@@GeneralSam The death height on fall is 100% consistent area to area. Some areas have death planes but that was not one. The fall just killed you, I think the health bar did an oopsie.

Fun fact: Dueling shields are a historical thing. Extra fun fact: They were deliberately designed to be awkward and unintuitive because they were invented for judicial duels. Judicial duels were supposed to represent a form of divine judgement rather than being decided by how good of a fighter they were, therefore they often used odd weapons that neither combattant would be experienced with, sometimes even going so far as giving one of the belligerents a handycap when it was determined that he was at too much of an advantage otherwise (as an example, they had specific formats for duels between men and women, where the men had to stand inside a hole for the fight).
@ManWithAMask_ Not sure if strangling was allowed per the rules. In any case, it's not like this was a grappling contest, both were armed. Congratz, you beat the dlc!
Might aswell play a point and click adventure at this point 😂
This conversation will never end. The freedom Souls games give you is cool but it also kinda ruins what the games are about. Difficult challenge that requires wits and reflexes turned into mindless spam due to a handful of broken mechanics
@@famulanrevengeance3044 I get this is basically about whining how to play the game, but Impenetrable thorns is a bit overtuned. Also I will not lie on the fact that if he was able to first try Radahn I would've been malding lol 😭
@@famulanrevengeance3044 I feel like they should turn summons and spirit ashes into a "help mechanic", meaning that you do 10/15 tries on a boss ALONE then it unlocks the possibility to use them if you want to use them. In this way you'll appreciate the movesets etc... and you might keep trying alone if you feel like you have a chance, if you can't be bothered just use summons and ashes and you're good to go. When it comes to stuff like impenetrable thorns, I feel like it's just a bugged Incantation tbh, still, they haven't fixed it so I guess they either didn't notice or they don't care enough to tweak it, who knows
@@famulanrevengeance3044also, at the end of the day, people can play however they want, but still, I find it funny to spend 40 bucks on a dlc just to click 2 buttons and go from a boss to another. Like, there's no skill, no improving, no brain usage, it's just, as you said, mindless spam. I don't understand how this can be fun when you know you are not doing anything impressive while, at the same time, the fights don't even look or feel cool. There is nothing that I would define as "fun" in this way of playing. Maybe people just do it so that they can say that "they beat the dlc/this very hard boss", I really don't know. In the end, I'm complaining way too much, let them play however they want (but I'll never stop being pissed when I see people screaming "LOOK HOW EASY THIS WAS", after they killed a boss by using stuff that is borderline cheating/insane broken builds).
@@aletir6111 I think it's because of the community outlook on Dark Souls. It has been touted as 'super duper hard game no handholding' for decades now. And because of that, people want to beat it and will do anything in their power to beat it. And the excuse is 'game hard, therefore I use everything in the game'
I absolutely love that the editing for Radahn went from 201 deaths to 387 lol
'it isn't hard, i just had to change my build to beat it!'
that's the problem
Yo Sam your kitchen is looking like a set of an 80s sitcom and I love 80s sitcoms
Sam's kitchen looks like it costs more than my whole house. Don't forget those skyrim videos got you there sammy.
That 18k per hit Moonveil build is actually legit af, everything dies in one hit and youll get nearly inf mana with that talisman that gives mana on kills
What's hillarious is that there is actually Curtain lore that Vaddi and other loretubers have covered it. It's related to the Hornsent's obsession with Spirals and how they incorporated the design into everything they built, including curtains across Belaraut Tower Settlement and Enir-Ilim
Sam’s haircut looks like he’s about to invade Poland
