Not only wonderful views but great entertainment too. I used today to my kids that the sky could give you the best shows ever and, best of all, it’s free
That music for the sunrise And the sunrise were spectacular!!! 21:00 I could listen to that for hours! And, You make all the music and sound in your videos!?!? Brilliant!
Yeah, you had me butt cheeks clamped up tight on your ascent in the last video. Crazy stuff! It’s so nice watching you grow your channel and building your skills. You are a “Good Bloke.”
Another great video Liam, well done lad. Sounds like you have hit that level of fitness and endurance plus your recovery is where it helps you appreciate and enjoy the mountains even better than when you first started which brings more all round confidence especially now that you have nailed the navigation side of things too. All that carrying a heavier pack over the past year has given you a good base level of fitness so now that you are making lighter kit choices it's all going to feel easier from here on. Its only this last 12 months that i have put a lot of effort into getting my pack weight down after decades of thinking 22 kg was light since i left the Army and now i am hovering around the 7 to 8 kg mark in complete comfort . The fact that i have had to ditch my bird and sell a few organs to afford it all has been well worth it :) ( Only joking about the organs )
I prefer doing solo vice camping with a group of peeps some of which I dont really know ie friends of friends. Prefer to keep the camping thing personalized. Great vid.
Another great video mate 👍 solo or not... Both have good points, but solo shows strength, courage and confidence 💪 and alone does not mean lonely 💪well done Liam 👏 take care and God bless you mate 🙏🙏
I camped at that same spot last winter in the snow, it was epic, incredible views from great gable. I also had a near disaster in the Langdales earlier this year when I put my rucksack down and went for a bit of a mooch around off the path and then the clag came in and I couldn’t find my way back to where I’d set it down. Was going round in circles for over an hour trying to find it and was losing the light. Finally found it just in time to my great relief
I actually camp quite often! Camping alone is pretty peaceful and can calm me after a stressful week. I prefer camping alone and it’s less expensive sooo.
My old buddy Buster Scruggs asked me the other day, " how does #good bloke outdoors climb such steep hills and yet still maintain such a fresh demeanour? My humble answer was "I have no honest idea how bloke does it , pilgrim"..😊😂
Brilliant once again! Only my second video of yours to watch, so happy that I have lots more to see ! Keep it up and hope to meet you in the hills one day!
Great pitch 👍, I recently pitched on green gable and the views were awesome, sour milk myself coming down and was a great shortcut if taken steady, can’t beat a good pot noodle 😂, take care mate
Fantastic views from Green Gable, pitched on there recently and got lucky with an epic sun set. Yes I had to go down sour milk gill in the dark once when it was icy! Tent shit itself on Green Gable so had to bail.
Another Awesome video Liam mate. I need to Get back Out Wild Camping, But Been sooo Lazy! Was Looking at the LANSHAN 2 , might Go with the The Hexpeak V4a instead!.
Another cracker 👍.I do all my hikes and camps solo I love the freedom it gives me I can stop when and where I like but your right sort your nav and gear then it's great
Excellent camera work dude the views sadly i failed great gable. Hiked from ennerdale bothy. I got nearly to the top. Limped back to the bothy cream krackered.😅
Awesome camp 👌🏻. Ive gotta say, i prefer the adventure foods meals to the summit to eat ones, and even to some of the firepot ones...the posh pork and beans is absolutely hanging 🤢
@@mack2432 I've not noticed that tbh, I'll check next time I'm in go outdoors and compare the ingredients. The pork in the posh pork and beans firepot meal looks like those dried pigs ears you give dogs to chew on lol 🤮
@@justanomadicguy yeah mate this will be my main rucksack until the colder months start arriving and I need to take the heavier winter gear then i’ll be back to the Berghaus 👍🏼
Hi thanks for watching, yeah really good so far, if you have not watched my Lords Rake hike from a couple vids ago, check it out, very steep and loose and I wore the nikes👍🏼
I am always a bit paranoid of filtering water where I can't see where it's coming from, is the general rule that you avoid streams that run through farmland, and no dead animals, then you are good to go? In Scotland I am quite happy drinking straight out of the rock if it's looks okay but I am a bit anxious about filtering water right out of a loch where it's basically stagnant water. What are your thoughts?
Yeah i prefer to go for the fast flower water , higher up the better really, I have drunk out of the tarns / lochs before and never had any issues thankfully.
Thanks for watching everyone !

@@GoodBlokeOutdoors hi Liam, plan the Wicklow mountains here at my backdoor in Kildare town Ireland.

Thanks dude, and go for it again mate! Start from Seathwaite.
Awesome camp 👌🏻. Ive gotta say, i prefer the adventure foods meals to the summit to eat ones, and even to some of the firepot ones...the posh pork and beans is absolutely hanging 🤢
the only issues with adventure foods is that they have preservatives in them ! depending on the meal you have 2 or 3 E-s in the ingredients !
Thanks mate, i’ve only tried the Bbq Pulled Pork firepot so far.

Great vid Liam. Do you have bad knees or just being careful? Are those supports you're wearing any good?
Yeah if i’m on a multi-day my knees start playing up but these certainly help 👍🏼
My knees are not what they used to be that's for sure. Can I ask which supports you are using as I think i'll give them a go!
Does the Lake District have midges in the summer like the Scottish highlands ? Great video ❤
When you gonna do Ben Nevis in the Lanshan to make it a three peak tent? 😉
Might of already been done mate 😉
Hi, liking your videos. Not sure if I have missed this but what's your lightweight rucksack you are using?
Thanks for watching its the 3FULGEAR quidian pro, really decent rucksack for the money!
