This worked BEAUTIFULLY, just used Rexes instead since we had them already before I found this video. GOOD LORD did it make it so much easier. Thank broham \m/
Random fact: Cactus Broth is used to prevent all "wild dinos" to target you unless you get too close to them or you get in their line of fire or something like that, its usefull for example: running an artifact cave without being noticed by the dinos, which unless triggered cave dinos remain in stasis unless they target something. Related to this video, I personally remember trying using the cactus broth in order to be unnoticed by the genesis boss, although it failed because corrupted dinotars and avatars spawn with a target, so it's easier for them to target you even if in cactus if they are not in stasis mode. REALLY Useful fact #2: use cactus broth in abb boss, no dinos, just shotgun, 2 cactus just in case, a lot of ammo, maybe meds if you get hit by rockwell and some ol' doom music. REALLY Useful fact #3: you can do center alpha without dinos too you just need glider, shotgun and some high spot to shoot the monkey and spider (You can use a cangaroo also). (Haven't confirmed this one, you are advised) To get good tek rifles you need to do the mission of the tek giga, it is actually easy, shotgun (yes, shotgun to everything), meds to survive the space biome and do it in gamma, it isn't worth it doing any hunt in something other than gamma because the difficulty is too high. That part its true, the thing that I didn't confirmed is that tek rifles you get that way you can use them even without having the tekgram unlocked . btw actually almost all bosses are easy done with shotguns; Dragon(rag), Spider(cen), Monkey(cen), Manticore(rag), rockwell(abb). REALLY Useful fact #3: You can tame really easy reapers by doing this: lightpet, rockdrake (good hp), shotgun (200 at least or something): Strat: turn on your light pet, get close to the reaper, face tank her with the drake and spam left click like if you life was depending on it, when you get 'er below 1k or when purple sparks starts glowing, turn down the light pet and wait (On rockdrake). The thing about this, is that the reaper can actually grab you from your mount and impregnate you without needing to get down, nor use a shield, just be aware that the reaper will bury almost certainly, if you find an 150 reaper queen better trap it with whatever method you got, but if you want one for cloning like lvl 20 or something like that this method does come in handy PHEW that was a lot of text, good video btw, this is the best strat I've seen so far about this boss, maybe next time I'll try it myself and come back here if I remember to say that I've donde it, also, hope this helps someone :)

I prefer a tek rifle as the key runner cause it allows me more shots before overheating and I can pick ele up from the drones. Mostly better to have shotguns for rhinos riders, they don’t have the chance to get the ele off the ground. But honestly with how cheap ele is on Gen you could take 3-4 ele per person. What are your thoughts on using some Velonosaurs set to turret mode in place of a few rhinos? Thinking it could be a good alternative for smaller groups.
Hey Jesse, I don’t think it will work. There is not really enough time to set them up before the waves start. Plus they will get shredded if Dino’s get to them. Tbh I am concerned with the final stage and I feel they would be far more of a hassle than help and would certainly lose many. Only shot you would have is a 255 ping server. At least on laggy server the stuns and Dino bites are not as bad. Imo it would not work, but if you try it and it works let me know :)
Have you tried using a set of velos, since you run with 4 as a jump on dino after each round and set them in place as you have the rhinos folo you hop set them turret and then hop on a rhino?
@@oi88113, I have not done that before no. I am unsure it would work. I think the velos would get aggrod and won't be able to turret mode attack enough to contribute. I could be very wrong and if you're able to pull it off that's awesome. For me, this is honestly just the easiest way to do it so we have always done it. I think If I was doing this solo I would still keep reapers and would be willing to try velos. I just think they would be too risky as the moment they get hit they stop shooting and gigas would do a good bit of damage onto them. Also, reapers would send them flying if they c spin near them. Would be fun to test though. If you do that with velos let me know how it goes :)

