This song was written by Igor Krutoy in 1994. It was sung originally by Alla Pugacheva and subsequently by Lara Fabian and now Dimash. This is one of my favorties, beautifully arranged to suit Dimash. Thank you for reacting to it.
I have just found Dimash, so I am in a state of shock. I am a 70 yr old English woman and I have never experienced anything like him. My vocabulary does not help me when describing Dimash, I listened to the Japanese version of Ikanaide all night and I wept and smiled and and my whole day was filled with his voice. I had to stop myself from listening to him all day, although I did not try very hard ! A performer who truly deserves the adulation he recieves. The level that he has worked so hard to acheive, every single breath and note a lifetime of dedication. I am unworthy !!
I ama 73-year-old American woman who discovered Dimash seven years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to him. Ikanaide brings me to tears every time I hear it. I have always loved music, and never heard anything like him before. When I listened to SOS Singer 2017 the first time, I went crazy because there was no identification on the post I searched for him for weeks and finally found some things. I'll be 74 when I attend his concert in Budapest, my first live concert of his. I feel very grateful that I'm able to attend and listen to him live. To have heard him at all in this life is a blessing, as you have expressed. ❤
I am 70 years old and from Austria. I heard about Dimash half a year ago and my first song was SOS. Since then I listen every day to his songs, they bring so much joy into my life. I really love every song, I'm so grateful that he has stepped into my life.
This performance of Dimash was the first one I saw, and yeah it got me mad too. I wasn't ready for my perception of reality to change, but a couple of songs more & I had no choice, thankfully ❤️ The affection & respect Igor & Dimash have for each other on & off stage is a thing of beauty. The way you see them listening for each other during performance is so captivating. I never can stand when people mistake Igor for the 'piano guy' bc clearly they are a duo. He always is very protective of Dimash when they are doing press or talkshows & with fans, and he takes great delight in his backstage jokes & goofyness! He definitely is like a second dad. He has said that when they met he immediately was impressed with Dimash' humanity, quite apart from his talent. It's sad that right now they probably won't be able to meet for some time. But I hope their story isn't over yet ❤️
The collaboration and connection (and, yes, affection and respect) between Igor and Dimash is so intimate and spectacular, it has to continue. But I’m wondering what’s happening now…or about the future. I think I read that Dimash is now, or has been recently, in the U.S. (Los Angeles, maybe). And Igor is a famous Russian composer, born in Ukraine. 😢
@@peakydene1943 It's difficult to speculate about that without it getting too political.. Let's just hope that somehow they will meet up again. Interestingly a few years ago, Igor himself has said in an interview that in order for Dimash to have an international breakthrough, he would have to live & work in the US or UK for a while. So it's not like Dimash has now chosen an 'alternative' to Igor. Igor saw this coming a long time ago, he's a great professional ❤️

Certainly Igor could predict that, because Dimash is just spectacular…one in a billion. I am an 80 year old woman, an American, and while on the internet I thought I had discovered the most spectacular voice I had ever heard in a young Norwegian girl who had won Norways Got Talent in 2014 when she was only seven years old. Her name is Angelina Jordan, and at age seven she was singing jazz songs from the 1940s like the greats Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Her vocal range, her pitch, her interpretation and understanding of the music at that age was unbelievable. And she was singing in English, not her native language. Since then, I’ve marveled at her talent as she has covered hundreds of songs, at ages 9,10 and 12 and when she covered Bohemian Rhapsody at age 13 on AGT, even better than the originals. She’s now 16 and becoming a star. Thankfully she has a protective and loving family guiding her. Angelina is truly a prodigy, and I have compared her voice to an angel, and coincidentally, her fans are called Angels. So, I thought I had discovered the most angelic voice on Earth, until I recently discovered Dimash. Now I know there is another voice on Earth that can be compared to angels. Dimash is such an amazing young man and we on Earth have been blessed with his enormous talent. Like Angelina, he has been blessed with a loving, protective family who realized his talent at such an early age. He truly is a prodigy, but he has worked hard to perfect the gift he has been given. His vocal range is extraordinary and probably unparalleled. That he sings in 15 languages and plays 7 instruments is mind-blowing. And I love that his fans are called “dears.” And it’s wonderful that Dimash had a lovely mentor in the famous Igor. These two young people-Dimash and Angelina-are headed for greatness. I hope I can stick around long enough to listen to their beautiful voices for many more years.
@@peakydene1943 Angelina certainly is amazing 😍 Right now Dimash is in Yerevan, Armenia for his concert on the 29th. He will also have a concert in Antalya, Türkiye, on May 6th. After that he will either return home or back to LA, I don't know which but we'll find out soon enough 🌞

They talked about this song in a Russian talk show once, Dimash said he had wanted to sing it from the man's perspective. Philip Kirkorov was also on the same talk show and he has always seemed a little envious of Dimash but even he had to admit that this was the most beautiful version he had heard. Dimash always makes a song his own, it is never like watching a cover even when it is. Even with Ikanaide it almost became a completely different song.

