Thank you so much for talking about Seed Time! I just signed up and I can already see how helpful it will be. I struggle so much with knowing when to do what and I'm always behind. I'm planning things for fall/winter planting and hopefully I'll be on top of it now. Thank you!!!
I've been watching your videos for a little while now and finally decided to take the plunge and start my own garden. Just placed my order for my Greenstalk yesterday. Thank you so much for the coupon code.
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for NOT speaking slowly! My brain loves the tempo of delivery. (Honestly I didn’t even realize you were speaking “quickly” until the comments) 😂 Please keep the content coming!
Don’t slow down your videos (saw another comment). You are one of few I can watch on normal speed because you don’t stuff about or speak at the speed of snail to lengthen the video! Love your stuff
I'm an old lady who's been home gardening for years. However, the information you have just provided to those not so experienced at gardening in invaluable. I use seed time, the same seed storage containers, greenstalks for my strawberries and other of your systems, all great tools. You are amazing for figuring out how to do all this in a townhouse and on a deck and such an inspiration to those with not much space. Kudos to you. In some future year when you actually have your farm, not matter how small or large, you will be a great success.
We should all have our own garden! I just saw 2 separate articles about how lead exposure could be possible with canned veggies and how other foods that are packaged have “ FDA accepted bugs” in them!!
Dear Cassandra you bring so much joy to my days, I love the content of your videos, I learn so much from you. I too love canning, gardening and saving money, I love you, I feel I could be friends with you forever.
Omg it was so nice to see you in GreenStalk Magazine Just wanted to tell you congratulations for being in the GreenStalk Magazine 😊 I’m sure you were honored that they wanted you to be in there 😊💕
You are the most organized person on TH-cam. Smart to have your tools stored in your house. The seed vaults are cool. Are most of the seeds for your climate?
This is great information, thanks! I won't be able to buy a Green Stalk until July, but living in Georgia, I have the whole year for growing. Your tips are going to be really helpful! Thankfully, I have a really nice seed starting bench. A friend and I made it from a blueprint I ran across years ago. I have moved it with me quite a few times. I cannot wait to actually put it into use!
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I’ve bursted my garden this year. I’ve gotten three GreenStalks and a garden cart planter, added two more raised beds which doubles my garden bed space. I still plan to plant potatoes in my root bags but don’t know where I’ll put them. Seeing your methods really helps a lot. Don’t change a thing about your teaching style! You rock! ❤🤗
You amaze me! Great ideas as always. Looking forward to seeing how your growing season goes. You are glowing and seem to be doing well. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you sweet Cassandra.
Sweetheart, Where has this channel been all my life? I love and soak up every video. So glad that you are moving away from highly processed "trough" food to choose natural. Total new fan!
Hey, I loved seeing you in the Greenstalk magazine! I screamed and literally ran to show my husband 😂 I just planted out the cute pink tower and I will have 2 more coming once the mothers day sale starts. I love the tower covers and self watering hoses as well. Great video as usual and I always learn something from you. 💚🌱
I was equally excited to see her featured in the magazine. I have three Greenstalks and love them so much i am treating myself to another once when the mothers day sale starts.
Love my Green Stalk ! Unit #2 coming up during Mother's day sale, can't wait! Do wish I had a patio, with my TINY apartment but will make do with South facing windows and grow lights. Keep it up girl you're a great booster for the "farm" life. 💚
Nice organization 😎 I'll be happy when I can contain alla my gardening gadgets in one spot. That farmers almanac and greenstalk looks like something I need to add to my gardening collection 🌱 You're very inspiring, TFS!!
I love seeing your smiling face pop up on my feed. Also, thought it was hilariously cute how your assistant popped up like you were planting treat seeds. 😂
I love your videos as you present them!😊🫶🏽 Sooo, I broke down and bought my first greenstalk. It should be delivered later this week. I have a smaller backyard than my last house. Still a nice growing space. I’ll be going through my gardening tools and things and see how much I can downsize. Looking at your cabinet I thought. I think I have way too much stuff.😳 Thank you for sharing your process and methods. You are appreciated. I smiled when I saw Thor. I lost my bully baby in January.😊🫶🏽
I am a newbie with it all. 2 years ago I got as a gift my first tomato plant. I did not get many tomatoes but what I did they were delicious. Then later that year I got some plants for the home. I have killed some. Sigh, but I have learned from my mistakes. Last summer 2023 was the first time I did flowers in containers. I loved it!! This summer will be my first time with vegetables. I got some lettuce growing now. I don't have enough space to grow from seeds. I have to do transplants. I am scared but excited.
