I posted a comment separate to this, but more people might read it here as a reply. You can use a UV light bulb to disinfect surfaces, it will work on fabrics, woods, plastics pretty much any surface. You just need to get a UV bulb and put it into a lamp that directs the light in one direction and leave it in the light for a couple hours. Make sure that you place the object you want to clean with UV light on a garbage bag or something dark colored like a towel or something, as UV light can make whites brighter, and it can also change the color of counter tops. So make sure the face cover is placed on top of something else first. here is a link if anyone is curious to do some more research! www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-clean-with-uv-light/

1:40 I found that the best solution for cleaning the facial interface is to have a ton of 91% isopropyl alcohol, and a ton of paper towels. Soak the foam in isopropyl, soak it back out with paper towels, rinse and repeat until the whole thing comes off clear. I'm a very sweaty boy, so I had to do this for my Samsung Oddysey+ at only 350 hours in. But once I put the time and materials into it the foam was right back to Day-1 quality. It started getting disgusting again at ~550 hours though and I ordered the O+ VRCover, eliminating the problem completely via pleatherette. Give it a try, it's completely safe as it doesn't use soaps or anything harmful to fabric/foam, and if you try to use it just after cleaning your eyes get squeaky clean too, at the cost of stinging.
Sanitizer Tablets are another option, that is vastly more effective at killing the bugs. Unlike alcohol, it will kill mold and viruses. you can get a bottle of tablets for less than 8$ and that will make hundreds of gallons of cleaning solution.
@@spoonikle The issue, is that most cleaning solutions will disintegrate the foam material over time and washes. It might be fine to use a sanitizer tablet to clean it once or twice, but come the fourth, fifth, sixth cleaning the foam will disintegrate more and more, to the point where the padding starts losing its plush and eventually becomes little more than a piece of fabric that sits between the compact mush that used to be foam and you. Not to mention, there is the fact that it is Isopropyl is very toxic, unlike the Beryl alcohol we normally drink, and makes a great disinfectant, while being generally unreactive to anything it touches, unlike bleaches or soaps. good news about the VR cover being out is that if you are crafty you can sew yourself together another cloth set for those particularly sweaty games, velcro that on. Once done with your sweat sessions, just toss that into the wash every now and again. boom best of both worlds.
I've used the VR Cover PU Leather replacement gasket on my Rift CV1 with their Cloth VR Covers to help wick sweat away from my face; a good compromise to avoid the sweat sponge. I have a bunch of the covers and swap them frequently, the hold up well in the washing machine in low heat on a gentle wash.
Oh? I completely missed the news on this. Thank you for the coverage, I am excited to get my hands on these covers. As comfortable as the standard index covers may be for most people, they fit absolutely horribly on my face, pushing down hard on my cheekbones. Talking and smiling would be painful and I would get immense headaches for hours after just 45 to 60 minutes of usage. I might have spent less than 10 hours with my Index in total before I put it on a shelf and switched back to my Vive. No other VR headset gave me any issues like this. Really hoping the VRCover alternative will make the Index actually useable for me.
wearing a bandanna or something thin takes care of the headsweats pretty well. way easier to wash and WAY cheaper to replace when they get kinda funky.
Having a Rift S, Valve Index, and Vive Cosmos Elite, I actually found that the Index was by far the least comfortable. It was evidently made for much larger heads than mine, and with my small head, it puts a lot of pressure on my sinuses (while simultaneously not fitting tightly enough to not slide around), causing me to quickly develop a pretty bad headache. The included padding for the rear of the headset unfortunately only makes that problem worse. The Rift S was the most comfortable for me, but I use the Cosmos Elite the most due to the relatively good comfort, better resolution and refresh rate, and the ability to use the valve knuckle controllers with it natively.
Ok, company’s that make VR cover masks, I have what I would consider to be a damn good idea to improve the face mask and solve the problem found in this video. So there are memory foam pillows that can be put in the washer and dryer, just do the same thing with the face cushions. Make them washer and dryer safe and also add the fabric so it will still soak up sweat. Your welcome in advance
they should just have a machine washable cloth gasket. should come in like 6-10 in a pack. So when ever one gets dirty, put it in with the other dirty laundry and use a different one while that gets washed.
