Not impossible. He plays with his index finger on the D-Pad and his thumb on the control stick (PS controller). It's very weird at first but if you get used to it it's a lot easier to style switch.

That's my weakest point right now k cant seem to integrate into the combat when I try to use I get to focused on it and end up waiting for the enemy to hit me instead of attacking or not switching back from other styles. My timing needs to improve too besides that I got the other 3 down just need to add weapon switching mid combat more !
