hello Spa Guy,.. john here from the uk / England,.. i recorded at sun studio this year, on monday 24th June 2024,.. with my good friends simon, Keith, and Steve,.. from the uk based band called ( Rip it up ) we recorded some original songs that i had written for my late friend Helen Patterson,.. Helen had always wanted to go to graceland and so i decided to travel to Memphis on what would have been helens birthday, i said a few prayers for helen and elvis and on the same eveing we recorded at sun studio,... it was a bittersweet day, getting to stand at elvis grave for my late friend Helen,.. and recording songs i had written for her,.. i stood on the spot that elvis sang and i hope he approved of my songs for my friend Helen,..a slow lament called, ( walk with the Angels ) and also an upbeat rockabilly song called ( rockin in heaven ) hopefully by christmas i will post a video of night at sun studio,.. many thanks spa guy,.. i love your videos, keep up the great work sir. my regards John,.. from Derby in the uk / England.

As a musician that grew up on that era of music mostly Elvis, if I was ever able to play in that studio the love I have for that place and it's history I think I would be an emotional wreck!! But great job guys especially that last song it gave me chills!! I know E is proud!!

I’ve listened to the you man (Will?) singing at the end at least four times now. It’s an amazing song and he has an amazing voice. I’d love to have a copy of it. A huge thanks to Spa Guy for always giving us wonderful videos to watch. I’ve been a huge Elvis fan since I was a little kid.

How cool is this!!! To record at 706 Union Memphis Recording Studio where Elvis, Johnny, Jerry, Carl, Ike, BB, and all the other greats recorded! And you guys are great.
Such great fun to watch. I just made the pilgrimage from Canada with 4 bandmates to record four of my songs at Sun, live off the floor. I recognize Daniel's voice as he was my recording engineer as well. So surreal to stand on the X where the King stood and started rock and roll so many years ago and scream into a shure 55. If anyone is even remotely interested you should put this on your bucket list and do it for sure. Epic. Unforgettable, and reasonably priced as well.

Some great mixed memorabilia and so well displayed.
WOW Great music being kept alive and listening to this makes me feel happy. The songs were amazing from Bill and Will and you Billy on the Piano
The music industry of the last 30-40 years leaves "me cold". All these so called artists of even the last 5-10 years all sound the same and they scream and i am not even a fan of Adele and with horrible autotune which they need. to sound good. As someone has commented about Taylor Swift.

I've been there. Very limited parking spot and very dangerous, depending on the time of day. It was very busy there the day I went. Lots of people and several tours. My wife and I had a blast. They made me dance like Elvis in the studio. I remember the place where I was standing the girl pointed to and said thats where Elvis recorded. I felt so honored. I remeber they let me sit down at the piano and I almost broke the seat with my fat self. There should be a do not sit sign there. Great memory. I was in awe the whole time. My wife was shocked that it was so small, but me being an Elvis nut, knew it was very small. I guess sometimes big things come in small packages.

Loved this video so much, I had to watch it twice! Considering a third time even! Elvis' rich history and the God given talents from you, Bill and Will are unrivalled! And y'all are just so humble! I was transported back in time... yearning for more. Will needs to be mainstream.....I loved that song and hope it gets released to the public! I am speechless!

Huge Elvis fan here, went to Graceland/Sun in November of 2019. All the Elvis stuff was awesome obviously but I thought one of the coolest stories was the amp on display about how it fell off the car and broke. They stuffed it with newspaper and that’s the shaking sound on the song Rocket 88

Wow Billy that was awesome you guys are at ground zero of Rock and Roll actually recording. Your a man of many gifts brother really enjoyed that song that will sung he has a very good unique voice your piano playing was brilliant.
I was thinking looking at that old picture next to the piano as you were playing of the million dollar quartet old Jerry Lee is the last man standing these days wouldn't it be just amazing if you could get an interview with him before he's gone I believe if anyone can get it it would be you my friend. A lot of people would love to see it.

Great video Spa Guy ❤ What an experience. I love the fact how you notice things, nothing get's by you. It's those little things that make you wonder and realise how cool it is that those things are still here. The black and white photo's on the wall are very impressive, wow. I wonder was Sun studio's still recording when Elvis' was alive. The beginning of his carreer. Wouw ❤
It was not recording after Sam moved in about 1956 until it reopened in the 80's..

Beyond historic... I visited years ago when I was just getting into Elvis, and it was cool then, but have since broadened my tastes to include all the blues greats like BB, Howlin' Wolf, Ike Turner, etc. etc.. To think so much magic was created between these modest walls is just totally mind-blowing to the max.

I've been to Graceland a few times and I absolutely loved it. But I have to say that Sun Studios was more electric than Graceland for me. Just something about it. Nice to see it again. ♡

that was a hauntingly religious moment . the song was great, the production was excellent , the musicians and singer were fabulous......and the ghosts of john , carl , elvis , and so many others were singing along ......in harmony that only those of us who still revere their gifts can hear . nice video , billy , ....new breath to a venerated relic of holy musical history .