Hey, so the rhino melee is not as important as the HP. 600-800 Melee will do just fine and kill the gigas and reapers with ease. For HP I strongly recommend nothing lower than 10k hp. The higher the HP the better, and take loads of cakes for the rhinos. I would suggest 2 stacks per if it's your first time with rhino/reaper strat. The lower the hp of the rhino the better saddle you will need. And be sure to carry a shield for rhino riders. if they get dismounted, put a shield up until you can get back onto the rhino. Hey Economes, yes you can avoid the lasers by watching the timing they project. If you are against the border or wall then the lasers cannot reach you. Just in case take a riot shield and if zapped by the laser just hold ur shield up until you are able to mount the rhino again. Hope that helps and answers your question. In order to be able to complete the Genesis boss you must have the missions completed on the server you intend to do it on. Each difficulty level has a set amount of missions needed for each fight. They will not activate or show up if missions are not complete. If there is nothing there at all it could be a bug for you, I would suggest the pain of verifying files and see if that fixes that issue. Hope this helps. Keep us posted KingJ :)
Do you think I could do gamma solo. I have rex with 140k health and good saddles around 90 armor. I have reapers I could bring also. I heard if you put the element in your dino you can leave with it.
Hey Cmac, I don’t think it will work with a Rex. The bleed effect will hurt. Gamma is easy but not that easy. I would suggest taking maybe 4 reapers. Spreading them out. I would instead do take a rhino or Theri and cakes. Multiple sets of flak and a good shield. The support is appreciated. 1) Yes you can use rexes, however the bleed damage from the gigas will very likely kill them due to the percentage bleed dmg they inflict and the lack of healing for rexes. So if your unable to carry in rhinos my next best Dino’s suggestion would be really strong therizinos. Honestly, even if you got some 150 tamed rhinos with great saddles and cakes you can likely win it. 2) yes, I always use a tek rifle when I go in. It’s ez to pick up the ele off the dead drones that falls. So I would not suggest even taking any ele with you cause you cannot take it out with you. Tek rifle is my preferred over shotty every time. You can use shotguns, tek rifles, honestly any guns will damage it. Just shoot the face on the final stage after you put keys in on each stage like I showed in the video.
Hey GLOBALLY, let me try to explain/help here. For stage 1, 1:26 this time marker shows the reaper being buried. The two sides are symmetrical for every stage. For stage 1 look at the lines in the ground. The best placement is the inner point of the cross line that arcs between the two Parallel lines. For stage 2, 3:16 near the end of the hill, there is an intersection where the line diverges to the right. Burying on top of that intersection is the optimal spot I have found. For stage 3 4:38 there is a corridor there on the right, you will see an intersection on the right side that is the best spot for a reaper, the left side of it is tricky so just line it up within the corridor and parallel to the reaper for the best spot. For stage 4 6:21 you want to bury the reaper at the intersection of the lines that the crosshair is pointing at, at the time I linked. For the second reaper, you will mimic it on the intersection that parallels on the other side. Remember this, the EXACT placement is not super important. the general areas that I place mine are the best. The goal is to catch all the avatar traffic so they immediately aggro to the reaper. Yoo nice strat, we tried the boss fight before I got to watch this, we were aight on all rounds until the last one, or rexes started dying out when our daeodon lost food. Might try this reaper strat, got any tips for the last round?
Hey Stefan, I have around 220 movement speed with swamp fever. I have 330hp now but honestly the stat that matters is 300+hp, 180+speed, and enough weight to carry your gear. For the gigas I always carry a shield. They take the full dmg of the giga bite so if you get stuck just raise your shield till you can run out. Also take laz chowder and focal chili and med brews. They would, but they would get destroyed on the last round. Which is why we never do it like this. Many people have suggested using them and thought it would be good idea however they would get hit so often that they would not turret mode well. They are also squishy and can’t heal like rhinos with cakes. So likely would be a huge failure, but give it a shot and if it works let us know :)

Hey jaeasy, I would not recommend doing this solo, but if your alone just be sure all the Dino’s have best possible saddles and I would use therizinos with cakes, and some rhinos too. You cannot port gigas into the fight last we checked. Melee is never the issue it’s always hp. 600 melee can clap everything in the fight. If you do it solo also take extra flak and med brews and maybe 2 tek rifles to cycle through for when the boss becomes immune on the last stage. Also, as off 4 days ago the boss was bugged and could not be started. I have not checked this weekend to see if it is fixed. So keep that in mind also. Hope this info helps. Good luck :)
Hey Kirk Gourley, HP is far more important than DMG in this fight. Most we take in are 12-15k hp and varying from 1100 dmg and up. Any rhino that is 10-12k hp and a good saddle can make it through ez. Just be sure to take extra cakes. I have run it with 4 people total. Let the reapers do most of the work, have everyone on rhinos kill once a good amount has amassed around them. Should work just fine. The runner can take a rhino in as well if need be. Hey Xelz, reapers never take dmg so the hp doesn’t matter. I take lvl 5 clones in now. Rhinos just need cakes, health at least 10k hp. Good saddles are also recommended. And dmg can be anything over like 600. The avatars are not bulky so low dmg can kill them. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
Hey Javier, the reapers I carry now are level 5 clones with base hp. They take 0 dmg while in the ground. Rhinos I would suggest a minimum of 10k hp and 600 dmg. Just be sure to use plenty of cakes and a good saddle. Good luck! :)

Yes you can, but it can be difficult at times and you ned to be sure to whistle them off at start of each round or they might unbury at bad times hhahahaha
Someone else said this yesterday I believe. Are you on the server you have completed the missions on? If so then they may have messed up coding when they messed with the points system for the missions on Genesis.
@@jackiboii2976 Yeah, missions are done on this server. Really a shame because a group of us were ready to do the fight, had the rex army out and everything. I even did all the missions in the span of a day only to find out it's not happening. Really concerning because WC hasn't addressed it.

