It’s subconscious really for multi/ bilingual people i think.
Many people think it's "fake" but to be honest, it just naturally happens because multi/bilingual people tend to think that changing our accent depending on the situation will help the person listening to feel more comfortable.
As a Filipino I was taught how to speak English at a very young age in a strict private school but they eventually transferred me to a publicly school, even after that I still kept speaking English to maintain my fluency in English and later on I started to develop a natural American accent. I didn't speak with my natural accent to my classmates (when I transferred to a public school, my classmates were not fluent in English so I felt like I didn't really fit in because I was so used to speaking English to my classmates :( )or anyone else other than my family because I'd feel uncomfortable and I thought they'd feel uncomfortable with it too or judge me so I'd rather use my Filipino accent :)

More than her pretty face and everything beautiful about her. I saw how she fuels herself by the pain and hardship to achieving where she's at right now. From sacrificing her life for the uplifting of poor children in tondo to losing her boyfriend. 😢 Pain for not being called even after doing you best, closing doors infront of her face etc etc. I wiss i can give her a hug not that she needed it becuase i know she has a lot of supports and love right now but to say thank you for being brave for our country.
