I wonder the rules suddenly changed but for your it is normal but for learners it is a shock! A learner always looks for a reason ! You just go on without any explanation that why the form changed !
In this video, I follow the same rules of choosing imperfective-perfective verbs as choosing between two future tenses. -I stated this in the video. At this level, you should be familiar with those. If not, familiarize yourself with the concept of the verbal aspect.
