Thanks for this vlog as always. Wow! 80,000 baht per month not including rent or mortgage! That's more than I have coming in on my UK pensions put together. In common with all UK expats here, my UK State Pension was frozen at the rate it was when I arrived here 10 years ago (i.e . No increases. They must live an extremely lavish lifestyle. We manage on far less than that including mortgage repayments, car loan repayments, University and accommodation fees for my daughter and eating out once a week. Like those Aussies, I couldn't afford to live in UK now especially as the cost of living has risen 11% in the last 12 months. I love Thailand and am so grateful to God that I can live a good lifestyle here at a fraction of what it would cost in UK. God Bless 🙂🙏

Great video as usual. Ill be out that way early 2023. From my arm chair Hua Hin is high on my list. I'm 50, retired and cannot wait to get out there to explore. 80k Bhat a month to live well! That is dirt cheap compared to Vegas. I went out for sushi last night, just me, no beer, only a water 2 sushi rolls and one 2 piece yellow tail sushi, 50 USD, tip included (in Vegas not on the strip, out where no tourists are, the burbs). What would something like that cost in Thailand? I have no idea.

Thanks for the video and sharing, if i am going to retire in my 50's now, I need at least $3K a month to live anywhere in Thailand comfortably plus whatever extra savings I have for emergency because living pension to pension is not enough.

80000 a month sounds reasonable. Assume rent for a house fitting their lifestyle being 30000 per month. Totals at 110000. Annually 1320000. now the big question needs to be answered. Comprehensive Health insurance included or not? A good int. one for me, age bracket 61-65 is around 200000 per year. For two it’s 400000. Budget now would be 1720000. Thats around 50000 USD. Makes sense? How much they or you pay for health insurance? Again, above 60 premium really hits you. If rent is 20000 and medical 100000 each, total is 1400000 or 42000 USD. In my view that’s what a western couple should be able to afford.
