Congratulations on your marriage, Mr and Mrs Green. I am so happy for you both. I think that things in Bangkok are much more difficult than out here in Isaan. We got the "Free to Marry" paperwork from British Embassy and had it translated and stamped by MFA, which took 2 hours for the paperwork and 4 days for the translation to be sent back to us from Bangkok. After that we waited a couple of months, waited for a nice day, walked into Khon Kaen Amphur office with the paperwork, which was then checked and passed to the boss who had to be woken up, asked us Orapan, my wife, a few questions and then passed everything back to a clerk who produced the Marriage Certificates and passed them back to the boss for signing. I wasn't asked any questions. It all took less than an hour. But having seen how busy Bangkok is I think you were wise to go through your lawyers. You certainly covered all bases. "May God grant you both the wisdom to live a harmonious and joyful life together, the strength to navigate life's challenges, and love that overflows to bless all who know you." Amen 😀❤🙏

After leaving Thailand over forty years ago to live with her dad in the States and never returning. David and his TEAM do a good job and try even with the sometimes difficult communication or farang patience to make it painless. Today I get my Thai Wife back. It's so exciting. I'm in Hua Hin right now but will be returning to Sydney on Monday morning. It's interesting that you choose the 26th for your wedding day. In Australia this is the day we celebrate Australia Day, or some refer to it as Invasion Day.
Wife and I were married in Nevada 2020. Registered it in Buriram after translated certificate. Kor 22 done at amphoe. Wife changed her name after,no problem. My wife has a tourist visa. First use was smooth in. Did not even look at passport.Just used face scan and said welcome to USA to her.

Bangkok is unique because even tho it is very large, there is a mix of modern and old, rich and poor, eats of anything you desire, places to see and go for everybody and, a very good public transportation system. I've not been there other than the airport but, I just wrote those things based on the videos I have watched and they are believable. Very unique city.......
