reason why Jennifer acted like nothing really had happen between her and Mariner because deep down she must still feeling guilty for wrongly accuse Mariner for something that she didn't do for once until later it was revealed that Jennifer only trying to force Mariner to talk about their breakup.
I don't know if Ransom is telling the truth but I can believe it sense he has seen how good boinler is on the other hand I don't believe Phillips is telling the truth the two barely know each other
Yeah the past 4 seasons we have seen Ransom actually see and congratulate Boimler on things he did. He can see the potential Boimler has and sort of become his mentor in a way.
With all due respect, I must politely disagree with that statement. Ever since the show began, it was clear to everyone that Jennifer was not a good person. She may have had her good moments, but the moment Mariner needed her when that reporter came aboard, Jennifer abandoned her like everyone else. As far as I am concerned, Jennifer and Mariner as a couple didn't work for me.
I am liking T'lyn more and more with every episode.
Best Vulcan since T'pol

I like how Billops was backing up Ransom’s inspiring words with facts!
T'Lyn is going to do a Greg Universe
This is the best adaptation of A Heart of Darkness yet.

Fun fact: ST: Insurrection was origibally going to be inspired by A Heart of Darkness.
T'lyn for some reason is possibly the best representation of spock i have ever seen.
BY THE POWER OF FANGIRL VIBING!!!
Mariner wasn't T-H-A-T in the wrong, even if to SOME extent she still was, but she still found it in her to apologize.

"I am a big fan of your work"
I mean, he's more so addressing her species than her specifically, right?
He meant the music.
Boiler is growing a riker

Tell me fair with her even she admits that was a stupid plan

@@MatthewJamesKalaskyYeah, but I can understand the mixup.
Anyone watch this scene and wish T'lyn had played the TOS theme instead?
KISS HER, YOU FOOL!!! ❤️💙

They were both messed up people. Great for each. So they won't spread to others.😅
Why a 20 sided die?
Cause funny enough the animation company on Legend of Vox Machina also animates for Lower Decks
Clearly you rolled a 1 on the perception check :P
Y'all may call me crazy, but I think that mariner and boiler should date.
Nah they have more of that brother/sister vibe
@@captaintalon4485 Yea I don't want them as a pair. But whomever they do end up with had better accept their friendship.
Crazy ☝️
