A much more relaxed session this time, had some worm, and I really wanted to target a sole. I've never had one myself, and only really seen a couple being landed. Unfortunately it wasnt to be this time round, but we had plenty of schoolie bass, and some other species

Thanks John, yeah it makes sense to me to do what we can. It is more expensive, but I do think it makes a difference, albeit a small, but like you say every little helps👍👍🎣
I wouldn't be disappointed with that session Dylan, you caught fish, it was a lovely evening, I have to drive well over an hour to sea fish , there I only get bites from mozzies, unless I go to my daughter in Poole, take care, Norfolk Ray

If you use small circle hooks with a loop knot the bream hook themselves, small snoods also help, as does a lumey lead - works REALLY well at FV where it’s deeper 🙏 really loving your channel 👏👏👏👏🎣🤞👍
Thanks for the tips mate. I've never used a lumey lead, I believe you can do it yourself, might be worth having a go. Fingers crossed they stay around for another couple of weeks🤞🤞👍👍🎣
The weed is a problem at the moment, you did well to catch the strap & a few bass, 😊
Fingers crossed it's not too bad tonight, first time out for a couple of weeks, so hoping I can get something. Couple of bream before they leave would be 👍👍🎣

Love your videos especially the matches you fish, I might be teaching my granny to suck eggs but if you want to get the sole and flatties try using small size 4 hooks small bit of lug 2cm and tipped with a bit of mackrel but the secret is to put alternative black and green beads on each hook snood about 4cm in length, the fish think they are small mussels that they feed on so are attracted to them. Works on the holdeness coast so worth a try. Tight lines Dylan keep the videos coming.

Great video. I walked along there when I fished Fort Albert on the lures in June. Looked a really lovely mark 👍
It is a lovely venue down there. I've never done particularly well, but it's always worth a go. You just never know when a good fish may come along👍🎣🎣

Hi Dylan, nice to see that you’re joining the latex gang. I heard about it about six 6 months ago from Billy fishing, I’ve used it since then and as you say it’s quite a bit thinner. I started using the medium grade first but found it too fine for me and quickly changed to the thicker one . Anything to help with fish conservation. Anyway, nice little session, you still haven’t found a flatfish yet but I’m sure it’ll be like the rays, get one and they’ll be like London buses. Until next time,fish on.
Thanks Chris, I'm thinking the same, I bought two medium and one fine, but I'm doubtful I'll be using the fine. Probably will get some of the heavy. It's super elasticated, super stretchy, I did get in a bit of a mess last night with it, I think the dispenser takes a bit of getting used too. 👍👍🎣🎣

Hi Gary, the music is from a track tribe, it's a collaboration of artists that make and produce royalty free music that can be used on videos etc. most of it is instrumental, but a few have lyrics. Glad you are enjoying 👍👍🎣🎣

Yeah fingers crossed mate. Had a nice session off the pier last night. Haven't fished it for ages, had a monster bream. 2lb 10. My biggest by a long way. Hope you're well bud👍👍🎣🎣

I don't know why flatfish are so hard to catch on the Island.
I think there seems to be a few over sandown way, but small. Sole around Vic way off the beach. But I only ever target half heartedly. I should just grab a load of rag, and use both rods, and have a proper go👍👍🎣🎣

Mate it was littered with small bass. Desperate for a sole though. Had a good session off Yarmouth pier since we've been back. Had a 2lb 10oz bream, was well happy. Corfu was great thanks buddy👍👍🎣🎣😎