They seem to be scrambling to fix a bunch of stuff that Gen 2 broke. It's clear Gen 1 is not a priority or concern as they have nerfed the missions to the point owning a genesis 1 is not worth it anymore. It is really sad cause Gen 1 is an awesome map. I would use the strategy from this video. Farm up really great saddles and lots of cakes. Level your rhinos for this fight to about 9-10k hp and the rest in melee and make sure you place those reapers well and you should be able to do it. The melee is not as important on the rhinos as the health. Another option you could try is theriz. I have not personally used them on the fight, but know other ally tribes that used them and they do okay they say. Hope this helps. No we have not tried this, as the Dino’s are not insects I honestly did not think it mattered. And will how easy the strategy is there is no need. Good though though.
I would recommend rhinos over theri, and I have done it with 4 people including me. You just need loads of cakes, extra flak, and a lot of movement speed for the runner. And ensure you all have enough shotgun ammo or ele with you. Let the reapers do most of the work. The last stage will be your hardest. Good luck, hope this helped. Have a good day :)
Hey Taylor, unsure if there is a difference between the platforms. But there could be. Maybe try a test run of purlovia an see if they aggro and stay buried. Someone else mentioned the idea in another comment but have never tested.
They do like he said they have to b in certain parts or the boss eye beam will unbury them,I normally bury them directly in the middle of the bridges right where the ramp starts to go down but I like his placement better, also I highly suggest setting them to ignore group whistle I’ve done this 50+ times usen giga glitch and far too often some Bob all whistles and chaos ensues...
Giga glitch is patched jus tried last night so don’t ask XD use to b able to have ppl grapple the ground right before entering them mount giga... still very doable with 1100 Rhino/ cakes op, reapers r a god send 2 is fine more is better ;)
I have never tried it solo, I would for sure have reapers and rhinos of separate group whistles. 2 reapers is usually enough. An you can take up to 17 other tames, so I would just take as many as your comfortable with. Let me know if it works out :)
You can skip 1 or 2 at most, but there are glitches on the map you can collect I believe 24 on each biome(may be less tbh) and if you collect all of them for each biome that counts as a mission. Hey, sorry no the Basilisk will take dmg and come unburied so they do not work. I have not tried Purlovias, but they have the same type of identifier as a basilisk does so I think it will not work, but you can try it in a single player for a test. I know you can beat beta solo, unsure of alpha. If your really good at group whistles and ensure the rhinos or theris have loads of cakes then I suppose you could give it a good shot. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Let me know if it works :)

No, basilisk gets knocked out of the burrow and will take dmg and die. Must be reapers, possibly purlovias, but have not tried, and would be more hassle tbh.
Hey Crow God, a Basilisk will not work. Unfortunately it gets knocked out of bury. We tested that initially and sadly did not work. Purlovia’s have not been tested, however I am pretty sure they could be knocked out of burrow also. Their burrows are similar to one another in mechanics, however reaper burrow is different. Hey John, sorry yea many pc players use files called ini files to change the way the game loads and looks. There are legal ones that allow bad pc’s like mine was to run the game. Without it I would not have been able to play back then before I updated my pc. The ini essentially removes light blooms and shadows and lowers gradient qualities on structures and the world. For potato pc’s it’s the only way we can make it with the game. Thank goodness I upgraded when possible and can enjoy the game as it was intended. If you want to mimic the settings just take all blooms and shades off entirely and lower the quality of graphics and it will get to looking that way pretty fast.
To my knowledge it still works never saw any patch notes for it. But it’s been two weeks since I have run a fight for anyone. If it changes though I will be sure to make a pinned message. Hope it helps :)

But with randoms that dont understand the mechanincs on ark, it can be really something else. Even when you explain everything from a to z... as soon as they get dismounted, they all panic🤦♂️
What is kill command? Admin command? If you are in single player there are mods that give you engrams and commands to do so. If not help me understand what your referring to :)
how do you do this fight with only 3 people? we tried the rhino strat on Gamma and failed, the avatars kept aggroing onto our rhinos after we cleared the reapers and it just devolved from there, it's on a private unofficial server.
That is tough man, never done it with so few people and never on an unofficial. I assume ping is good there so lag won’t even stop the gifs bites as often. My best advice would be to bring extra Dino’s in that can tanks and spa on whistles. Have 2 non stop rhino and some other rhinos or theriz with cakes dps aggro. Constantly collect keys and run and have capped shotguns or tek rifles for dmg. Good luck, I am sure many Dino’s will die, but maybe you can at least get the lvls

