Enjoying the content and this is a great overview, Ben. Ironic that this is the subject of your 2nd video upload, as I had recently just sold mine (maybe the universe is telling me something!). I actually did find I was getting a bit too much attention wearing it, as it is a stunner, and wanted to go more low-key with full steel versatility. So, fortunately, was able to pick-up the Sub no-date and Exp 1 40mm from my AD to add into the collection during the following months. Still, I do reminisce about the Rootbeer and there is certainly something quite special about it!
Found you from insta. Woohoo! Nice info. I’d like to know more about how Rolex does the gold in the watches. Specifically, the bracelet. Is it just gold plating? Will it scratch off? Sorry new to the game and don’t know some basic stuff on the big brands. I’d also love to see a video on the Air-King… that’s my low key goal watch now. Course I’ve not looked through your videos yet and you might have already. Hahahha again great info!
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the AMZWATCH we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
Looks like it’s very retailer dependent. I was offered a Root Beer by my AD out of the blue, when I was actually on the wait list for a Batman. I took the opportunity to view it and was immediately smitten and parted with my ££££ without hesitation. It is simply stunning.
@@greenrush4313it’s not a complain it’s constructive criticism. You strike me as the type to get upset when your parents tell you to clean your room. Grow up buddy, learn to take criticism, or go punch a wall 🤣
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but the root beer has been around for quite some time. it’s a watch that does not age well because of the oyster bracelet. It starts looking dull and it scratches very easily. The new GRNR is new and a first for Rolex. It has a sparkle that oozes classy and the jubilee bracelet not only makes the watch comfortable to wear, but makes the watch stand out. I suspect Rolex will also do the root beer with a jubilee bracelet. When that happens everyone will be chasing it
The 1991 era GMT RootBeer with the sunburst dial is a master piece.
Nice video, exact same thoughts and pulled my trigger few days ago
You need to back away from the mic or get a breath guard or something.
F U Nobody!says shit like this to Benny Ben Bens. You say sorry right now!!!!!!!!!!!
Except the Meteorite I think Root beer is the best GMT.

Gorgeous practical everyday watch, the glint of light from the rose gold sets it apart as a Fall and Summer stunner. 👍🤙💪
Ok, first of all… love this. Really enjoying this new format. And those numbers are gonna fly real soon 👍🏼 Second, pop shield 👍🏼 Keep em coming
So it is possible to get one at retail right now?
No

Older models had hollow links, current ones are solid. None are plated.
Would you prefer the Root Beer over your 58 GMT?
Keep all your gmt especially Batman’s Pepsi
This isn’t the case in Florida nor Utah.

I went to a Rolex store and they said this watch would take three years to get. Doesn’t seem easy to attain

Why talk about the nipple dial and then include a shot of a regular dial instead of said nipple dial?😵💫
