What’s the name of the piece of plastic part you removed that hid all the wires under the frame? I want to buy that plastic piece so I can undo my wire tuck.
I love do customs I’ve been running their torque inserts on my softail till I get money for a proper exhaust. Turns out the powder coat only last a few hours when it’s put against an exhaust lol

I do like the coil relocated and ignition. not a fan of the speedometer as putting it down you have to take your eyes off the road somewhat. looking good. I have an 883 my son and I work on 2014. we did the 883 to 1200 conversion with SE. it is a completely different bike. not sure on the elevated tank either. I know to each his own. just looks odd with it up and high. cool on dk customs though. nice stuff.

It does, and is recommended against if you’re just swapping bars. But I’ll be putting a new reservoir and lines on the bike, so doesn’t matter that I’ve left it hanging on this build 👍🏼

I really need to do a gauge relocation on my Dyna. I have 8” risers and some z bars. My gauges are on my top clamp so it’s sticking WAY up there. Looks goofy.
Damn now I want a Sportster. I love the Iron 1200. Just curious when you relocated the coil and switch where did you move the horn? Also how hard is it to see the speedo after moving it? Where did the factory move the ecu from the fender on the later ones?
Dumb question: Is there an after-market speedometer that you could mount on the tank? Or does the gas cap location negate that option, if it exists? I have no issue with where you're putting the speedometer, as that's where it was on your previous Iron and I liked it there. The "Unicorn" explanation made a lot or sense, too. Thanks! ✌️ (PS - I loved the music! As an aside, there was a bank commercial that had similar music like what you used for your Key West trip a year or so ago. Everytime I saw that ad and heard the music, I was back in Key West. Haha! You've got good taste in music. Keep up the great work!)

Cool build I have watched and read the official rules,I am a minor but have always wanted a bike,especially a Harley but never was able to afford one due to well being a minor of course! If I where to send in a letter would it halve to be under my parents name and not mine? I have read the official rules and unfortunately neither of my parents have their motorcycle endorsement,I don’t either since I haven’t even got my drivers license yet and I’m not 18 yet,would that pose a problem?

Biltwell makes some nice ones. I'd look on jp cycle or revzilla so you can choose your measurements for what you'd think is comfy. Hope this helps