Yeah for sure. I have run it with only 4 people before. Not sure what stats you have, but just ensure reapers are buried near the areas I show. For your rhinos have a good amount of cakes, and good saddle and should be just fine. You could try to bring 4 reapers in, and spread them out more, have multiple rhinos on whistles, but I would say that it will be very difficult. Keeping the rhinos around the reapers and not aggro to everything will be a pain. Plus you need to get Keys and deposit them. In my professional opinion (run well over 150 fights) I would say it’s impossible without accepting you will lose some Dino’s, and even with the best of luck, I am just not sure it can be done solo. Hey BJIU3ER, the rhinos varied. As long as your rhinos have 10k hp good saddle, and loads of cakes you will be fine, and dmg can be anything over 600. Will get the job done. Good luck :)
I still seem to have problems of them getting past the reapers, is it because we are to close r something and they aggro to us? And right now I have 12k rhinos with 700 dmg on each is that find for alpha?
Hey ultron, yeah your stats are fine just have loads of cakes and a good saddle. Which stage are the Dino’s getting through the reaper line? They can occasionally aggro to you on the first 3 stages, but it’s unlikely. However, the last stage is all out war. Ensure your places reapers close to the points in my video. Stop the video to figure out where so you know when you go in. Best way to measure it is using the lines on the ground. The fourth stage they will break through, only way to possibly change that would take additional reapers but handling more than 2 is difficult. Just be sure on each stage your butt of the rhino is against the map border. That should help. It’s easy to just get distracted and run around a little, that causes Dino’s to aggro. Just let them pile up and clap over the reapers. Final stage is tricky, sometimes they don’t spawn enough unless your running around, so just do what is needed and cover each other’s back, let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions I might can help with. @@jackiboii2976 so far I feel like they can get passed the reapers almost every round, but the reapers are helping tremendously as 80% of them pile up on the reapers. We are trying the 3 reapers now and we beat it on gamma with that yesterday. Does bringing a yuty in, in the back with us cause any problems we also have a few therizs mainly in case we get attacked
@@ethan_c The yuti buff is not needed, but could always help. I would say it's more of a risk to have it there cause you will need to protect it. If it works for you guys though use it. The theriz are good in there. They don't heal as much from cakes, but they can get the job done. 3 reapers will help a lot too. You guys got this. Hey DK K, no it does not work well with basilisks at all. They get knocked out of the ground and take damage so they simply don’t work. Someone mentioned purlovias might work, but that has not been tested by myself or others in my tribe. The best bet is using reapers though. Has not failed me yet. Good luck, and hope this helps :)

No not at all. It bites and does a bleed effect. The bleed effect hurts more than the bite itself. A rhino with cakes can out heal it easily and any melee on the rhino can pretty much 1 tap them. Hope this helps answer your question :)
Hey @Caleb Try Hards , yes I do believe this will work on small tribes. I have run the fight with as little 5 people personally. The only thing you really need is ensure your rhinos have at least 8-10k HP, you burry the reapers in close proximity to where I showed, you have cakes for rhinos, and you have 600-800 dura flak. If you have worse flak just bring extra sets and if you have lower armor saddles bring lots of cakes. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Everybody brings their own tames. So they are varying. Any rhino with 10k hp and 800 melee will do just fine in the fight. The key is decent saddle and cakes, and to let the reaper do all the heavy lifting :) hope this helps. Yeah, you could go on with allies. You could even try sneaking into someone else’s fight, but I am sure you will die as they would attack you and the Dino’s in the fight would Afro you also. But yeah you should be able to go in with allies. I honestly have never tried it, but the teleport to the fight is the same as any other Hlna to on the map. Hope this helps.
Don’t remember the stats for those rhinos, but have don’t it over 100 times. Just have 10khp and 600+ dmg with a good saddle and lots of cakes and it’s ezpz. Hope the video helps :)

Hey rob, have not personally, but I can tell you that you would not get knocked off. The laser beams are same as abs Rockwell and we did test that with stegos. Only fear with stegos is the overload of avatars and the lack of enough melee to kill quickly the waves. Also runners would have a roughly go with it. But could totally be tested. Let us know if it works please :)
@@jackiboii2976 Can confirm you do not get dismounted on Stegos. Their AOE was good for the packs and they are tanky as hell when bred well. But you will need something faster like Allos to go in and out

Those had around 10-12k hp and 1k + melee. Hp matters more than dmg. So anything about 10k hp, and 600+melee will do. Just be sure to have plenty of cakes on rhinos :) at least a stack or 2 of cakes maybe more :)
Hey Chris, it worked a week ago when I ran it for some tribe mates. But I have not run it in a week or so. I also did not hear or any patches or updates regarding reapers or the boss fight. Hey, sorry I don’t know. This want done so long ago. It was one of the legal ones that was being passed around with all light blooms shades and some other things turned off entirely. I had a terrible pc so it was darn near a potato and that’s how I had to run ark for a long time. Sorry I cannot be anymore helpful with your question. I have not done a fight in about a week and a half, but it was not fixed as of then. If they patch this method I will post another video on the most current easiest way we do it. Hope this helps :)
@Nathan Truelove sorry no I do not have the missions for the alpha Gen boss on PVE servers. However, if your alone and needed to do the boss solo I would think the same strategy will work, just ride a rhino and ensure they all have cakes. Whistle attack targets and run around the reapers when needed until you kill all the needed avatars for keys. If you have any issues with certain missions please feel free to comment below what they are and I will try to help however I possibly can :)
Hp only stay that is important. 9-10k hp minimum. Any melee will 1 tap everything. Most important is the cakes for the rhino and a shield for it you dismounted by laser an getting bit by gigas. Hope that helps. Also I think I opened 1 rhinos inventory to show it in this video. If I am wrong let me know and I can check the stats of my loaner rhino. Have a great day.
I don’t think I could do this solo, but if I were to try it would be by have loads of Dino’s that you know are going to die on aggro tied to your tame. It’s gonna be hard on the final stage but if you succeed you will be a legend for sure. Just take loads of med brews, cakes, extra shields and flak, and some lesser antidotes in case you get bit by giga and need to debuff while running for Keys. Good luck.
Reapers the stats don’t matter. They never get dmg. For the rhinos anything over 10k hp and a good saddle with cakes will do it. Key is letting reapers to most the work and cakes for healing. Hope this helps.

