I went on a big diet recently and lost almost 4 and a half stone - (60 pounds) I've noticed a huge difference in how my bike feels and how well it performs plus you feel so much better in yourself! ps....the full race exhaust system I have helps too 😂
The most important gain with changing you wheels is that you minimize the gyroscopic effect created by the wheels spinning. Heavier the wheels, the more stable your bike is. Lighter wheels makes your bike easier to change direction with, and it makes it more responsive ✌️
Motonosity, I'm buying a motorcycle because of you. I was initially interested in your channel because your Ruckus build series happened to commence on the same day I bought my first motorized vehicle on two wheels (a Honda Ruckus), just wanted to say thanks man, you opened up the whole motovlogging world to me, and I have viewed almost every video you have made, along with many of many of your friends and fellow people who do the same. Who knows, you might see me on youtube soon!
I still have another 90lbs to go, but lost 30lbs since March. That along with a 17/44 520 conversion on my 919 made a world of difference! By the summer that thing will be popping wheelies without breaking into a sweat!
You 100% nailed it on the bonus tip, losing weight. I'm 5'9 150lbs, I ride a 2015 CBR650F which is definitely not a king of the road by any means, I have an Akrapovic full exhaust on it, saved a good 15lbs there, fender eliminator, some other small mods like removing unnecessary things but its still sitting around 440lbs wet. But rider weight I think is one of the key things, I've run quite a few friends that are on without a question much more powerful bikes, but are pushing in the 240+lb mark when they could be 185 and healthy. and I can hang with them if not beat them on into mid triple digits.
I love being a short scrawny dude sometimes. My 200+lbs friends all trying to shave weight on their bikes and I've already got like 100lbs on em without doing a thing! The downside is I'll always be too short to ride a proper sumo
Motonosity haha yeah. moving ain't a problem. The problem is stop lights and stop signs. I'm already on the tips of my toes holding up my speed triple. Can't imagine adding like another 6-12" to the seat. Seams suicidal haha
The very last weight reduction mod. Losing weight, my last bike I weighted 258 and lost to a friend of mine. Both 06 GSXR 750's he weighted 225 with gear and I was 258 without gear. Maybe 262 or so with. NOW, ever since that day I have promised him I'm going to beat him. So I had issues and sold my bike but since then. I'm now 224lbs, beating my friend is a big thing especially that I'm from Houston and we're all competitive lol. Buying a R1 next month, I know it doesn't sound fair. R1 vs 750, but.... the R1 I'm buying is stock while his 750 is slip on, tune and quick shifter. He has been losing weight as well because of me and because how badly I want to beat him. He's not going down easily without a fight 😂 Have a good day sir!
I’ll leave my weight loss obsession here. 765 Street Triple R: 412lbs (187kg) curb weight. 1) Yoshimura Alpha-T slip on: 9.3lbs (4.2kg) less 2) Antigravity li-ion battery: 6lbs (2.7kg) less 3) 520 chain and steel sprockets with less teeth (but same gearing): 2.2lbs (1kg) less - ROTATING MASS! 4) Titanium bolts: 0.9lbs (0.4kg) less 5) Rear passenger footrests removed: 0.9lbs (0.4kg) less 6) Rotobox Boost Convex carbon fiber wheels : 9.7lbs (4.4 kg) less - ROTATING MASS! Total weight loss: 29lbs (13.1kg). That’s almost surreal. My BMI is 21.5, so no weight to be lost there!
A lot less than they would do new (I bought them from my girlfriend's cousin, who was selling his S1000R): 1500€. They make an unbelievable difference in corner entering.
right now he needs all of the money he can get, he doesn't seem to be struggling right now but the way the ads are he needs to have some money in his savings account. he can never predict if the ad revenue is going to go up or down.
Hey Brent, I just bought all the carbon fiber parts for my EBR1190RX: front and rear fenders, chain guards and ankle guards. The giant box of parts only weighed 2 pounds! The frame sliders weigh more than that!
Have a CB300R, replaced the stock Honda chain with a DID VX3, rear stocker sprocket with a JT lighter one. Had no idea a lighter chain would make so much difference in the ride.
