Alonzo is a fantabulous guest! Seen his act several times and being a rider for 40+ years and 300k miles with almost as many bikes as Alonso...I love hearing his stories - his knowledge of bikes is obvious. I was listening to the podcast, but after a few minutes, I needed to watch on TH-cam. Nice work Matt.
We need Alonzo back on the show!! I don’t know ANYTHING about motorcycles but I can watch Alonzo talk about this stuff for HOURS and not get bored at all.
Alonzo finding out Matt and Zack are the same age was hilarious.
Matt smoked cigarettes for years. That alone will make you look a little older. But considering that he still looks great for his age.
Grey facial hair doesn’t help either haha
And the comment at the end? Matt looked like “ok, that’s enough of that”
I don’t know the first thing about motorcycles but I could listen/watch Alonzo talk about motorcycles all day and not get bored.👍🏾👍🏾

1:15:18 after listening thru this part I paused the podcast to tell my girlfriend I love her. She's never complained about riding pillian on my suzuki, even tho she gets off with jello legs and a slow-cooked right foot. Bless her heart, I think I got lucky. I'm trying to find something like a classic CB500, of course I'll commute on it from time to time but mostly I want her to have something to ride when we feel like going out on 2 wheels together

This was excellent, great to hear for the love of the motorcycle. And his attitude with cars is so typical of bike guys. Once you ride, might as well travel in comfort in a car, coz you'll be getting there the same time as the guy in the lambo.

I had a Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo. When they were released they were the fastest standing quarter mile motorbike available. Mine was a absolute rocket in a straight line.

The Honda Navi reminds me of the old Gilera DNA from the late 90s/early 00s. Motorcycle layout but scooter drivetrain. There's a guy near me who tools about on one. I always thought they were a much cooler alternative for beginners to the usual step-through scooter.

Vendors make SO MUCH money at Strugis... my dad is one and spends 6 weeks there each year and makes a mint. Location is key and he is right at the entrance of the Harley dealer, but hey, you gotta pay to make the cash.
What type of vendor is he ?
BTW You don't need to splash on old HP2 Megamoto when you can buy a KTM SuperDuke 1390... Even 890 is better.

i'll freely admit that if it wasnt for how paranoid i am about safety i would absolutely be the type to do the helmet with the bikini top and daisy dukes on the gixxer a la socal superbike squids... the rosalia saoko video is a seminal work of art for me and my kind. i wish so bad there was a way to bare cheeks to the wind but not the tarmac. transparent kevlar????
