    What a great way to introduce students of Russian to home-related vocabulary and connect all the dots (pronunciation, spelling, images, and context)! Thank you! --

    As always nice Video! But I would have preferred if the whole video was spoken in russian ;)

    • @AmazingRussian
      @AmazingRussian  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I can speak Russian through the video, but will you understand the concept if you are still learning basics? I doubt.

      @@AmazingRussian I started with your old videos and I loved the fact that you were speaking only russian in your videos. It made you kind of special among all the other russian teach channels. I felt fully immersed when hearing only russian when learning russian. I wouldnt otherwise have known what all the correct grammar vocabulary which you could also use in the wild with russian speakers. It is worth the effort for the learners.
      For videos like these the immersion is discontinued and I cant just listen to them while doing chores or being stuck on the way to work.
      I think the concept will still come across :)
      I cant even imagine how much effort these videos mean, you are still the best in this regard. believe me I am crazy when in comes to russian learning.
      Dont get me wrong videos with so much english in them are also good for watching at least once or a couple of times but your russian only Videos are worth listening to hundreds of times. My russian wouldnt be the same without these videos
      This text got kinda long sorry for that I just wanted to explain why this might be so important

    *I have a question: In America and some other countries, "the first floor" means exactly that. However, in some European countries, such as Germany, they say "das Erdgeschoß " (the ground floor), so that "the first floor" is actually what Americans call "the second floor." How is it in Russia?*

    • @AmazingRussian
      @AmazingRussian  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you mean the basement as the ground floor, in Russian - подвал. The main floor - первый этаж.

    • @519djw6
      @519djw6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your quick reply! Actually, I did not mean the basement. That would be the floor *beneath* the first floor. In any case, I assume that Russians use the same designation as Americans for "the first floor." (If you ever go to Germany, this distinction between the "first floor" and "the ground floor" can be very confusing!) Большое спасибо!
