Very unique drumming coming from Lars on this album and especially this song, people don’t give it enough credit
Lars can be an amazing drummer when it comes down to it. He’s even admitted he’s got lazy when it comes to putting in the hours in terms of practice.
What people need to get with Lars is he will play for the song- not to shine out as a blast-beat/double bass demon. He’s also a key figure when it comes to general composition and song arrangement. Guy deserves a break from the hate

I always loved the pattern/groove of the toms and the kicks in this song
Same here, it was very cool dynamics for Lars to pick these arrangements to compliment James's riff. Justice is my favorite album for many reasons, but this song is one of them.

This is hand-down my favorite Lars drum track. It propels the song, lets it breathe, and gives it that creepy "on edge" feel. Awesome cover.

Man, I've been listening to Metallica since the late 80s. Heard my share of covers. You are by far the best drummer I've heard playing their songs. Always been a fan of Lars style. My son found you and showed me your channel. I'm totally a fan of your playing! Keep up the great work!

Lars put so much effort into his tracks for this album. Intense, high attitude thrash drumming with so many versatile fills...What happened to you, Lars?...
He got old, like we all will, LOL 😂😂. But to me he's still the GOAT!!! He was the inovator of these types of drum rhythms and patterns and this style of drumming. He may not be the best at it today, but it should be recognized that he was one of the first and best to implement it EVER!!!.

Being able to play anything off "Justice" so accurately does turn down the awe of Ulrich's "A- game", which clearly ascended to unreal heights during THIS album; however, the achievement of nailing ANY song on Justice is masterfully duplicating a Mega Star's pinnacle of mind blowing drumming mastery and that accomplishment deserves mad respect...and Justice for all, of course!

Great job bud . Not sure why people hate Lars? He’s an iconic drummer and was ahead of his time. Love it or hate it, the load album showed great skill and adaptability to a new generation.

Well, it's simple, at Lars' peak he was one of the best drummers in the world. But he just got lazy and stopped practicing and isn't all that good anymore.
