The first time I heard Dimash, I was thinking "that's very smooth" and "what a nice voice". Then I started humming some of the notes that came out of him so easily and realized that he was a tenor, no a high tenor, no also a baritone and so smoothly and easily. Then wait, those notes are too high, but so smooth and clean they sound easier than they are. And a mix of textures - light and breathy, full and dark, and 2 or 3 shades in between, completely on command. So I took stock for a moment and realized it wasn't supposed to be possible. At all. Ever. And I had already heard most of Mitch Grassi's work in Pentatonix, which is really of amazing. And Dimash wasn't even at the really high part yet, which came next. "Wow, he just pulled off that really high note", thinking that was his limit. Then he did the big run up and controlled arpeggios down, like Mariah Carey. It's a voice you hear once a century. Then the question came up as to how he has even had time to train that fully. I knew that was going to be one hell of a story and it was. I could have missed it, but luckily I haven't. Just gotta get to a live show now.
The lyrics in English would have make you cry. This is the most extreme love rendition a man can do. There are versions with subtitles. Look for Love is Like a Dream (English Subs) Just for your own enjoyment, you MUST hear it again. Take care. ❤️🙏☮️

Two of my favorite songs before I ever heard DIMASH sing them were SOS (French) and Love is Like a Dream (Russian). SOS for over 30 years and Love is Like A Dream for around 25 years. This song was a signature song of Alla Pugachova a great DIVA of Russian music; here DIMASH is saluting her is a special presentation. After DIMASH does a song, he takes it to another level; and after this performance no Russian singers want to perform it anymore as well, who can beat this performance.
