- Out with my friend Sam in the Lake District, his first time up Scafell Pike so was good to spend the day amongst some of Englands highest mountains. We had time for a quick dip before hiking up Green Gable where we witnessed an epic sun set and spent the night.

Katadyn BeFree 0.6 L or 1L Walter Filtration System. Brilliant. Filters fast. Lanshan brilliant. Did my first camp in it last week. I was aiming for Great End as I told you earlier but ended up on Allen Crags as I was carrying too much weight in bag hence my interest in the one u are using. Didn’t sleep though cos of cramp!
Wow that’s too much hiking for one day. I really enjoyed the soundtrack with the amazing views again as usual. Renaissance man Liam. Even though you ate pot noodles this trip, we know you can cook too

You've got to be one of the funniest (funny ha ha not funny weird) wild campers I've seen for a while on youtube, love the accent, apparently my accent is very similar to yours but I think it's just a case of I say things the same way as you i.e. "I gerrup in a mornin, gu fer a waz n gerra brew on", you did make me laugh at 21:14 when you were on about having some noodles that you'd bought cos you were trying to keep the weight down "not my weight the weight of the pack", nearly spit me tea out, great hike, great video, great weather and very informative, looks like you had a fantastic time all the best mate keep it up & keep us smiling.

Subscribed and just watched your review on the Lanshan 1 Pro, checked out the price and at £107 delivered whats not to like so took the plunge, hoping to do a few days here and there over October - November give it a go in the peak district (my local National park) & see how it fairs.

I'm from the town of Ilkeston in Derbyshire, hence the Peak District being my local national park (about 18-20 miles away), got delivery from nightcat today only to find they sent me one of their hammock tents by mistake, I was hoping to have a go in the Lanshan next week, I can't see the replacement getting here by then, hey ho, these things are sent to try us.

Another good one Liam, thanks for taking us with you. I use the Evernew 2 litre water bottle now because it seems to fold flatter and its clear when you first use them but darkens up depending on how much Kinder Ale you push through it.

I've been using the 2L CNOC bags as my dirty water bags, Liam, and love them. They just released a new design which is slightly thicker than the originals and is super sturdy.

Some good mileage you've done there, top effort👍🏻.....as for the best ever tent though....ya wrong😜🤣.....walking pole style, I'm voting for the Durston x mid 2 solid, poled tent wise, I'm voting for the msr elixir with my walking pole modification (video on my channel 😉)....though the lanshan is probably best value for money 👍🏻
Would love to try a Durston X Mid out… maybe 1 day i’ll have to pull the trigger on a more premium trekking pole tent. Just can’t beat the Lanshan for value for money. 😅 thanks for watching mate!

Yeah Taylor force gill is the 1 closer to Styhead tarn and the 1 me and my friend went down is Sour Milk Ghyll.. i’ve been down and up both and not exactly easy so can’t imagine it was easy helping somebody down there, fair play mate!

Yeah think i’ve seen Messner using 1 of those platypus things before.. I ended up buying another Sawyer bag but bought the wrong size so its tiny, takes forever 🤣 you’l be fine mate, get there as early as possible then we can take our time 👍🏼
