Cant connect with the app to the katama with bluetooth.. however it worked to play sound/bluetooth connection but not with the app. I tried to dissociated, start all over again but nothing. Anyone has a solution?
Two things i really hate about the app. If you have a liveset and want to tweak a particular tone, you cant save back to the same tone on the live set. Instead, you have to save to a channel on your panel then copy it to the live set again which is pretty dumb. Secondly, tone central is so limited. Boss should have allowed users to upload to tone central for everyone to share and let the community drive that section. It will be more interesting that way.
Thanks for the helpful tutorial. One thing that confuses me with the app is how the Effects tab works. Say we take the BST/Mod knob as an example. Are we actually able to dial in a boost "and" mod effect together with that knob or is it a boost "or" Mod effect only? If it allows both effects to be active together then how do I set each effect separately just using the one knob? Also say I am using the boost effect how do I actually know what boost parameter the boost effect knob is actually controlling? Same with all the effects. They never explain what the knob actually controls as you increase its level. This effect section of the app is implemented by Boss the same way in both their Katana amps and Air devices and it is so confusing how this works. Another strange thing is they let you have different effects when you switch between the 3 colours but when you switch between colours and adjust the effect parameters you cant save them to that colour. It would make so much more sense to be able to create and store 3 different effects in each patch that could be switched by changing the colour. That would mean 3 different boost settings per preset and a great way to dial in and store a variety of gain tones within the one patch. It seems so strange why they didn't allow this in any of their Waza or Air products.
everytime i try to download a patch on the app it says the file is not supported on Katana Air when its literally labelled as a Katana Air file can you please help

Do you have to update firm ware for katana air? If so how?
Does the app have a feature which allows you to browse and download tones from Boss Tone Exchange?