Random fact: Cactus Broth is used to prevent all "wild dinos" to target you unless you get too close to them or you get in their line of fire or something like that, its usefull for example: running an artifact cave without being noticed by the dinos, which unless triggered cave dinos remain in stasis unless they target something.
Related to this video, I personally remember trying using the cactus broth in order to be unnoticed by the genesis boss, although it failed because corrupted dinotars and avatars spawn with a target, so it's easier for them to target you even if in cactus if they are not in stasis mode.
REALLY Useful fact #2: use cactus broth in abb boss, no dinos, just shotgun, 2 cactus just in case, a lot of ammo, maybe meds if you get hit by rockwell and some ol' doom music.
REALLY Useful fact #3: you can do center alpha without dinos too you just need glider, shotgun and some high spot to shoot the monkey and spider (You can use a cangaroo also).
(Haven't confirmed this one, you are advised)
To get good tek rifles you need to do the mission of the tek giga, it is actually easy, shotgun (yes, shotgun to everything), meds to survive the space biome and do it in gamma, it isn't worth it doing any hunt in something other than gamma because the difficulty is too high.
That part its true, the thing that I didn't confirmed is that tek rifles you get that way you can use them even without having the tekgram unlocked .
btw actually almost all bosses are easy done with shotguns; Dragon(rag), Spider(cen), Monkey(cen), Manticore(rag), rockwell(abb).
REALLY Useful fact #3: You can tame really easy reapers by doing this: lightpet, rockdrake (good hp), shotgun (200 at least or something): Strat: turn on your light pet, get close to the reaper, face tank her with the drake and spam left click like if you life was depending on it, when you get 'er below 1k or when purple sparks starts glowing, turn down the light pet and wait (On rockdrake). The thing about this, is that the reaper can actually grab you from your mount and impregnate you without needing to get down, nor use a shield, just be aware that the reaper will bury almost certainly, if you find an 150 reaper queen better trap it with whatever method you got, but if you want one for cloning like lvl 20 or something like that this method does come in handy

Thank you so much! I am working on a video for the Moeder boss mission on Genesis now. Will also be doin quick videos on more in the future to hopefully help everyone out. I prefer a tek rifle as the key runner cause it allows me more shots before overheating and I can pick ele up from the drones. Mostly better to have shotguns for rhinos riders, they don’t have the chance to get the ele off the ground. But honestly with how cheap ele is on Gen you could take 3-4 ele per person. What are your thoughts on using some Velonosaurs set to turret mode in place of a few rhinos? Thinking it could be a good alternative for smaller groups.
Hey Jesse, I don’t think it will work. There is not really enough time to set them up before the waves start. Plus they will get shredded if Dino’s get to them. Tbh I am concerned with the final stage and I feel they would be far more of a hassle than help and would certainly lose many. Only shot you would have is a 255 ping server. At least on laggy server the stuns and Dino bites are not as bad. Imo it would not work, but if you try it and it works let me know :)
Have you tried using a set of velos, since you run with 4 as a jump on dino after each round and set them in place as you have the rhinos folo you hop set them turret and then hop on a rhino?
@@oi88113, I have not done that before no. I am unsure it would work. I think the velos would get aggrod and won't be able to turret mode attack enough to contribute. I could be very wrong and if you're able to pull it off that's awesome. For me, this is honestly just the easiest way to do it so we have always done it. I think If I was doing this solo I would still keep reapers and would be willing to try velos. I just think they would be too risky as the moment they get hit they stop shooting and gigas would do a good bit of damage onto them. Also, reapers would send them flying if they c spin near them. Would be fun to test though. If you do that with velos let me know how it goes :)

Hey, so the rhino melee is not as important as the HP. 600-800 Melee will do just fine and kill the gigas and reapers with ease. For HP I strongly recommend nothing lower than 10k hp. The higher the HP the better, and take loads of cakes for the rhinos. I would suggest 2 stacks per if it's your first time with rhino/reaper strat. The lower the hp of the rhino the better saddle you will need. And be sure to carry a shield for rhino riders. if they get dismounted, put a shield up until you can get back onto the rhino. Hey Economes, yes you can avoid the lasers by watching the timing they project. If you are against the border or wall then the lasers cannot reach you. Just in case take a riot shield and if zapped by the laser just hold ur shield up until you are able to mount the rhino again. Hope that helps and answers your question. In order to be able to complete the Genesis boss you must have the missions completed on the server you intend to do it on. Each difficulty level has a set amount of missions needed for each fight. They will not activate or show up if missions are not complete. If there is nothing there at all it could be a bug for you, I would suggest the pain of verifying files and see if that fixes that issue. Hope this helps. Keep us posted KingJ :)
Do you think I could do gamma solo. I have rex with 140k health and good saddles around 90 armor. I have reapers I could bring also. I heard if you put the element in your dino you can leave with it.
Hey Cmac, I don’t think it will work with a Rex. The bleed effect will hurt. Gamma is easy but not that easy. I would suggest taking maybe 4 reapers. Spreading them out. I would instead do take a rhino or Theri and cakes. Multiple sets of flak and a good shield. 1) Yes you can use rexes, however the bleed damage from the gigas will very likely kill them due to the percentage bleed dmg they inflict and the lack of healing for rexes. So if your unable to carry in rhinos my next best Dino’s suggestion would be really strong therizinos. Honestly, even if you got some 150 tamed rhinos with great saddles and cakes you can likely win it.
2) yes, I always use a tek rifle when I go in. It’s ez to pick up the ele off the dead drones that falls. So I would not suggest even taking any ele with you cause you cannot take it out with you. Tek rifle is my preferred over shotty every time.

