Elvis was true to people he just started out with he never left anyone behind. A true southern gentleman, his kindness will never be forgotten. Elvis was true to himself and people around him. That's another reason there will never be anyone like him.
Awesome! You're absolutely right. When it comes to Elvis, you can't forget about Lansky Bros. It's because of him that Elvis dressed so sharply. Match made in heaven is right.
I'm from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 and you're right, everyone remembers where they were when Elvis died. I was eighteen and was driving when the news came on, I think I went into shock. I had discovered Elvis at eleven when I bought some old 45's from the school fair, amongst them was "Are you lonesome tonight". I fell in love and asked who this singer was and people said "don't you know who Elvis Presley is", well I certainly did from then on. I want to thank you so very very much for the thorough way you go about presenting all the videos...I feel like I'm with you at every location. Unfortunately I haven't been to Memphis yet, the only place I have been to in the South so far is Atlanta, but I have to say sincerely that of all the places I've been in the world, you Southerners are the nicest people I have come across. God Bless xx
Mr.Sparsuperman, We in the Far East can't thank you enough.Your videos have given the world a different angle of The King, who will live in our hearts forever! Elvis has never really never the building!
I met Bernard Lansky many times. He sold me a lot of clothes. A great guy with great stories. I really miss him. We named our Sheltie "Lansky" in honor of Mr. B. Another great job Spa Guy!
David It brings them to life for me too... I shot a lot of the same videos for myself as long ago as 29 years but the video quality was bad and there was not TH-cam so I just shared them with friends.. Now I get to share high quality videos with all of my friends like you.. Thanks for watching, Spa Guy
Great video as usual, I know is gonna take me a while to watch every single one of your awesome videos, but I am very excited about that. I was almost 8 years old when he passed away. Thanks again for letting us to see what you see with your own eyes.
I love all of your videos, and this one is no exception! Thanks for your sincere and loving dedication to all things Elvis. Great footage, once again!!
Thanks Spa Guy for sharing this awesome story . It would be a wonderful experience in my life, if I could have one chance of getting inside that shop surrounded by awesome Elvis clothing and other and other cool items he may have. If I ever get to Memphis, I will be sure to look for Mr. Lansky ' s store and hope I'm prepared to buy some cool Elvis items. Thanks for the time you put into making these videos and sharing them with everyone. ☺😇 Have a blessed day.😇
I,listened to this again… Lansky said he was the first to give him a credit account, but didn’t Elvis get one at the store where Gene Smith’s wife was working?
Très belle vidéo , donc c'est la boutique où Elvis venait s'habiller . Emballage dans du papier de soie , quelle classe !👍 Elvis toujours très élégant .
Only discovered your videos recently. Fact that you were a friend of Scotty Moore make it all more closer to history & story of young Elvis. So sad to hear Scotty Moore & so many of Memphis Mafia group have passed away. But your videos will forever share the many things his fans all over the world will treasure the life and graciouness of Elvis & the impact he had on all of us.
Hey spa guy I've been watching you for the past couple of weeks I've recently hurt myself and haven't been working and you rekindled my love for Elvis all over again so interesting the way you go into great detail of all the landmarks you truly are fan and you know you are truly appreciated by me and probably a hell of a lot of other people I'm in my 50s I don't know if I'll ever make the Graceland it's one of my dreams I hope it's still there after I retire because when I do go I'm going to spend at least two weeks down there thank you once again keep up the good work and don't forget to tighten it up
I love your videos. Fun and informative. Something I’ve never seen, nor probably ever will. But I love Elvis. And the more you add, the more I know I was right about the goodness of the man. Thanks for always taking the high road about The King, and not broaching his alleged “issues.” What human doesn’t have issues? Thanks, Spa Guy. You always upload good videos.

Back in the 90's and early 2000's Hard Rock used to be a restaurant called Elvis Presley's Memphis. I used to go there often! They had great food and great bands!
Hello from England. My video likes on Elvis has pointed me to this video you posted some years ago. Lansky's and all that history. Such an individual store where you would have had and still have such individual service and i am thinking Elvis would have also.
Great video bud. This doesnt involve Lansky's, but It seems most of the Memphis Mafia are leaving us all within the last few months. Saddened me to find out Red passed. He didnt live long after Sonny. I believe i saw Red in your video from Sonny's funeral. Alot of history has left us in a short amount of time. What you are doing is very important, so please keep it up.
Thanks Bryan.. Yes it was Red at the funeral and I could kick myself for not talking to Red that day.. I didn't think is was appropriate at a funeral so I didn't speak to him though I stood and looked at him for about 5 minutes and argued with myself back and forth.. I decided I would see him soon in Memphis and didn't walk over.. It was an opportunity missed... I plan to go to his funeral too.. Thanks for watching... Spa Guy
doubt is the devil go on your first instinct..... I would of asked him if he had any regrets on writing the book ....I Know that`s not right but neither was the book....just sayn`
Loved this video Spa Guy ❤. Mr. Lansky sure did some nice wrapping, did he knew that he was standing before a famous Elvis historyian? He should have give you an extra wrap LOL. Next time I am in Memphis I'll step by the Peabody and hopefully can buy something, I am worried about the pricetags. Really cool btw you worked with Scotty. That's amazing. Elvis always looked his best but in his later day's he often wore a jogging suite and sometimes no rings at all. Maybe it had to do with his weight. Old mr. Lansky told that he gave Elvis his first suit and his last suit, when he passed away.
New to your posts friend and absolutely love them! I only wish I know about these and had watched them before I went to Graceland and downtown Memphis last year!! Keep going mate and I will keep watching! Superb! Mark in England

Another awesome video! I knew that Elvis shopped there but I didn't know that he shopped there so extensively. I've wondered for years where to get that particular jacket, didn't know that Lansky's also made his movie clothes and touring clothes. That jacket has been a favorite of mine since the early 70s but I didn't realize at first that it was a movie jacket. My first memory of that jacket was from the cover of my favorite Elvis Christmas album which included the song "Mama Liked The Roses". Still one of my favorite Elvis songs to this day. Spa Guy I saw your video awhile back were you visited Elvis' childhood home in Tupelo. I read were its now is at it's third location, from were it was when Elvis lived in it. Could you locate the original location of the house when Elvis and his family lived there, as well as the second location. I know the original location was near an area called Shakerag.
This is one of my favorite Spa Guy videos as far as covering sites in Memphis. Must be fun for Lansky JR to operate a historic retail shop as 2nd generation. Not many famous shops/stores in all of America if you think about it. Mr Lansky lives the part good as well.
