Both the C4 and the C5 were extraordinary when they were introduced. Both were true world-class sports cars compared to their contemporaries. Comparing the C5 to the C4 is as fair as comparing the C8 to the C5, though I would choose the C5 over the C4 or the C8 (and I did). Looks are subjective, but I find the C5 the best-looking Corvette since the early, pre-crash bumper C3. My C5 works for me, but I think the C4 deserves more love than it gets.
Agreed, beyond the crossfire '84 launch model, the C4 deserves more love. However, it will get more challenging as prices for the C5 regularly fall below $20K.
At least with the c4 i dont have to tear the rear suspension iut of the car to replace to clutch. Who in the hell designs a car like that fir the street ? That is a stupid idea. This js a car to enjoy, not empty your bank account.
The C5s are great cars until you need to replace the fuel pump, rear main seal, torque tube, clutch or transmission...I think I'll just stick with my C3
Hi John. To clarify, without AI, I combined my traditional background research and data pulls with my personal knowledge about the cars to develop the presentation and the "B" Roll video/pictures I sourced. Instead of filming myself, I used AI to read my presentation and develop the conversation. Candidly, I believe it comes across as more engaging content than having me present it.
Its like listening to two aliens from Zenebulan 5 trying to sound like a gen x who never actually driven a corvette, but is hella good at reading English
The LT5 was launched in the ZR1. The LT4 was released in 1996 with a manual transmission only.
The 405hp ZR1 motor was an LT-5, not LT-4. That was a 96 manual ONLY option 330hp engine.

'91+ C4 I hate the front end on the 5.
Is this an AI pod cast?
