Thank you so much! I am working on a scarf that has the I-cord edge and I was following the directions on the pattern but it wasn’t working out. I appreciate you showing us how to do it right. Your directions were very clear.
Hi ! Thank you so much for your video 😄 I watched others from other videographers and couldn't understand the process (I need to understand to remember something), but thanks to yours I realized that it's just 3 stitches of double knitting at the beginning and end of the row, that's awesome 👍 Have a nice day 🌸💮🌺

I am going to add this I-cord to some slippers ❤
Would be nice as a hat brim.
Yes! It would make a lovely hat brim. :)
Really nice
When we bind off the peice do you need to do anything special at the icord edge to make it sit neatly?
Hi Rachael. Bind off stitches as they appear. So knit a knit stitch and purl a purl stitch. Cheers Jodie
Beautiful! ❤ Does it also work on stockinette?
I'm sorry for my late reply :) I'd assume it would work just as well on stockinette but I'm going to test it out just to be sure !
I've tested it out and yes the same technique I've shown in the video works on stockinette too.
thank you so much, i've pinned it for future projects :P @@knitlikegranny

@@jodiemorgan4267 I believe I will! I’ll be using it soon, can’t wait. Thanks again.
@@monave2938 Exciting! Let me know how you get on.
@@jodiemorgan4267 I shall☺️
@@jodiemorgan4267 Humm can I include a photo here? The I-cord is coming along nicely. I am attempting to make it wider, we’ll see how that goes.