It’s so much fun and you have the right attitude. You’re gonna lose some along the way, the most experienced gardeners I know still lose some. Good luck and happy planting 🌱
Hi 👋. Glad I found your video. You covered a lot of information. I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm thinking about farming in a small space. I'm 101 and you were 501. However, when I start doing my homework and look at your video again, I'll probably will not be so clueless. Anyways, thank you for this great informative video.😊
My zone changed this year according to the usda zone maps. Was mid-panic as I was 2 months late getting my seeds started. Seedtime app popped up while I was researching the new zone and I have to say even the free version was a wonderful thing to find. Have settled into my crop rotation at this point panic gone. As always you give great ideas on how to organize my small space and it was great to see Troy trying for snuggles.
Thank you so much for this video! When I first started to learn about gardening because I got overwhelmed thinking about having to keep track of different plants and their specifics. This helped me so much and I know it’s going to help others too!😊💕
Hi. I am watching from New Zealand. We are already on our wee farm - 5acres. Being in our mid sixties my husband and I may have to look at moving back to town in the future (not yet). Your postings are giving lots of inspiration on how to grow a wide variety of food in a small area which I am finding exciting to plot and plan for when that time may arise.😊
You have proved that you don't need to go spend thousands of dollars and get a mortgage on acerage to grow alot of food ! Awesome am planning on doing something similar in my backyard with aquaponics
I really need to organize my garden storage. My stuff is all over the place. And it’s especially hard to get started since still rehabbing from my October knee replacement. By the time I find everything I need, I’m too exhausted to get started. So I do nothing 😅. I also like that you sort your seeds by season. Eye opener for me
Fabulous video!! Wonderful information. I live on over 17 acres, so I have a big garden, BUT I still grow in 2 Greenstalks. I love them. I use the regular size planter for my root crops, mainly potatoes and carrots. My other Greenstalk is the leaf planter, which I really love for my lettuce, spinach and other greens. Thanks again for the great info! ❤
You make great videos. It was fun to see how someone else organizes. Nope on the worm thing though. I just toss everything off my deck into a compost pile below.
You are an inspiration and a wonderful resource! Keep up the great work! I'm sure it takes a significant amount of time to make your videos. I really appreciate the effort. Go Seahawks!
Amazing amazing and fantastic and informational video! You said you would leave a link for your Excel spreadsheet for your gardening tips but I did not see that link. Also, where did you purchase your seed shelf?
@BecomingaFarmGirl I love the supports for your Greenstalk. Do you have a video I’ve missed that shows how to use them? Or maybe create a video showing things you do or use that they don’t offer yet. Loved seeing you in the Greenstalk magazine!
Omg you got a lot of gadgets for gardening…🤪 i just get some dirt and plant the seeds, that is it😂 i would never be able to plant my veggies if i had to get all that stuff…but good on you for doing it the way you like anyways
Since "Snow-mageddon" 2021, I do kamikaze gardening, plant and do what you can when you can and learn as you grow. 😊 Hinnt For planters: label/color/mark 1 plant pocket on the outside for orientation then left (counter clockwise) or right (clockwise) makes taking notes for me easier 😅 (i have wheels and i messed up my orientation once upon a time - and soil sticks went airborne)
Yay, thank you for sharing such great information! It's just what I needed to get me organized in time for my fall planting. Also, I don't see a link for your spreadsheet, which would greatly help me! I also noticed your website is not working. Thanks again for sharing so many great tips.
