    To increase the number of detected GPS satellites, you need to install a ferrite ring on the wires of the GPS receiver. It will also be better if you wrap these wires around the ferrite ring several times.

      So, the ring acts as an RF choke? How big of a ring and where can I find one?

    i own a lot of fpv drone and decide to buy this little boy brand new on the HGLRC official site to test the flight capability of a drone with a couple of 18650 battery. This drone flight well and my overall judgement is positive. Only one issue with the M80 gps onboard (ublox protocol) that refuse to works at all. Also testing a second one (NMEA protocol??) same issue ..... Asked to customer care HLRG that ask me to send a video and ask me to wait for technical support and wait and nothing happen ..... HGRLC the worst customer care support never seen.... by the way the M80 is'nt equipped with button battery on board and every power on is a cold start (the gps never remember the position... ) bought a Beitian 220 for 13 dollars and finally everything run fine....

    You had a lot more battery left. 2.7v is safe to fly to. Glad you actually mentioned the best batteries this time. Did you say what the VTX power was? I understand needing the extra battery for the GPS/motor/prop/weight but I don't think it's worth it since it doesn't freestyle well. There's better 3" 1s options that get way more flight time. Good for long range though. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Sony VTC6(for time) or LG HE4(for power).

    I really enjoy your videos! I was wondering around the 12:45 mark where you were doing light acro the drone lost a ton of altitude while recovering. Was this due to the drone's lack of power/performance or were you dropping altitude on purpose?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sorry for the late reply..This drone isn’t designed for Acro(battery style), but having said that, the drop was majority me and my flying style. You can take a look at the throttle position(bottom right) during that portion of the flight. I was not even above 67% during the recoveries.

    Thanks. I have an analogue Rekon35 ELRS built in connected to a Jumper T Lite. All good even arming works. Just can't seem to get the link quality to display on the OSD (it always says zero with the flashing warning). Where did I go wrong in Betaflight?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t know what version of BetaFlight you’re on, but I’m on 10.9.0. So try to go into your Receiver Tab and make sure your RSSI is checked in the off position. Next go to your OSD tab, on the left side you will see “Elements”. Make sure you have selected both “LinkQuality” and “RSSI dBm value”. You will now have to arrange those elements on the screen, depending on where you want them. A good recommendation is to not place them too close to each other. Sometimes if they are placed too close, you might have a stacking/overlapping issue where one element actually covers the other. The LQ and dBm needs space to display all characters and numbers. Hope this helps.

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as the warning, you can go to warnings of the “OSD” tab and unselect “RSSI dBm”. I don’t think that has ever worked in BetaFlight. You will still get a warning and flashing if the LQ and dBm goes below a certain value.

    I'm a total drone beginner. Expecting my Tinyhawk III RTF kit + spare batteries to arrive in three days. Looking forward to the first few flights, crashes, and gradually gaining confidence and ability. Luckily, I have some nice large indoor areas to fly where I work. Absorbing as much info as I can, but there's SO much. Already wondering what the first upgrade I'll want will be. This nano long range looks very cool, but I don't think the Recon35 would work with the transmitter or goggles I'd get with my RTF kit. Would the Babyhawk II HD with Frsky D8 have similar long distance ability to the Recon35, but work with the goggles and transmitter I've already ordered? I bet a video recommending a few specific upgrade options to beginners like myself that have bought a Tinyhawk III RTF kit would be very popular. Thanks for the great videos! They're super helpful and I look forward to seeing what you have to show off next!

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Congratulations on your first RTF drone. You'll be addicted in no time. The Rekon35 would be compatible with your radio and goggles as long as you get the analog version with an Frsky receiver. The only area of concern is that Frsky receivers are not known for long-range reception. As far as the BabyHawkII HD, it will not be compatible with your goggles or radio. I would suggest the analog version of that fine as well. I've done a full review on this drone and is a great performer. It is my daily driver and testing platform for radios and goggles. Welcome to the FPV Hobby.

    Have you figured it out the low number of satellites you were getting? Did you fix it? Im almost buying this drone, do you still recomend it?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a good drone.. There are numerous factors to affect GPS reception including location and other environmental conditions. You can lower the required amount of satellites in BetaFlight from 8 to whatever number you need. If you look at my flight footage, you'll see I get over 8 pretty easily once I started flying(confirming there are multiple factors affecting satellite count). As far as recommendations, you have to know what you're getting into.. It's kind of a niche drone. The 18650 batteries, light frame, ELRS, and GPS make this drone special, but these things can also make your flying experience more difficult if something goes wrong. I still have mine, and have fun with it.

    After I combined the small colorless center piece and the propeller, do I just push them onto the motor's center pole ( let the motor's pole penetrate the middle hole of the small colorless center piece)?
    In this step I am panicking because I am scared that I might push the propeller too hard and damage the motor.
    Did you use any other tools or you just push them in by hands?

    • @OneManUnmanned
      @OneManUnmanned  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything you said is correct. Sometime people assemble the clear center piece to the prop, then press it unto the motor shaft as you said. You won’t damage the motor. Everything can be done by hand.

      I have no fix or solution for this. GPS modules can be tricky sometimes. I was able to get 5 during my review, but subsequent flights got 7-8 pretty regularly. You might have a bad GPS module. I would try a different location, or even try orienting the drone in a different angle. Sorry I could not help more.