Maybe one could wear like a balaclava or something underneath the leather interface. That might soak up some sweat and would be machine washable. Of course it would probably add a degree of insulation and exacerbate the sweating situation. What I think I'd want personally is a cushion layer that is resistant to filth, like the leather one here, and an additional washable cloth layer specifically crafted to be the shape of the interface (rather than a full on balaclava or whatever).

I'm a furry (unpopular I know) but to keep or foux fur fursuits from getting nasty we use fursuit spray to kill bacterial buildup and apply a nice scent. This stuff is made with a mixture of water (as a disolvent) vinegar (as a bacterial killer) isopropyl alcohol (for disinfectant and bacterial killer) and essential oils for scent of choice. This is safe for all materials and prevents the buildup of what you described as bio-juices. Hope you try this and I hope it works! Either way, I'll be getting my own Index here soon and plan on using my spray to avoid the face panel getting nasty.
Thanks for a review that doesn't shy away from the nastier issues! As somebody who sweats a lot, and really loves playing Beat Saber, I'm probably better off just ordering a double pack of the official ones to swap out.
This was one of the biggest problem with the cheaper Windows MR headset I had. Every time I had to take off the headset and would just stop playing, because I’m not a fan of having my cold sweat greeting me when I come back.
Just use thin silicone cover. There are plenty at all the major wholesale websites. Cheap, clean easily does not take away softness of index face cover. Yeah, bit sweaty, but I just use a piece of paper towel on my headset to prolong my gaming sessions and I sweat a lot.
Thank you for making such great informative videos ive been interested in vr for a while and after recently upgrading my pc i am looking to save up to buy a index and cant wait till i finally can join the vr crowd
I'll definitely give this a shot. Because the lenses touch my eyebrows, the Index isn't as comfortable as my Vive all decked out with VR covers on both front and back. Maybe this will help with that.
I love when people talk the index headset getting sweaty. Try the vive pro, it's a sweat sponge. I used the VR cover for the index and hated it. It always stuck to my face
It could happen, because this material doesn't breath at all. It's not so much the sweat literally dripping, but more so the sweat becoming gaseous and causing humidity to build up within the lenses.
The first thing I did before even purchasing the headset, was getting sweatbands for my head. I haven't played once without and never had to deal with this issue (yet anyway). I have sweaty hands and use deodorant on my hands, so my controllers stay clean too.
I've learned this trick from a guy that was doing MTB a lot and his shoes used to smell like shit. Get the water purification tablets, they contains silver ions so they kill all bacteria within the water, just dissolve the amount it needs for a bowl of water, dip your foam part in it, and let it sit for a while. Then take it out, hang it and let it dry completely. One important thing, do not rinse it with clean water after soaking. It should kill all bacteria and smell, i used to do this with smelly slippers :)
Dude, I just wash the index's facemask with lukewarm water and handsoap. Works like a charm for months, no issues. Dab with towel and air dry for 4 hours. Easy peasy
Personally, after about 350 hours with mine, my face gasket gets a little bit irritating BUT I really like how mine fits. Mine hasn't worn at all and I don't break out like you said you have. Perhaps more wear will change that. I may get the the PU leather face gasket though just to see if I'm missing out. The difference for me from the Vive original to the Index was a huge difference so maybe the leather will suit me even better.
For the PU leather cover, have a decent sized, cut cloth or rag, it would REALLY help, especially several layers of rags/cloths cut the same way. I live in a poor family so I really can't test this myself as I don't have a VR headset quite yet, but that would seem like the obvious thing to do because you can wash the rags/cloths. But, then again, you're more of an expert with VR than me, so Idk lmao
@@fleurdeliseffxiv1580 Somewhat same result here. The padding needs to be tripled. That stuff feels like a sliver of memory foam which immediately compresses to a nano-meter of padding. You can feel the weight of the Index digging into your forehead. For the time being, I've taken those additional pads designed to fit on the sides and crammed them under the upper center to add padding.
Have you thought about killing bacteria by cooking the mask as a low temp then flash freezing it in the freezer? I believe this would solve the Mask issue of bacteria.
