Well I cannot comment to that because I don't know 100%. However I wouldn't necessarily put it past any government agency to do something like that. But, I can't say they did for sure or not...

New water is always hard to catch em, but it´s really fun to discover new places and try to figure out where they can be. Just keep it up! Btw... How did that beer tasted? :)

Well all the news I've heard seems like it was written by the EPA itself. HAHA But I hear its totally fine. Like no damage. Not sure how much I believe it, but... They were expecting that the high flows of the summer would have kicked up more that settled but it didnt. And they said they tested the fish and they came back totally healthy, no heavy metals in their blood.

The Animas is a tough river. Hadn't fished it before that day, and took a while to figure it out. I went today and caught 3 very pretty trout in just a short time. But, fishing is fishing, and its not always good on the Animas.

My sarcastic humor is hard to get through as well. Im not bothered. However I'm not fully a novice. I do admit I'm not the best fisherman though, but I have "some" experience. While its not a lot, its enough to usually catch. However filming makes that difficult. I have to pick and choose what spots to fish so I can actually film. I also pay more attention to filming then fishing. Its just me out there, no one filming me, so I have to worry about the camera's and what not. I used to catch every trip (seriously every trip) before I started filming. However now It seems I don't catch except one every 2-3 trips. This I'm sure is not dirty water compared to KY, however in KY you might be lucky enough to fish larger flies (that they can see). Im stuck with size 18 or smaller nymphs here. This is muddy for this river, which makes the fish hide and go deep. When the fish are used to the mucky water, then well, they don't hide as much.
Yes its a nice river for sure! I think I chose the wrong time though to start fishing it. Should have gone in the summer. It is not easy this time of year to fish (at least what I am told, and my experience). 3 trips and only one fish. However it was a really good fish! HAHA
Well I had not eaten all day, and I left super early as shown. I think I had breakfast at like 5:00am, and that was around 5pm. No food since. I had forgotten to bring snacks. So I was hungry, very hungry. Yes the beer helped as well. HAHA A Cigar probably wouldn't have hurt either! HAHAHAHA