Dimash performed his rendition/cover of LILAD as a tribute to Alla at this Celebration. This performance was in 2019, the song was 25 years old and Dimash was also 25 years old. Igor Krutoy had composed this song the year Dimash was born (1994).
This song actually is a cover. Initially it was written by Igor for famous Russian lady-singer Alla Pugacheva. After he discovered Dimash they covered some of Igor's best-selling Russian hits. Не перевирайте. Крутой не писал эту песню специально для Пугачевой, и вообще показал, и предложил Филипине Киркоре и та заявила что эту песню должна спеть cама Алла Пугачева. Песня изначальна была грустной и минорной, но Пугачева заявила, что хочет ее спеть в мажоре и счастливо. Так и спела. Димаш вернул первоначальный замысел - песню страдание по наконец-то обретенной любви.

I love your sincere and funny reactions to Dimash. Everything he brings, they are at least little pieces of art. A big "peace" of art is one of his latest own compositions " the story of one sky". He worked on that masterpiece for 3 years, he edited the screenplay and played the main role in this mini movie. The song was written many years ago by Igor (if I'm not mistaken, even before Dimash was born?) for a famous Russian singer, Alla Pugacheva. She sang the original version and it became a very famous song. Since then other artists sang their versions too. If I'm not mistaken, Igor re-arranged the song for Dimash to sing at this event (which was an event honouring Alla). Correct me if I'm wrong, Dears 🙏
Correct! It was at Alla's tribute show. I believe it was Dimash' idea to insert the Ave Maria. Originally it's a bit of a singalong party banger, but Dimash truly made it into his own, doing full justice to the beautiful lyrics.

According to Krutoy story himself, he wrote this song generally and not specific to anyone, but he offered first to sing this song to Alla Pugacheva (AP) gay husband #4 who is the singer as well named Fillip Kirkorov. When Fillip saw this song he said this song must be sang by AP. When AP got this song, she said I want this song to be happy song and in a major style, so she did it that way. Dimash returned this song to its original version, the song about getting the love after so much suffering and struggle that it felt not real, unbelievable and dream-like.

It was a pop song and Dimash wanted the song from a man’s point of view and sung it like a ballad. It won a few awards in Russia but it was during Covid . One of my favorites. Listen to EL AMOR EN TI. Dimash Spanish song he premiered at his concert in September.

This song was written by Igor Krutoy in 1994. It was sung originally by Alla Pugacheva and subsequently by Lara Fabian and now Dimash. This is one of my favorties, beautifully arranged to suit Dimash. Thank you for reacting to it.

I have just found Dimash, so I am in a state of shock. I am a 70 yr old English woman and I have never experienced anything like him. My vocabulary does not help me when describing Dimash, I listened to the Japanese version of Ikanaide all night and I wept and smiled and and my whole day was filled with his voice. I had to stop myself from listening to him all day, although I did not try very hard ! A performer who truly deserves the adulation he recieves. The level that he has worked so hard to acheive, every single breath and note a lifetime of dedication. I am unworthy !!
I ama 73-year-old American woman who discovered Dimash seven years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to him. Ikanaide brings me to tears every time I hear it. I have always loved music, and never heard anything like him before. When I listened to SOS Singer 2017 the first time, I went crazy because there was no identification on the post I searched for him for weeks and finally found some things. I'll be 74 when I attend his concert in Budapest, my first live concert of his. I feel very grateful that I'm able to attend and listen to him live. To have heard him at all in this life is a blessing, as you have expressed. ❤

This performance of Dimash was the first one I saw, and yeah it got me mad too. I wasn't ready for my perception of reality to change, but a couple of songs more & I had no choice, thankfully ❤️
The affection & respect Igor & Dimash have for each other on & off stage is a thing of beauty. The way you see them listening for each other during performance is so captivating. I never can stand when people mistake Igor for the 'piano guy' bc clearly they are a duo. He always is very protective of Dimash when they are doing press or talkshows & with fans, and he takes great delight in his backstage jokes & goofyness! He definitely is like a second dad. He has said that when they met he immediately was impressed with Dimash' humanity, quite apart from his talent. It's sad that right now they probably won't be able to meet for some time. But I hope their story isn't over yet ❤️
The collaboration and connection (and, yes, affection and respect) between Igor and Dimash is so intimate and spectacular, it has to continue. But I’m wondering what’s happening now…or about the future. I think I read that Dimash is now, or has been recently, in the U.S. (Los Angeles, maybe). And Igor is a famous Russian composer, born in Ukraine. 😢
@@peakydene1943 It's difficult to speculate about that without it getting too political.. Let's just hope that somehow they will meet up again. Interestingly a few years ago, Igor himself has said in an interview that in order for Dimash to have an international breakthrough, he would have to live & work in the US or UK for a while. So it's not like Dimash has now chosen an 'alternative' to Igor. Igor saw this coming a long time ago, he's a great professional ❤️

