The interviewer was prepared and threw questions with substance and Catriona answered it with substance. The woman is a walking brain. You dont see that a lot around.

I may have say , Australia did a big help on her as well as human being when she grown up. She adopt the culture and traits of Australian who are very open. I just loved how Miss Universe Organization do a series of interviews through each delegate.. You can see how they choose is a very relevant person .. You can see and hear from each question how substantial, relatable and well spoken the new Miss Universe is. It's a very exciting pageantry of wits and looks. It's all about how well rounded a modern woman should be.. How a modern woman would pursue throughout her life and the one who would represent us women globally each year. This is the weight of a Miss Universe should be.

Gotta say this has to be the best interview thus far during her Media Week! She's so real, and very "human" - no pretentions, you can tell. It's commendable how she acknowledges being multi faceted person, and her diverse background and upbringing (being Half-Pinoy, Half-Aussie growing up in PH and AUS, studying in US, etc.). It's a breathe of fresh air on how she got into the world of pageantry - through her advocacy first! Oftentimes, it's the other way. Her sincerity, character, substance, personality, compassion, intellect, and beauty just shines. I hope more people learn from this type of influential figure in this day and age - embracing who you are personally and culturally. Also, you can tell by the way she speaks, the merge of her Filipino and Australian influences (accent, slangs, etc.). There's nothing wrong with it. Well deserved recognition for her amazing work. They were only colonized by the UK but the native people in Australia and New Zealand are more of Brown skin people not White. Same as with the Americans. Native Americans are not blondes? U cannot help but fall in love with her. Ther persona is fresh. She also is very eloquent. She can answer potitically correct. She just easy on the eyes, ears, and soul. Natural. Personable, down to earth, unthreatening. The vibes just so pleasant, positive. Just amazing. One of a kind. She is her own person

At some point, I had tears rolling down my eyes...Such eloquence, perfection, infinite knowledge, the thought to help others and so on...She has done THAT MUCH !!! I am also in favor of socialism for the Philippines... Problem is the oligarchy in our country wants to keep the high economic gap and monopolized industries while the rest of the masses suffer. Majority of Filipinos do not understand Socialism that is why I am highly support Cat's advocacy of education which would enable Filipinos learn, understand and tackle the problem head on by getting rid of the factors that supress our progress.

She is mu materials indeed, eloquent, well-spoken, beauty, advocacy, purposes, intelligent, stage presence, inspiring, humble, empowering, and etc. So many require materials to be MU. If anyone ask me who is my fav and the best MU, then I go to Catriona for sure even I am Thai.
Catriona is well-spoken its unbelievable. Truly the Best Miss Universe. I really hope people see her talent and beauty beyond MU and open many doors for her.
I just loved how Miss Universe Organization do a series of interviews through each delegate.. You can see how they chose a very relevant person .. You can see and hear from each question how substantial, relatable and well spoken the new Miss Universe is. It's a very exciting pageantry of wits and looks. It's all about how well rounded a modern woman should be.. How a modern woman would pursue throughout her life and the one who would represent us women globally each year. This is the weight of a Miss Universe should be.
Her winning the crown is not just victory for her country but also for MUO and for the children of Tondo. Everybody wins!

I’ve seen this interview a few times and I never tire of looking at Catriona’s amazing beauty and hearing her great speaking voice. And that radiant personality to die for!
A very good interview. Catriona answered them all with flying colors and with genuine sincerity. Big factor in winning the pageant her eloquence.
What I like about her is that she's so natural. It's so true that people wants to change you from head to toe and so the advice she gave to that lady is very remarkable.
to be honest no one beauty queen in a different pageant winner can beat or can compare to catriona interms of speaking skills.
Just by watching her makes you proud even more. She's the best Miss Universe we ever had!

Catriona really initiated of educating people about how pageantry can impact lives in different aspects. She made everyone in the industry learn that it can be used in such an important role specially in helping people and children.
No one did that in the history but Catriona.
Ps. I might be wrong but I am sure she's the only one who speaks a lot not just for glamour but also for platforms.

ONLY PURE BLOOD FILIPINA BORN OUT FROM BOTH FILIPINO CITIZEN PARENTS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT THE COUNTRY IN INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY PAGEANT.

Even if it's only one Filipino parent that a girl has and the other is a foreigner, that would still make the lady a Filipino and will automatically be eligible for dual citizenship. Why look for a pure Filipino if that girl is not into pageantry? The search for the next Miss Philippines in every year always gives a chance to all girls whether they're half Filipino or full blooded. It's just a matter of who should win! Unfortunately, in Catriona's batch, none of her competitors outperformed her.
