I got heavily back into Skate. & Skate 3 the past 4 years, and got back on a board last year. The feelings I get from this sport is so good, a true healthy creative outlet. Nothing hits deeper to me than skating or graffiti, thanks THUG2.

The editing style of skate and snowboard videos is what first got me into the idea of filming, that and the ability to follow someone with a camera but not do the tricks cuz I’m scared of eating shit. It’s really cool to see this bro.
That flick to Ollie the thumb stick changed every skateboarding video game. I literally did that Ollie one time in that game when I was like 12 and never touched tony hawk again
@@username1660 Yeah I've never got on with Tony Hawk because the controls are so unintuitive. You're not learning tricks unless you study a strategy guide or a wikipedia page. The controls in skate make complete sense. If you know how to ollie, shove, and flip the board you can do any trick you want by just combining those movements in different ways. It's not even close.
Skate 3 montages is how I actually found your channel originally funny enough. A year ago I tried to find all the hella cool montages but noooo Sam schooled me and made all of them private. Thanks for this upload though, definitely a blast to the past man.

This video is straight heat. I revisited skate 3 last year because of game pass. I started out with Tarkov Sam and included in my happy meal was Skate Sam and I’m here for it.
Always rlly appreciated that Sam started on skate. I’ve played skate more than I’ve played anything ever I’ve spent so many hours in it I love it and this video fucks hard

Skate 2 had the best map not only because of iconic locations, but because it was one big map. Seamless travel from cougar mountain all the way into downtown. It was perfect.
Sam you gotta pull out the Superman Jump next time you play. Ollie into a superman up onto a ledge or box or whatever that's at a certain height and you will jump up off of the ledge/box/whatever and you can pull sick ass tricks mid air, use it to reach higher locations than you normally would be able to in a combo, and just normally freak out your friends with the Superman Jump. Park and Play's concrete barriers around the outer edges of the different floors make a great training spot. You can launch over the big open area in the center at some spots and even over it from the top floor into a lower floor with a landing ramp to absorb some impact. Coolest shit in the game.
i don't agree but i see where you're coming from. i just feel like, as long as they put a ton of cosmetics, just like in Skate 3, then add microtransaction cosmetics, i don't see how it would be bad for anyone. its optional and it helps the game keep a larger player base, ex; fortnite, (kinda) warzone/cod, WOW, valorant, etc... indie games are important, and also great in most circumstances, but most people that can buy a skin in a game, can also buy an indie game, if you catch my drift. Also, to add on, most higher priced skins are bundles, or rarer skins in some games, ones that only go in the shop once for a particular reason. totally see where you're coming from though.
@@ColtinCrawls If they have a ton of unlockables that's kickass. But EA is notorious for stripping features from sequels to them sell them as DLC. Look at the Sims as an example of that. And then games like Overwatch 1 it cost 12k to unlock all the skins as a new player. Obviously almost no one would be insane enough to do that. But the fact a company is selling skins in a game that total up to a car is absurd. It's not even about affording it, it's the fact companies are charging so much for stuff that isn't worth the price. I want Skate 4 to be amazing, I love Skate 3. In relation to your fries before boiger conversation, authentic anecdote incoming My middle school band teacher once described not nailing the ending of a piece something like this(like 20 years between then and now); It's like finishing a meal at burger king or mcdonalds and you're taking your last bites. Dip your fries in the ketchup, last bite of the burger, and you go to wash it down and you find a dead rat at the bottom of your cup. This prompted a conversation in which he confirmed he finished burgers and fries *simultaneously*.