I wonder when a "gel pad" will come out. Most Tactical headsets like Peltor Comtacs have Gelpads to give the best seal while not pressing and are horribly comfortable to wear for hours on and on. Dont keep sweat. Just clean off and done
It's definitely a difficult problem to solve. You want something cool and breathable enough that it doesn't make you sweat, but not so porous that it gets gross. Not sure that we'll see a true solution to this for some time. Probably will need some materials engineers to cook up some crazy new plastic fiber.
Thrillseeker I wanna point out that I've bought the vrcover for the index but I also bought the cloth cover and I'm using it in combo with the comfort PU leather and if feels really really good. The stock index foam still feels the best but it definitely is a close second and the cloth cover can be washed and the pu leather can be wiped down. You should try that combo since you've got the cloth cover and report back what you think!
WaqMan VR because it feels nicer. Der. Complaining that a bit of fabric doesn’t feel nice that you’ve pressed up to your sweating face for 1000 is dumb. Obviously it’s going to get nasty
That's exactly why, because people sweat and they've come to a conclusion that most people wouldn't want sweat running down their face. I'm one of such people myself.
You could use alcohol on tissue paper (make sure not to apply immediately wait like 1 hour before putting the tissue paper with alcohol on it) and take the interface off and just rub it then use a cloth to dry it and remove the alcohol in it (wait like 5 mins tho) and it should be good!
i've been wearing headphones for at least 10 or so years for 5-6 hours a day and I can say without a doubt that leather is almost always hotter and more uncomfortable than material. The material usually breathes more and doesn't heat up your face. I found with headphones that, after wearing for hours with leather pads I would often experience sweating just from having it on. I can only imagine what that would be like having it on your face while you're essentially doing aerobics. I personally would prefer to just replace the gasket with the valve one when mine gets nasty.
I agree with this, the cloth VR cover is keeping my face gasket clean enough and isn't uncomfortable at all. Only gripe is that you have to lift up the bottom edges before putting it on or they slide down over time. I hated the leather one's I got for the Vive. I only really play beat saber and such and use VR as a place to burn some calories so it's a sweat fest every time I put it on. Just fork over 40 bucks for 2 new gaskets and they will last you an insanely long time if you clean them in turns with alcohol every now and then. Well worth the money. Also handwash with baby shampoo cleans the gasket surface and cloth vr covers nicely and smells nice too.
I just bought extra gaskets from valve then anytime someone comes over everyone gets a fresh gasket and when they stop playing we just wash it with water n a bit of soap every now and then and let it dry before use again and that has worked amazing for us no smell
Love your vids, not only are they relaxing to watch but helpful too! I have a question btw Does the index’s interface leave marks on your head after 10 mins of use like other headsets?
I certainly wouldn't have marks after only 10 minutes, but like any other it will still leave those red marks after extended use. Personally I find it's fairly light on the marks in most cases. I can come out of an 8 hour session and the marks won't be too bad and will clear up fairly fast. This is as different for each user though, as it is for each headset. My Vive never left much marks either. I'd also note that it's worth while to see if it's possible to personally modify the fit of any headset if experiencing any discomfort. And I only mean very simple things. My Vive for example used to rest too much weight on my cheeks and not enough on the brow. My solution was to place a rolled up sock, later using a small bean bag instead, just under the front of the top strap. This lifted the front in a way that adjusting the strap didn't, redistributed the facial weight, and moved some of the weight to my upper forehead/skull rather than face. A simple mod that dramatically improved comfort for me. When my Index arrived I had the opposite problem. Too much pressure on the brow, and almost no weight on the cheek line, resulting in a weird fit. The less obvious solution I eventually found, was adding more padding to the lower half of the rear strap that cups the back of the head. I simply took a microfibre cloth and wrapped it round to bulk up that part of the strap a little, making it fit my headshape better and giving me more freedom to adjust the front.
Easy solution: make the cloth attached with velcro so you can take it off and throw it in the washing machine, that way it soaks up sweat and can be easily washed and dried
@@MrJohnny05 Well the fabric is supposed to be anti microbial. I always dry it with a towel or put it in front of my fan, it's been over a month and no smell, despite pouring buckets of sweat into it
IMO, the VRCover interface itself is too thin, and not comfortable, with or without the wedges. I'm using the 16mm VRCover gasket intended for the Vive Pro, and it feels much better. I can still get the lenses close enough to touch my face, so I'm not losing any FOV with it.
