Agree my friend: Kurpiński is very little known in Western Europe but should be more because his orchestral music (overtures at least) is absolutely worth the level of several composers of "Beethoven era" .... pity that he is appreciated only in Poland and around (guess in Romania you listen more to him than in Italy or France, don't you?). In another upload I even detected Mendelssohn style before Mendelssohn (it was an overture of 1812 opera hence Félix was still 3 years old .... id I remember well it was Ruins of Babylon, still from this channel). I also like his polonaises and the set of 9 variations for piano is a hidden gem that I absolutely recommend you to listen. To the next on your channel or .... anywhere else ......
