I really miss living close to the shop. I miss all the people and a tiny bit of accountability to show progress in your work. While I’m in the club and meet online, it’s so nice to see other people projects on needles in person. Ellen and team have really created a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the shop and I haven’t come across that in other stores.
I’ve made CFE my home although I’d give anything to live within a reasonable distance to be there in person all the time. I’m constantly trying figure out how I can get back in the shop and how to connect in other ways as well. Ellen and her lovely ladies and club friends have changed and enriched my life forever,❤😊
I am left handed and my mother taught me to knit right handed when I was 8 years old and when I was 19 an elderly patient of mine taught me to crochet and how I learnt I mirrored her so I am a left handed crocheter and a right handed knitter
I always say that there is no need to think about left or right handed with knitting. It’s like typing it playing the piano-both hands are busy doing their own thing!
I now combine knitting and crochet by knitting the rib bands it looks so lovely
What a lovely episode. I don't belong to a knitting group myself but watching these knitters interacting, makes me consider joining one.
It is wonderful to see a gentleman knitting.
As a European, I'm just happy to see a continental knitter :D
We have lots of continental knitters!
I go to a yarn store to crochet to crochet every Tuesday and every month we crochet anew item

I miss you too, Jana ❤️
How lovely! I’m in the UK and the sense of community you all describe is very much mirrored in some of the shops I visit - go knitters 😌
That’s wonderful! I’m so glad to hear!