Great video man! With your variety of bikes I can always expect a honest straight forward opinion and with having sprockets changing on my mind it had helped me come to my own conclusion. KEEP EM COMING PAPA NOSITY
Just watched like 15 of your most recent vids, very informative content you have. Especially for a future 2017 r6 owner here. I'm only in Dallas so I hope to ride with you one day
The Muscle Biker - I'll check them out! You don't need trickle charge the Shorai either, it's just if you want to maximize the life of the battery. What it does is actually deplete the battery to a lower level (I think 60%) as that's the supposed best level for a battery to be stored at for longevity.
I've heard to not run a li-ion battery when running a gy6 on the ruckus. the voltage regulator fluctuates and may overcharge it which can lead to a blown battery or fire
Number 3. You were miss informed. In the UK it only has to be sold with the licence plate passed the rear tyre (same as USA) after sales, the consumer can fit tail tidys, fender eliminators etc etc
i have and h2 and i test drove that after hearing you review honestly it just wasnt enough power it felt slow and the acceleration of the bike did too im 6'5 and could not sit on the bike comfortably glad the bike is a great fit for you but i could not own that motorcycle
What's the difference between a slip on exhaust and a full exhaust system ? Also does the full exhaust system come with a catalytic converter ? Isn't it bad for the environment not to have one ?
hi motonosity, i would like to know why your r6 look something like ''light blue'' color, here in my country is sold a little darker or is a camera configuration? love your videos
I feel like I could better compare if I was comparing the R6 with a new R1, both with similar mods. At the moment, for my bikes, I think (and I'll get hate for this) I like the R6 more. It's that new new haha
#1 do your maintenance #2 don't blow it up. #3 don't spend money on parts you don't need cause then you won't have it when you need the $2k to rebuild my bike.
Lithium *ion*, not iron battery. Abbreviated Li-Ion. I go with sealed Gel battery, you don't have to worry about pouring acid either, but it's heavier than Li-Ion. Li-Ion is probably a lot more expensive. The sealed gel battery I picked up cost $82.
Number one way: lose weight yourself. Not sure how many overweight people I've seen trying to spend hundreds to save less weight than they release every time they use the restroom. On that topic, number two: go number two.
Number one way to save weight on your bike: *run out of gas*
Motonosity approves this message
or buy a bike with a smaller engine, instant savings in weight and cost ;)
AdjrianNickelodeon can also confirm this
It's true, gas is heavy
Motonosity no gas makes it way easier to push up steep hills.
THE MTB FANATIC Im gonna start running out ;)
I went on a big diet recently and lost almost 4 and a half stone - (60 pounds)
I've noticed a huge difference in how my bike feels and how well it performs plus you feel so much better in yourself!
ps....the full race exhaust system I have helps too 😂
Jake Cooper - that's awesome bro!
Motonosity thanks man!
Good job
I heard that riding with no oil or coolant helps save loads of weight. You should try it out!
Will do!
+Motonosity
I hope you're joking.
LMAO!!! yeah.. he's joking..
If you take the whole engine out it saves weight as well, you get more acceleration but you do lose a little on the top
I heard killing yourself is the only way to live life 🧬
"little 600"? bruh i ride a 125 better call me microscopic..
And I ride a 77cc so I must be even smaller 😂
Involve Gaming nanoscope
Involve Gaming I've got a 50 i guess you can't see me unless you use an electron microscope
stephen deben Well my bike is still a 50 with a 77 bore kit so 😂😂
Same here 😕 125 problems
Video starts at 2:55
Have a big satisfying dump before riding? Bonus, if it all goes wrong you can't actually shit yourself
There it is .... I knew someone would say it ;) :D
Standard routine :)
No joke, I plan on taking a dump on the night of July 4th that will likely save more weight than any of these mods.
stonesie81 Hahaha don't eat alot of BBQ before you go ride
Really enjoyed this video. I will be incorporating some of these techniques on my next bike build. :)

step 1 to save weight. drill out all unwanted plastic.
I still have another 90lbs to go, but lost 30lbs since March. That along with a 17/44 520 conversion on my 919 made a world of difference! By the summer that thing will be popping wheelies without breaking into a sweat!

