Carlos had an exceptional nose. He could feel distinguished scents, could describe a fragrance in a plain way, yet precisely, that very few people can.

I got a sample of this from a boutique today, and wow!!! This is a super stunning scent that I can only describe as "beautiful". My wife and I love this. Hoping to get it for my birthday. It's a definite gem.

This lovely gourmand is unisex n safe to wear in most settings, day or evening. 540 can be worn dressed up or dressier casual. I prefer 540 over the extrait released in August. My bottle is half empty so I pulled out other gems. Happy 2018 guys!

This is my favorite 2017 purchase and is becoming my nightout signature scent and special ocassion signature scent. Even my wife wears it now!!!! I want to be known by this scent (which is hard, since I own over 200 fragrances). But is the fragrances that has Wow me the most in the past 5-6 years, is that good. The EDP is 100 times better than the Extrait. THe EDP last around 14 hours on my skin, projects for about 10 hours with 6-7 sprays. Its in the same BEAST MODE category as Interlude man. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this, Marc!

I couldn’t agree more, I own and love this one. It’s light but at the same time very noticeable. My wife typically doesn’t appreciate my heavier fragrances but she loves this and I’m sure it’s the light weight of it.

And the fact that it’s present but not “in your face” makes it even more special, considering it’s such a unique fragrance. 😊

I don't know if Maison had some inspiration from some other fragrance for rouge 540, but I had a girlfriend 20 years ago who smelled like this. I have no idea what it was. But as soon as I sampled Baccarat, it automatically took me back 20 years, that how strong this fragrance is.
So magical. It's so light and transparent yet present. I can spray on in the morning, get wafts far into the night and still smell it on my skin when I wake up in the morning. Really amazing.
It's amazing how this scent performs.
One of my favorites and will always be in my collection,i get almost a full day of wear

I was fricken super super lucky to get 5 bottles of the e trait and EDP @ clearance prices.... [sadly a store went bankrupt].... I have enough juice for 30 years- LoL!!!! For me, strangely enough, I gravitate towards the EDP over the Extrait- no joke! I really reaLly understand your viewpoint Carlos.....🤙🏼

I have both the extrait and the edp and im getting the body oil in the mail in a few days. But i reach for the extrait a little more. Mainly because i enjoy the bitter almond scent in it more and the fact that i only need like 2 sprays. Im excited to get the body oil because I think its going to layer really well with extrait and give it a little more "pop" and maybe help me change it up a little, to not get bored of the regular br540 scent. The edp I enjoy but i do get an unusual dry down scent that just throws my nose off. I get a metal accord in the dry down and im not going to say its unpleasant in which most cases it is, but its not horribly bad in br540. Its synthetic ingredients do stand out in the opening as well as in the dry down. Theres ambroxan for sure, but other than that its a great fragrance, i never thought id love any other fragrance as much as my aventus but br540 is up there with it. Great quick review and good job guys.
I really agree with you guys. Its beautiful and it lingered all day. I wore the jacket 3 days later still I could smell it. So sweet but not heavy. Thank you guys xox

3 biggest reviewers combined in one video 👍👍! Love the scent. Got two samples of this and gave it to my Wife since she liked it after trying. Performance is awesome as I get wafts of it throughout the time she is wearing it and even after more than 8 hours and sometimes even in humid and warm environment. Thinking of giving her a bottle on her birthday in March and maybe sneak a spray or two every now and then.
Tried Oud & Bergamot over the weekend and I detect similar sweet notes in it even though they are really different scents. Do you guys also get this?

M J Parfums De Marley Delina & Tiziana Terenzi Andromeda. Maison Lancôme Oud Bouquet is pretty much tied up there as well.
Armani Privé Rouge Malachite is also phenomenal

Smells like luxurious cotton candy to me, love the opening and mid so much!!
Sadly the synthetics are a little harsh on my sensitive nose and am not a fan of the dry down.
Doesn't justify a bottle for me, but I will always make sure to have at least a sample of this just bcos of the lovely cotton candy.

