Back when I was going to college in 2008, I had a poly sci prof who told us about Biden’s plagiarism being his demise in ‘88. It seemed like zero young people at the time (now in my 30s) knew that. He didn't plagiarize that, he lied about that. When someone says "I did ___." and '___' is a simple falsifiable fact, and they did not, in fact, do '___' ...they're a liar, not a plagiarist.

To answer one of Neil Kinnock's points, one of the reasons he and his wife were the first of their family to have attended university in a thousand generations is that, for about 960 of those generations, there were no universities. A thousand generations is 25,000 years, and the oldest university in Europe wasn't established until 1088.