Brent Moore - nah bro, I've seen some super short guys ride sumos. Once you're on its not a problem! 😅
Motonosity haha yeah. moving ain't a problem. The problem is stop lights and stop signs. I'm already on the tips of my toes holding up my speed triple. Can't imagine adding like another 6-12" to the seat. Seams suicidal haha
Intro was so good, watched it twice. Motonosity killing it with the cinema.
remember when motonosity wanted to learn how to bmx?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I was just on lake Travis and then went to the oasis. Such a good place to eat at. Gotta love Austin
Actual content starting on 3:16
All of your suggestions was valuable information.
I especially liked the Li-on battery replacement.
and more weight saved after li-ion battery starts burning. And it burns quickly and it can't be extinguished.
The very last weight reduction mod.

João Soares Holy shit, mate! That’s a lot of weight... If you don’t mind me asking, how much did those CF wheels cost you?
A lot less than they would do new (I bought them from my girlfriend's cousin, who was selling his S1000R): 1500€. They make an unbelievable difference in corner entering.
Fitnosity tip of the day
Ways to save weight on your motorcycle:
1.Buy a supermoto
Done
Pesssa tera baap dega
I love your r6, even though I can’t ride yet, you inspire me to ride and own a motorcycle
That's my favorite spot to take a break after riding Lime Creek Rd. Pretty good view from the top of the garage.
what is with all these channels doing mobile game sponsorships now...
they aren't even relevant to the content of the channels?
go try owning a nice house, multiple bikes, have a kid, and live off of ad revenue right after the "ad purge".
yes, but the youtuber can make easy money
right now he needs all of the money he can get, he doesn't seem to be struggling right now but the way the ads are he needs to have some money in his savings account. he can never predict if the ad revenue is going to go up or down.
It was relevant to me because sometimes I pretend I'm a taco style octopus named Dave
He's done it. The motonosity list video. You should bag r6
Step 8: Stop making those sweet gains
love the intro man!! happy 4th of July weekend to you as well.
Great video! Something for everyone; from noob-pro you have great info across the board. Thanks again!
Go to the bathroom in the morning, could save you a pound or 2.
I liked the style of this video. Well done.
Thanks man!

The intro cinematics were absolutely on point for this video.
+AdventuroUs thanks dude!
Your videos are amazing man definitely getting a 2017 r6 in December .
Lose 130 pounds of useless weight... Tell her to walk!
But I need a dishwasher
Enjoyed the new intro!
Great video man! With your variety of bikes I can always expect a honest straight forward opinion and with having sprockets changing on my mind it had helped me come to my own conclusion. KEEP EM COMING PAPA NOSITY
Papa nosity? You’re trying to get this man sued lol. You know what I mean
Just watched like 15 of your most recent vids, very informative content you have. Especially for a future 2017 r6 owner here. I'm only in Dallas so I hope to ride with you one day
Enjoyed it mate 👍
Please do an updated version for 2021 or 22
Exhaust and fender eliminator coming anytime soon?
lmao- " with all the gains I'm getting, I can't see out of stock mirrors!"
How do you get those handheld shots in the intro so smooth??? Boyyy, please share your secrets cause I need to step my game up
Check out the SuperCell batteries they are smaller than Shorai and last longer plus you never need to trickle charge them :D
The Muscle Biker - I'll check them out! You don't need trickle charge the Shorai either, it's just if you want to maximize the life of the battery. What it does is actually deplete the battery to a lower level (I think 60%) as that's the supposed best level for a battery to be stored at for longevity.
The Muscle Biker - Just did a search for Supercell. Can't find them?
Best way to save weight. No gains
The intro itself deserves a like
Hey Motonosity can you do another dish washing liquid review?
I recomend you an akrapovic full exhaust system for your r6. Its amazing
I've heard to not run a li-ion battery when running a gy6 on the ruckus. the voltage regulator fluctuates and may overcharge it which can lead to a blown battery or fire
LMAO THAT HERO WARS GAME ADVERTISEMENT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE
love the intro!
Number 3. You were miss informed. In the UK it only has to be sold with the licence plate passed the rear tyre (same as USA) after sales, the consumer can fit tail tidys, fender eliminators etc etc
Nice video! love your new r6!