Hi Cassandra! 🤗 Another great video! I never thought to add my worm’s castings to my seed starting mix. Transplanting yes but not in my seed starter mix. Also, now you make me want to actually measure my worm farm output. 🪱 Have a good growing season! Cassandra 🌱
Hello. Enjoy ur videos. How do you control/prevent birds from attacking ur container vegetables? The birds actually robbed my 1st blueberry bush 😮😮😮!!! I've never really had many birds in my yard before. At 1st, it was fun watching them till I realized what they were doing. Soooo, this was a shocker for me. Look forward to any great suggestions. 😊
Hey, Cassandra! I’m doing my first year with Greenstalks and I am starting with 3 of them. I’m wondering if you use the plant supports and if you do, does one have to put them on when you set up the tower or can they be added after the growth needs the extra support? I’m loving just going to my back deck and grabbing what I need from what I’m loving referring to my “deck garden”. Such fun! 😊 Thank you for all your encouragement, enthusiasm and support!
Just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos! Completely new to vertical gardening and may have to give it a try because of you! Quick question, where did you get your green dress? The one with buttons and a v-neck. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Enjoying your videos and am a new subscriber! 🪴
Too funny! I have over 40 raised veggie beds, a very large herb garden and a cutting garden and i use EXACTLY the same system (except for the photo cases..i have too many seeds:) i even built my own app to do what the gardening app you share does. We definitely think alike! Did you state you have to input your home address to the seedtime app or zipcode only? I appreciate the information you provide & we can all learn from different styles from others. Thank you!
With the container gardening, do you reuse your soil? I read that you can sterilize your soil and then add/mix some fresh compost and fertilizer for the next season. I'm on a budget and wonder if you ever tried this method?

Love that you separate your seed packets by what month you want to plant them by. I may need to steal that idea!
Don’t slow down your videos (saw another comment). You are one of few I can watch on normal speed because you don’t stuff about or speak at the speed of snail to lengthen the video! Love your stuff
Agreed!
I speak very quickly and I am always being told to slow down. I can't. That's how fast I think. But the video can be slowed down.

I concur! I use the playback speed all the time, when needed.

Your seed starting segment at the end is SO good! Unsolicited advice, I would say copy that segment and post as a stand alone video and a short.
I love your style! Keep being you!
I am presently trying to get started. Thank you for all your encouragement and support through your channel.

I love your videos!!!@
I absolutely adore your videos!!! Just planted my spring GS.
Seed time is nice but the bells and whistle version was pretty expensive if I remember correctly.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I am so happy to see this video! Thank you :)
Love your channel. I've learned so much from you😊
Hey, Cassandra!
Such fun! 😊
Thank you for all your encouragement, enthusiasm and support!
You are amazing how did you know I needed that!
Cassandra you are a wealth of information. This is a great system. Where did you find the plant stand for you trays? Looks handy. Have a great week.
Ok found the rack on amazon.
love it!
Just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos! Completely new to vertical gardening and may have to give it a try because of you! Quick question, where did you get your green dress? The one with buttons and a v-neck. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Enjoying your videos and am a new subscriber! 🪴
Wow! Very Impressive!!!
Do you have issues with animals like squirrels, geckos , rabbits? If not, how would you address the issue?
Wow! That was mind blowing 😍
Hi! I was just wondering if you linked the spreadsheet? I don’t see it.
And this is very meticulous thank you!!
Too funny! I have over 40 raised veggie beds, a very large herb garden and a cutting garden and i use EXACTLY the same system (except for the photo cases..i have too many seeds:) i even built my own app to do what the gardening app you share does. We definitely think alike! Wish the app had been available when i started gardening...for me scheduling was always the hardest part, but now i am invezted in the one i built it would be too hard to transition. Does it then work in reverse to tell you when to harvest and when to sow for season extension or succession planting?
BTW I ordered three greenstalks for this season based on your recommendation and becky's from acre homestead. Cant wait to try them out for an easily accessible kitchen garden! My main garden is for food preservation as i have a medical condition called MCAS that makes most store bought food off limits. Never too old to learn new tricks!
Do you have a link for your seed rack? That is amazing and would be perfect for my spare room, pantry, office, plant room!
Great video! Thank you
Did you state you have to input your home address to the seedtime app or zipcode only?
I appreciate the information you provide & we can all learn from different styles from others. Thank you!
Thanks for the great info! I'd love to know where you got the collapsible garden racks. Thanks!
With the container gardening, do you reuse your soil? I read that you can sterilize your soil and then add/mix some fresh compost and fertilizer for the next season. I'm on a budget and wonder if you ever tried this method?