You can use shotguns, tek rifles, honestly any guns will damage it. Just shoot the face on the final stage after you put keys in on each stage like I showed in the video.

Hey GLOBALLY, let me try to explain/help here. For stage 1, 1:26 this time marker shows the reaper being buried. The two sides are symmetrical for every stage. For stage 1 look at the lines in the ground. The best placement is the inner point of the cross line that arcs between the two Parallel lines. For stage 2, 3:16 near the end of the hill, there is an intersection where the line diverges to the right. Burying on top of that intersection is the optimal spot I have found. For stage 3 4:38 there is a corridor there on the right, you will see an intersection on the right side that is the best spot for a reaper, the left side of it is tricky so just line it up within the corridor and parallel to the reaper for the best spot. For stage 4 6:21 you want to bury the reaper at the intersection of the lines that the crosshair is pointing at, at the time I linked. For the second reaper, you will mimic it on the intersection that parallels on the other side. Remember this, the EXACT placement is not super important. the general areas that I place mine are the best. The goal is to catch all the avatar traffic so they immediately aggro to the reaper.

Rhinos have a run attack when you attack from far like trike, that's why the rhinos are standing far from reapers and they need to go back everytime.

Hey Stefan, I have around 220 movement speed with swamp fever. I have 330hp now but honestly the stat that matters is 300+hp, 180+speed, and enough weight to carry your gear. For the gigas I always carry a shield. They take the full dmg of the giga bite so if you get stuck just raise your shield till you can run out. Also take laz chowder and focal chili and med brews. Ok bit late here but as you are lining them up would not Velo’s make short work of the line?
They would, but they would get destroyed on the last round. Which is why we never do it like this. Many people have suggested using them and thought it would be good idea however they would get hit so often that they would not turret mode well. They are also squishy and can’t heal like rhinos with cakes. So likely would be a huge failure, but give it a shot and if it works let us know :)

Hey jaeasy, I would not recommend doing this solo, but if your alone just be sure all the Dino’s have best possible saddles and I would use therizinos with cakes, and some rhinos too. You cannot port gigas into the fight last we checked. Melee is never the issue it’s always hp. 600 melee can clap everything in the fight. If you do it solo also take extra flak and med brews and maybe 2 tek rifles to cycle through for when the boss becomes immune on the last stage. Also, as off 4 days ago the boss was bugged and could not be started. I have not checked this weekend to see if it is fixed. So keep that in mind also. Hope this info helps. Good luck :)

Hey Kirk Gourley, HP is far more important than DMG in this fight. Most we take in are 12-15k hp and varying from 1100 dmg and up. Any rhino that is 10-12k hp and a good saddle can make it through ez. Just be sure to take extra cakes. I have run it with 4 people total. Let the reapers do most of the work, have everyone on rhinos kill once a good amount has amassed around them. Should work just fine. The runner can take a rhino in as well if need be. Hey Xelz, reapers never take dmg so the hp doesn’t matter. I take lvl 5 clones in now. Rhinos just need cakes, health at least 10k hp. Good saddles are also recommended. And dmg can be anything over like 600. The avatars are not bulky so low dmg can kill them. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Hey Javier, the reapers I carry now are level 5 clones with base hp. They take 0 dmg while in the ground. Rhinos I would suggest a minimum of 10k hp and 600 dmg. Just be sure to use plenty of cakes and a good saddle. Good luck! :)

Boss fight seems to be broken, arrival protocol missing
Someone else said this yesterday I believe. Are you on the server you have completed the missions on? If so then they may have messed up coding when they messed with the points system for the missions on Genesis.
@@jackiboii2976 Yeah, missions are done on this server. Really a shame because a group of us were ready to do the fight, had the rex army out and everything. I even did all the missions in the span of a day only to find out it's not happening. Really concerning because WC hasn't addressed it.

They seem to be scrambling to fix a bunch of stuff that Gen 2 broke. It's clear Gen 1 is not a priority or concern as they have nerfed the missions to the point owning a genesis 1 is not worth it anymore. It is really sad cause Gen 1 is an awesome map. I would use the strategy from this video. Farm up really great saddles and lots of cakes. Level your rhinos for this fight to about 9-10k hp and the rest in melee and make sure you place those reapers well and you should be able to do it. The melee is not as important on the rhinos as the health. Another option you could try is theriz. I have not personally used them on the fight, but know other ally tribes that used them and they do okay they say. Hope this helps. No we have not tried this, as the Dino’s are not insects I honestly did not think it mattered. And will how easy the strategy is there is no need. Good though though.