"Wizards all day everyday" sure motonosity sure ;)
i have and h2 and i test drove that after hearing you review honestly it just wasnt enough power it felt slow and the acceleration of the bike did too im 6'5 and could not sit on the bike comfortably glad the bike is a great fit for you but i could not own that motorcycle
love the intro
Great content! What about a license plate light do you have to use that in texas?
Man I love that A7Rii quality
+Seth King Need to bump it up a bit more with a new lens ;)
Motonosity Maybe a sigma 18-35? (; that's what I'm saving for!
I just got the same motorcycle last Saturday how many miles can we go after the gas light comes on?
If you were to choose between R1 or R6, which one and why?
Great Video!
What's the difference between a slip on exhaust and a full exhaust system ? Also does the full exhaust system come with a catalytic converter ? Isn't it bad for the environment not to have one ?
A slip on is just the canister at the end. I doubt it. Yes and also illegal in some places.
hi motonosity, i would like to know why your r6 look something like ''light blue'' color, here in my country is sold a little darker or is a camera configuration? love your videos
What cameras do you use in your videos?
The double tap to skip 10seconds helps with these in video ads. :)
Motonosity made some room for his coming dad bod on the R6.
discount code for the Shorai battery ?
What kind of brakes are on the new r6?
On my r1 I have a cabinet hinge on my licence plate so I can show it when I want to you should try it 😀
What
I'm watching now at 4th July😂🤝❣️
Will you be adding USB charging port as an early mod also? Saves weight by not needing to carry extra batteries.
Which do you like better, R1 or R6?
by japanese rider
I feel like I could better compare if I was comparing the R6 with a new R1, both with similar mods. At the moment, for my bikes, I think (and I'll get hate for this) I like the R6 more. It's that new new haha
Motonosity Ok!Thanks bro❗️
Happy 150 Canada Day my fellow Canadians!!!!
Cool video and great tips , thanks for sharing ...................... peace
From the UK. You don't have to have it in a certain place. Just has to be the right size.
If you change the full exhaust you need to tune your ECR accordingly.
#1 do your maintenance
#2 don't blow it up.
#3 don't spend money on parts you don't need cause then you won't have it when you need the $2k to rebuild my bike.
Danny Zappala do main mods in winter when you won't be riding
But I be riding in winter
You are the MrJWW of motocycles
How tall are you Motonosity? i'm 6ft5, and i'm wondering if i will fit on this new R6
nice stuff. I liked it
@motonosity when are u going to do twitch again
Another way to save weight: buy as much parts as you can, your wallet is lighter without cash.
Lithium *ion*, not iron battery. Abbreviated Li-Ion.
I go with sealed Gel battery, you don't have to worry about pouring acid either, but it's heavier than Li-Ion. Li-Ion is probably a lot more expensive. The sealed gel battery I picked up cost $82.
nice vid! oh the shorai battery is lithium ion not iron! :P
The here uk we dont have to have it in one position, i have an eliminator on both my bikes and some of my friends dont have one at all!
LMAO i tought that the intro was some kind of an ad hahahaha
Great video 🖒
Serious question: is it legal to run with no rear view mirrors? I'm in California
I like your video. it's helpful and funny
When he keeps on saying "shave" it sounds like hes saying "save" with a lisp lmao
I feel like all ur ideas are just as good as taking a shit. I mean I could go on a diet and loose more then that. Lol
first thing you do to loose weight on a motorcycle, have a game AD before the video..... for every moto vloger
I was literally thinking diet the whole time and was about to comment it but then you said it in the end lol
Number one way: lose weight yourself. Not sure how many overweight people I've seen trying to spend hundreds to save less weight than they release every time they use the restroom.
On that topic, number two: go number two.
You're very very generous with the amount of weight you're "pulling off" lol
What can I get if I remove the r6 mirrors to cover the holes?
Generally Europe sucks at this. You have to have even your signals in specific distance from each other to pass the bike check once a year.
AWESOME!!! thanks!!!
Intro was awesome, sponsorship ad was out of place.
Did I mention Intro was awesome?