Yasss...definitely ...well on the killian...its a 50-50 for me...I like some aspects of it and some that I don't.. I loved Aventus until I smell Roja's Elysium... but your top 3 are spot on

Elysium smells like Aventus. Just fresher.
I own both and side by side Elysium gives me daytime while Aventus nighttime vibes.
Finally bought one after buying 20 ml decants four times. I just love the smell and I get a lot of comments. So I figured.....go'n get a real bottle for yourself ! I would also recommend Profumum Roma from Italy (so test them ... I have 7 of them).

I bought Baccarat Rouge the instant I smelled it.
My only problem is that people around me never compliment me although I can smell the cologne and I know it is projecting. This is the case will all my colognes.

MFK BR540 is a total 💎💎💎 I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. And the lack of compliments.....more often than not,most guys are too prideful to compliment a nice smelling gentleman and women are afraid that them complimenting a man will be mistaken for flirting. Nonetheless,MFK BR540 EDP is my signature scent!
Trust me, they can smell you thy just jealous or too shy to compliment
I’ve been to Neiman Marcus to smell the Extrait version of this, personally I like the original one much better than the Extrait. The Eu de Parfum is the one I have and love it. As dradoc said on his channel this stuff is like “Catnip” to women.
What does this smell like?
Would you say it approaches gourmand? Many people say "sweet" when reviewing it. Also everyone to the person says they love it. Is it really that good? How prevalent is the saffron? waiting for my sample. I need to find a signature scent again, for a while it was Bvlgari Aqva which I still love (the darker blue bottle). I smelled someone wearing a beautiful fresh/herbal/fruity scent that was mixed with his natural smell and it was so amazing, I decided I needed to continue my hunt for a good signature fragrance that is not too heavy and very light/unique. I hope I can find the one I smelled that day because it literally changed how I thought about fragrances forever.

I love it, I had it for a while until my Wife took it from me. I will purchase again, its my second most expensive cologne $300 after Creed Aventus.

Carlos said exactly what I said the very first time I try it. It has a burnt sugar smell to it. But it’s in a good way. I’ve never had a burnt sugar smell that was good. It’s so unique. It’s really worth the price tag and I can’t say that many other perfumes are.. As much as I like lost cherry I wouldn’t pay that price for it. But I’m willing to purchase this

Hello, great respect for your work and knowledge! As a recent fragrance lover with not much experience, I have tried Baccarat Rouge 540 on a test strip and I was like " What!! I smell only alcohol with a hint of sugar." Next day I have tried it on the skin and same again. And I was like " Crazy youtubers and their nose" 😁 And few hours later a hint of Ambergris, and I was like "what. I am hallucinating" and the smell was with me the next day. I am now in love. 😁

Honestly i was so excited to smell and really wanted it to be my signature perfume but when i did I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED its not unique or magical it smelled like any other perfume nothing special so i really don't understand the hype over it as it is a VERY expensive perfume
The intense one smelled nice but not to the point of buying it and also it doesn't last at all.

Oooo snap snap snap, I'm freaking out. 3 of my favs aaaaah and my fav cologne BCR540. I sampled the extrait from luckyscent before dua's and finally the original. Just got another sample from osswald of extrait and I smell it all different.but I prefer extrait I got 12hrs projection off my skin. I like grand soir

I got a sample of it but I could not smell anything when I sprayed it on my clothes and skin. Only a little while after I could get small wiffs that I sprayed on my jacket but the way people are hyping this up to be a projection monster I just don't get it. Whenever I spray it I cannot smell a damn thing it hurts cos I wanna know what it smells like lol.

Oh my gosh! I just fell in love with this. So many beauty youtubers talking about it. So I got a sample all the way from France. My husband just got this for me for our 22nd wedding anniversary. I didn't think I would like it because many times, to me anyway, it seems popular perfumes are heavier / stronger than I would like. I like the sweetness and the lightness of this perfume. I prefer the EDP than the extrait.

This thing has a sweet and luxurious vibe to it. Oddly, it is sweet but not really sweet. The sweet is most pronounced the first 15 minutes or so, but then somehow transform into something more elegant.