I would recommend rhinos over theri, and I have done it with 4 people including me. You just need loads of cakes, extra flak, and a lot of movement speed for the runner. Not alpha. You need minimum 10khp. Melee doesn’t matter as much, but the hp is vital and lots of cakes.

Hey Taylor, unsure if there is a difference between the platforms. But there could be. Maybe try a test run of purlovia an see if they aggro and stay buried. Someone else mentioned the idea in another comment but have never tested.
They do like he said they have to b in certain parts or the boss eye beam will unbury them,I normally bury them directly in the middle of the bridges right where the ramp starts to go down but I like his placement better, also I highly suggest setting them to ignore group whistle I’ve done this 50+ times usen giga glitch and far too often some

I have never tried it solo, I would for sure have reapers and rhinos of separate group whistles. 2 reapers is usually enough. An you can take up to 17 other tames, so I would just take as many as your comfortable with. Let me know if it works out :)

You can skip 1 or 2 at most, but there are glitches on the map you can collect I believe 24 on each biome(may be less tbh) and if you collect all of them for each biome that counts as a mission. Hey, sorry no the Basilisk will take dmg and come unburied so they do not work. I have not tried Purlovias, but they have the same type of identifier as a basilisk does so I think it will not work, but you can try it in a single player for a test. Can I use a basilisk the same way you're using a reaper?
No, basilisk gets knocked out of the burrow and will take dmg and die. Must be reapers, possibly purlovias, but have not tried, and would be more hassle tbh.

Hey Crow God, a Basilisk will not work. Unfortunately it gets knocked out of bury. We tested that initially and sadly did not work. Purlovia’s have not been tested, however I am pretty sure they could be knocked out of burrow also. Their burrows are similar to one another in mechanics, however reaper burrow is different. Hey John, sorry yea many pc players use files called ini files to change the way the game loads and looks. There are legal ones that allow bad pc’s like mine was to run the game. Without it I would not have been able to play back then before I updated my pc. The ini essentially removes light blooms and shadows and lowers gradient qualities on structures and the world. For potato pc’s it’s the only way we can make it with the game. Thank goodness I upgraded when possible and can enjoy the game as it was intended. If you want to mimic the settings just take all blooms and shades off entirely and lower the quality of graphics and it will get to looking that way pretty fast.

What is kill command? Admin command? If you are in single player there are mods that give you engrams and commands to do so. If not help me understand what your referring to :)

how do you do this fight with only 3 people? we tried the rhino strat on Gamma and failed, the avatars kept aggroing onto our rhinos after we cleared the reapers and it just devolved from there, it's on a private unofficial server.
That is tough man, never done it with so few people and never on an unofficial. I assume ping is good there so lag won’t even stop the gifs bites as often. My best advice would be to bring extra Dino’s in that can tanks and spa on whistles. Have 2 non stop rhino and some other rhinos or theriz with cakes dps aggro. Constantly collect keys and run and have capped shotguns or tek rifles for dmg. Good luck, I am sure many Dino’s will die, but maybe you can at least get the lvls
Can you do this with basilisk's instead of reapers or are reapers required?
No, reapers can get knocked out of the ground. So reapers are the best way I know of as of rn.
@@jackiboii2976 ah k cause from what i have seen Reaper's arn't allowed on Genesis on base game settings so do you have it set to allow or have some mod on that lets them be used in genesis

Yeah for sure. I have run it with only 4 people before. Not sure what stats you have, but just ensure reapers are buried near the areas I show. For your rhinos have a good amount of cakes, and good saddle and should be just fine. You could try to bring 4 reapers in, and spread them out more, have multiple rhinos on whistles, but I would say that it will be very difficult. Keeping the rhinos around the reapers and not aggro to everything will be a pain. Plus you need to get Keys and deposit them. In my professional opinion (run well over 150 fights) I would say it’s impossible without accepting you will lose some Dino’s, and even with the best of luck, I am just not sure it can be done solo. Hey BJIU3ER, the rhinos varied. As long as your rhinos have 10k hp good saddle, and loads of cakes you will be fine, and dmg can be anything over 600. Will get the job done. Good luck :)
I still seem to have problems of them getting past the reapers, is it because we are to close r something and they aggro to us? And right now I have 12k rhinos with 700 dmg on each is that find for alpha?
Hey ultron, yeah your stats are fine just have loads of cakes and a good saddle. Which stage are the Dino’s getting through the reaper line? They can occasionally aggro to you on the first 3 stages, but it’s unlikely. However, the last stage is all out war. Ensure your places reapers close to the points in my video. Stop the video to figure out where so you know when you go in. Best way to measure it is using the lines on the ground. The fourth stage they will break through, only way to possibly change that would take additional reapers but handling more than 2 is difficult. Just be sure on each stage your butt of the rhino is against the map border. That should help. It’s easy to just get distracted and run around a little, that causes Dino’s to aggro. Just let them pile up and clap over the reapers. Final stage is tricky, sometimes they don’t spawn enough unless your running around, so just do what is needed and cover each other’s back, let me know if this helps and if you have any other questions I might can help with. @@jackiboii2976 so far I feel like they can get passed the reapers almost every round, but the reapers are helping tremendously as 80% of them pile up on the reapers. We are trying the 3 reapers now and we beat it on gamma with that yesterday. Does bringing a yuty in, in the back with us cause any problems we also have a few therizs mainly in case we get attacked
@@ethan_c The yuti buff is not needed, but could always help. I would say it's more of a risk to have it there cause you will need to protect it. If it works for you guys though use it. The theriz are good in there. They don't heal as much from cakes, but they can get the job done. 3 reapers will help a lot too. You guys got this. Hey DK K, no it does not work well with basilisks at all. They get knocked out of the ground and take damage so they simply don’t work. Someone mentioned purlovias might work, but that has not been tested by myself or others in my tribe. The best bet is using reapers though. Has not failed me yet. Good luck, and hope this helps :)