So you will either use a foam that soaks up sweat (gross) And is hard to clean off bactriria. Or a leather which dosent soak up sweat (not nice) but easy to clean.
@@ThrillSeekerVR that sounds cool, with that addon it might maybe makr the original foam "obsolete" if the new one offers easier cleaning and soaking up sweat. I play vr from time to time like when i boot it up its 3 hours Maybe, having sweat running on my headset or face would not be likeable. Having a anti sweat and comfortable plus easy to clean cover couldnt get any better, would buy. Thank for responding and good videos. :-)
Soak your cover overnight in a small container of 1 part vinegar, 3 parts water. Vinegar is a natural acid that is very popular in neutralizing bacteria and odors without drying out or damaging fabrics.
@@TechnologistAtWork The smell completely goes away after drying. That's why people have been using it to clean for thousands of years. Just ask your mom, and try using it to clean for yourself every once in a while.
I actually prefer cloth, yeah its more difficult to clean, but also not impossible. Pleather on the other hand is not only less comfortable, it actually irritates my skin, combined with the fact that I sweat a lot and my skin also hates my sweat, I prefer washing the memory foam.
Thanks Thrill! Really helped me out on what to buy there. As soon as I saw the new cover on the website, I were unsure on what to buy now. But now I guess the full replacement is really the best option for me. After trying multiple options to get rid of that stench from my gasket, I just wanted to buy 2 new ones of Valve themselves. But that wouldn't change the fact that it would be like that again in the future. Thanks for the advice there ~
I don't like the PU leather because the welded seams dig into my face and makes it uncomfortable. For cleaning, beside soap and water I use a UV-C lamp to kill germs. Works great, no smell. (Use with care! UV-C is very dangerous for eyes and skin!)
That's not a sponsor lmao. I recommended a product I used and enjoy the company behind it and if someone wants to support me through the link you can, if they don't want to then that's equally fine.
A sponsor is when the company reach out to you, and pays you to review their product. Affiliate links is just a marketing programme that gives people discounts when used. Just about every other site who sell their products like this will often have affiliate links.
I thought you were going to carp about the price, but this is pretty bad too. I think there should be a few options available that would make the experience more hygienic, especially since it's going to be shared among friends and family. I used to soak my canvas shoes in water and put them in the microwave to steam the microbes to death, which was important since I never wore socks. Maybe you could try that?
Question: With my index I have a big problem of it just being too small. Apparently I have a giant face. Is this bigger or smaller, because at least with the wedges it looks even smaller than the original to me.
Are these angled the same way as the original ones or did they take the oppotunity to remove some of the material from the bottom of the cover, so we can see more when looking down?
Looking for help with my index. Right ear audio either cuts out completely or sticks at fifty percent volume. Dont know what I did I've played it pretty normally pulled it off once on accident by stepping on the cord but that's it. Any fixes? Think valve will send me a new ear or cord or something? It's incredibly annoying
@@deliriousvrc5252 I suppose there's no harm in doing it to the old one, but it's not really guessing. The effects of high temperatures and detergents on memory foam are already plenty well understood. Any memory foam product you ever buy will warn you against such methods of cleaning on the labels/packaging.
They do, but they expressly tell you not to wash because if they would told you that you can they would be responsible for a large number of rma parts that are simply worn out from use. You cannot rma a t shirt but on electronics you have to have a certain length of warranty... Just my guess.

This was one of the biggest problem with the cheaper Windows MR headset I had. Every time I had to take off the headset and would just stop playing, because I’m not a fan of having my cold sweat greeting me when I come back.
