They recorded the bass perfectly, unfortunately it was mixed purposely so the electric guitars overpowered the bass so you can't hear it. Poor Jason :((
D. Scott Whitaker the whole production of AJFA was rubbish imo. The clicky drums & thin guitar sound. I suppose that's part of what makes the album so great and I could live with the crap production if only the bass wasn't muted
Dude. Shit sounds like you bought James's guitar and you are using it in the vid lmao holy shit it sounds EXACTLY like the actual song. Great great work mate
The Rp1000 connects to any computer with a USB port. It doesn't matter which computer you have. You do need recording software if you wish to record, however. Hope that helps!
This is how the guitars and vocals should have been mixed together in the original. Live concert vibe with studio recording quality. It's just perfect. Great work!
@ReykoRR I recorded this through my effects pedal and into my computer, and edited the sound later. Then I synchronized the sound and video in Final Cut Pro.
The tapping is incredibly easy man! I used the side of my pick to do it, it makes even easier. But if you're fairly new to guitar Nothing Else Matters solo is great to learn too. I just know that when I was fairly new I made myself learn solos like One and it pushed me further and I progressed quicker.
Thought I would look up other peoples covers of this song because I'm currently learning this one. It's fun and for a metallica song it's really easy. I wanted to learn Blackened but that one's a bit too much of a challenge for me right now. I need more practice and maybe I can do Blackened. Your cover of this song is really good. Makes me look bad but I'll get there. Good show.
Whether it's worth it but I actually recommend the solo from One. Learning that solo will give you solid foundations for your playing and loads more confidence to learn the harder solos. One solo is easier than it sounds too!
Still can't understand how you rest your guitar so far from your center, haha. If that were me, it would've slid off my leg a million times. Great cover.
I like how you commented on your own video. lol But, I do agree. You did a great job with this song. I might re-learn this song. Anyways. Awesome cover!
I'd say Windows Movie Maker is the equivalent of iMovie, and there's a bunch of audio software for PC, but the ones that come to mind are Pro Tools, Audacity and Cakewalk. Hope that helps!
you should have done battery or damage inc. instead of master of puppets. yeah master of puppets is complex and fast but battery and damage are faster and a lot more complex than master is. also would love to see some kill em all stuff. whiplash for instance and hit the lights. you should cover dyers eve fastest and most complex song they have ever written
0:24 say what you like, that is the most badass introduction of a riff ever
I can imagine this playing when the boss in a game just lands from the sky and everything around him just disintegrates.
i can imagine me having the exact same thoughts listening to stuff at night
@@tropic1018 I imagine a big courtroom with white walls and stuff
i imagine my little pony picking daisy flowers under a rainbow.
ok boomer
one simply cannot refuse to headbang to this.
Fuck yeah!!
WhiteBoySwag seek another genre if you don't lol
Caleb Bartlett wat
WhiteBoySwag
I think he meant if you refuse to headbang to this seek another style of music.
yes haha that's what I meant!!
8 years im here, listening this sick cover.
2024 trying to re-learn this with carpal tunnel 😂😂
Not only very accurate, but the guitar sound is just "perfect metal rhythm guitar".
I love the intro to this song
I just fucking love that rhythm intro just sounds sinister I honestly like the sound of yours better to be honest
great job dude, best record they ever made is justice in my opinion... wish they would have recorded the bass sections correctly though.
D. Scott Whitaker ...And Justice for Jason, look it up for great justice
They recorded the bass perfectly, unfortunately it was mixed purposely so the electric guitars overpowered the bass so you can't hear it. Poor Jason :((
ziMikeyy Thanks to Lars...
D. Scott Whitaker the whole production of AJFA was rubbish imo. The clicky drums & thin guitar sound. I suppose that's part of what makes the album so great and I could live with the crap production if only the bass wasn't muted
@@ziMikeyy you can thank Lars for that.
this song puts me in a trance every time i hear it
5:15 when that second guitar comes in with that riff gives me chills every time. Whether it be a cover or the real song. 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟😯
Dude. Shit sounds like you bought James's guitar and you are using it in the vid lmao holy shit it sounds EXACTLY like the actual song. Great great work mate
ikr fuckiing killer tone! Those EMG pickups are the main reason :P
+Caleb Bartlett not really, I can get a very close tone using shitty default Epiphone humbuckers. Most of it is down to the amp
John Moore That's true!!
+John Moore Speaking of amps, mind to show the settings for this peace?

0:54 Hetfield's best riff ever, and that's saying something
What pedals and amp settings do you have to get that tone ? Sick cover btw 🤟🏻
This is pro!