I am an 80 year old woman, an American, and while on the internet I thought I had discovered the most spectacular voice I had ever heard in a young Norwegian girl who had won Norways Got Talent in 2014 when she was only seven years old. Her name is Angelina Jordan, and at age seven she was singing jazz songs from the 1940s like the greats Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Her vocal range, her pitch, her interpretation and understanding of the music at that age was unbelievable. And she was singing in English, not her native language. Since then, I’ve marveled at her talent as she has covered hundreds of songs, at ages 9,10 and 12 and when she covered Bohemian Rhapsody at age 13 on AGT, even better than the originals. She’s now 16 and becoming a star. Thankfully she has a protective and loving family guiding her. Angelina is truly a prodigy, and I have compared her voice to an angel, and coincidentally, her fans are called Angels.
So, I thought I had discovered the most angelic voice on Earth, until I recently discovered Dimash. Now I know there is another voice on Earth that can be compared to angels. Dimash is such an amazing young man and we on Earth have been blessed with his enormous talent. Like Angelina, he has been blessed with a loving, protective family who realized his talent at such an early age. He truly is a prodigy, but he has worked hard to perfect the gift he has been given. His vocal range is extraordinary and probably unparalleled. That he sings in 15 languages and plays 7 instruments is mind-blowing. And I love that his fans are called “dears.” And it’s wonderful that Dimash had a lovely mentor in the famous Igor.
These two young people-Dimash and Angelina-are headed for greatness. I hope I can stick around long enough to listen to their beautiful voices for many more years.
@@peakydene1943 Angelina certainly is amazing 😍 Right now Dimash is in Yerevan, Armenia for his concert on the 29th. He will also have a concert in Antalya, Türkiye, on May 6th. After that he will either return home or back to LA, I don't know which but we'll find out soon enough 🌞

They talked about this song in a Russian talk show once, Dimash said he had wanted to sing it from the man's perspective. Philip Kirkorov was also on the same talk show and he has always seemed a little envious of Dimash but even he had to admit that this was the most beautiful version he had heard.
Dimash always makes a song his own, it is never like watching a cover even when it is. Even with Ikanaide it almost became a completely different song.

Hello from Canada. I am a 6 year Fan/Dear of Dimash's music & performances. This performance was a birthday celebration for Alla Pugacheva (original singer). Dimash performed his rendition/cover of LILAD as a tribute to Alla at this Celebration. This performance was in 2019, the song was 25 years old and Dimash was also 25 years old. Igor Krutoy had composed this song the year Dimash was born (1994).
This song actually is a cover. Initially it was written by Igor for famous Russian lady-singer Alla Pugacheva.
After he discovered Dimash they covered some of Igor's best-selling Russian hits. The lyrics actually is woman's prayer for endless love. They changed some words so that man can sing it, adapted music to be sang by such a rich voiced male artist.

Не перевирайте. Крутой не писал эту песню специально для Пугачевой, и вообще показал, и предложил Филипине Киркоре и та заявила что эту песню должна спеть cама Алла Пугачева. Песня изначальна была грустной и минорной, но Пугачева заявила, что хочет ее спеть в мажоре и счастливо. Так и спела. Димаш вернул первоначальный замысел - песню страдание по наконец-то обретенной любви.

I love your sincere and funny reactions to Dimash. Everything he brings, they are at least little pieces of art. A big "peace" of art is one of his latest own compositions " the story of one sky". He worked on that masterpiece for 3 years, he edited the screenplay and played the main role in this mini movie. His screem for peace and unity is hartwrenching and the way he uses his vocal toolbox to evoke the whole story is mindblowing beautiful. Here in that piece you met a true master of his skills. The song was written many years ago by Igor (if I'm not mistaken, even before Dimash was born?) for a famous Russian singer, Alla Pugacheva. She sang the original version and it became a very famous song. Since then other artists sang their versions too. If I'm not mistaken, Igor re-arranged the song for Dimash to sing at this event (which was an event honouring Alla). Correct me if I'm wrong, Dears 🙏

Correct! It was at Alla's tribute show. I believe it was Dimash' idea to insert the Ave Maria. Originally it's a bit of a singalong party banger, but Dimash truly made it into his own, doing full justice to the beautiful lyrics.

According to Krutoy story himself, he wrote this song generally and not specific to anyone, but he offered first to sing this song to Alla Pugacheva (AP) gay husband #4 who is the singer as well named Fillip Kirkorov. When Fillip saw this song he said this song must be sang by AP. When AP got this song, she said I want this song to be happy song and in a major style, so she did it that way. Dimash returned this song to its original version, the song about getting the love after so much suffering and struggle that it felt not real, unbelievable and dream-like.

I have heard/watched this performance so many times that I can't count and it cuts deep in my heart every time.