Hey Cass C, no unfortunately. Basilisks get aggro but sadly they can be knocked out from their burrow and are a pain to use. We tried them originally. Hope this helps :)

Does the giga in the boss fight actually sh/it on rhinos or no?
No not at all. It bites and does a bleed effect. The bleed effect hurts more than the bite itself. A rhino with cakes can out heal it easily and any melee on the rhino can pretty much 1 tap them. Hope this helps answer your question :)

Hey @Caleb Try Hards , yes I do believe this will work on small tribes. I have run the fight with as little 5 people personally. The only thing you really need is ensure your rhinos have at least 8-10k HP, you burry the reapers in close proximity to where I showed, you have cakes for rhinos, and you have 600-800 dura flak. If you have worse flak just bring extra sets and if you have lower armor saddles bring lots of cakes. Hope this helps, and good luck.

What’s the stats on the rhinos your using
Everybody brings their own tames. So they are varying. Any rhino with 10k hp and 800 melee will do just fine in the fight. The key is decent saddle and cakes, and to let the reaper do all the heavy lifting :) hope this helps. Can I do the boss with another tribe ?
Yeah, you could go on with allies. You could even try sneaking into someone else’s fight, but I am sure you will die as they would attack you and the Dino’s in the fight would Afro you also. But yeah you should be able to go in with allies. I honestly have never tried it, but the teleport to the fight is the same as any other Hlna to on the map. Hope this helps.

Don’t remember the stats for those rhinos, but have don’t it over 100 times. Just have 10khp and 600+ dmg with a good saddle and lots of cakes and it’s ezpz. Hope the video helps :)

Has Anyone tried the new stegos in here? ( Cant get knocked off?)
Hey rob, have not personally, but I can tell you that you would not get knocked off. The laser beams are same as abs Rockwell and we did test that with stegos. Only fear with stegos is the overload of avatars and the lack of enough melee to kill quickly the waves. Also runners would have a roughly go with it. But could totally be tested. Let us know if it works please :)
@@jackiboii2976 Can confirm you do not get dismounted on Stegos. Their AOE was good for the packs and they are tanky as hell when bred well. But you will need something faster like Allos to go in and out

What kinda stats did your rhinos have?
Those had around 10-12k hp and 1k + melee. Hp matters more than dmg. So anything about 10k hp, and 600+melee will do. Just be sure to have plenty of cakes on rhinos :) at least a stack or 2 of cakes maybe more :)

Hey Chris, it worked a week ago when I ran it for some tribe mates. But I have not run it in a week or so. I also did not hear or any patches or updates regarding reapers or the boss fight. So I am fairly certain it works still. Once it is no longer functional I will mark the video as outdated and create a new updated video for everyone :) hope this helps, have a good one.

Hey, sorry I don’t know. This want done so long ago. It was one of the legal ones that was being passed around with all light blooms shades and some other things turned off entirely. I had a terrible pc so it was darn near a potato and that’s how I had to run ark for a long time. Sorry I cannot be anymore helpful with your question. @Nathan Truelove sorry no I do not have the missions for the alpha Gen boss on PVE servers. However, if your alone and needed to do the boss solo I would think the same strategy will work, just ride a rhino and ensure they all have cakes. Whistle attack targets and run around the reapers when needed until you kill all the needed avatars for keys. If you have any issues with certain missions please feel free to comment below what they are and I will try to help however I possibly can :)

rhino stats?
Hp only stay that is important. 9-10k hp minimum. Any melee will 1 tap everything. Most important is the cakes for the rhino and a shield for it you dismounted by laser an getting bit by gigas. Hope that helps. Also I think I opened 1 rhinos inventory to show it in this video. If I am wrong let me know and I can check the stats of my loaner rhino. Have a great day.

Is this possible solo?
I don’t think I could do this solo, but if I were to try it would be by have loads of Dino’s that you know are going to die on aggro tied to your tame. It’s gonna be hard on the final stage but if you succeed you will be a legend for sure. Just take loads of med brews, cakes, extra shields and flak, and some lesser antidotes in case you get bit by giga and need to debuff while running for Keys. Good luck.

Reapers the stats don’t matter. They never get dmg. For the rhinos anything over 10k hp and a good saddle with cakes will do it. Key is letting reapers to most the work and cakes for healing. Hope this helps.
