Just bought the pro my first hobby grade rc to run around my yard no rock crawling just gravel driveway and 12 acres of grass to runn around , never thought this could be so much fun.

I got my first crawler at over 65. Now I want a desert bash truck and a better crawler. Then when I get a good crawler, join a group and have fun.

The RedCat Gen7 Pro is a great entry level rig. I started my RC life with it. Still have it, but I have done axles mods with portals, metal driveshafts, new motor and esc, new wrangle jl body, 2.2 wheels and tires. It's on my channel. Great video bro.

Agreed, peefect entry leven crawler. I'd like to see people make an educated decision and understand what's actually being reviewed.

My neighbor has the Pro, it's massive, and an awesome crawler. Saving up right now, the sport would work too, and $80 less. Still want the Pro.

Between you and Ryan, I'm going to end up with RC trucks. They look like a lot of fun!

LOL that's not a bad thing. I got bit hard by the truck bug. Crashing and bashing is right up my alley 🤣

one thing i dont like about it is the VERY bare back of the truck!!! im thankful that it at least has the liscence plate tho (non-owner opinion)

Excellent review. I have the pro and a trx4 and three young sons driving them on trails and rocks. The pro hangs with the trx pretty well but comes up short in several areas. The diffs hanging up on things is number one complaint. Then its a draw between lack of tire grip vs large turning radius. That being said they all three like driving the pro just as much as the trx as long as its not just rock crawling. Subbed, liked and dinged.

i would recommend driving both in another video so we could see the difference (not a youtuber but i am a visual learner)

I like the pro! But for some people’ we like to make a challenge on building so if you wanna get creative I would go with the Gen7 sport

From the looks of it not much axle clearance though.