I bought their washable covers bc I like the cloth feeling better
the way he says pleather makes me uncomfortable
He says PU leather (what it says on be cover) it’s just another word for pleather same as faux leather :)
As Deadwarrior said, he's saying PU Leather, which is short for polyurethane leather
@@Josh_dbg yeah it's faster to say pleather instead if pu leather
Just use thin silicone cover. There are plenty at all the major wholesale websites. Cheap, clean easily does not take away softness of index face cover. Yeah, bit sweaty, but I just use a piece of paper towel on my headset to prolong my gaming sessions and I sweat a lot.
me after video: "oh hm wow seems pretty nice"
me after going to the buy link: "$40? WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A DAMN FACE COVER"
@@user-yj8yt4xh3u at least the headset is worth the money. The face cover alone should be like $20
@@Dalrae Since you get 2 covers for 40$, doesn that means it is exactly the price yo uwant?
that`s how much valve charges for 1 inferior replacement
Thank you for making such great informative videos ive been interested in vr for a while and after recently upgrading my pc i am looking to save up to buy a index and cant wait till i finally can join the vr crowd
Get a kiwi fan radiator. I never turn it off. My headset is always cool. It also expands the life of the headset.
The leather would make more heat build up.
Vrcover makes a cloth cover to allow for machine washing, plus breathable material.
Matteo311 yeah man when my wife went to play Beat Saber after me on our Vive Pro she was like, “Geez, babe... this thing is NOT dry” lol
Do you feel the sweat will drip to the HMD and kill it ? For extreme setting.
don't take a bath with it
It could happen, because this material doesn't breath at all. It's not so much the sweat literally dripping, but more so the sweat becoming gaseous and causing humidity to build up within the lenses.
Yes, I have seen first hand more than one headset (HTC Vive) killed due to extreme sweat. Not sure if this is the same with the index though.
PSA: Buy some sweatbands to extend the life of your face gaskets even longer.
The first thing I did before even purchasing the headset, was getting sweatbands for my head. I haven't played once without and never had to deal with this issue (yet anyway). I have sweaty hands and use deodorant on my hands, so my controllers stay clean too.
If your leather face pad is soaked and sticky, maybe take a 20 minute break and, I don’t know, talk to your family again.
Lol
Easy peasy
dude you can go 4 hours without vr
I can’t wait to get my index!!
Yes, you can and will wait. Just like me :)
@Spariton what

it looks like the lil robots are bleeding cola
im bouta be a vampire then
I came back to this video just to click on your affiliate link, cuz I'm about to try and buy a Valve Index tomorrow morning!
You're amazing. Thank you 😊
Personally, after about 350 hours with mine, my face gasket gets a little bit irritating BUT I really like how mine fits.
But, then again, you're more of an expert with VR than me, so Idk lmao
i literally just bought this like 2 days ago, if i wouldve seen your video then i wouldve used your link. cant wait for it to get here
it sucks i got it and its just terrible on your face waste of money
@@fleurdeliseffxiv1580 Somewhat same result here. The padding needs to be tripled. That stuff feels like a sliver of memory foam which immediately compresses to a nano-meter of padding. You can feel the weight of the Index digging into your forehead. For the time being, I've taken those additional pads designed to fit on the sides and crammed them under the upper center to add padding.
@@shinnou1 I actually have some really good aftermarket vive face cushions that i was planning on using instead of the ones they provide
Honestly the biggest problem is the price, but I guess making it more comfortable is always good as well.
One made of a towel like material would probably be nice. You could buy a few of them and wash them regularly.
Probably will need some materials engineers to cook up some crazy new plastic fiber.
watching a lot of index vids cuz imma bout to get one cuz I need an upgrade
Thrillseeker I wanna point out that I've bought the vrcover for the index but I also bought the cloth cover and I'm using it in combo with the comfort PU leather and if feels really really good. The stock index foam still feels the best but it definitely is a close second and the cloth cover can be washed and the pu leather can be wiped down. You should try that combo since you've got the cloth cover and report back what you think!
if i get an index, i definitely will use the leather like i do with my cv1
I'm not sure why they would even use fabric when it's obvious people would sweat in VR.
How would you wash the quest’ default face cover? I really don’t know. Could you make a video on it?
You could use alcohol on tissue paper (make sure not to apply immediately wait like 1 hour before putting the tissue paper with alcohol on it) and take the interface off and just rub it then use a cloth to dry it and remove the alcohol in it (wait like 5 mins tho) and it should be good!
@@unknownpaws will that 1 hour wait not simply evaporate the alcohol?
@@CPSPD I think he meant to wait until 1 hour after use, maybe.
i've been wearing headphones for at least 10 or so years for 5-6 hours a day and I can say without a doubt that leather is almost always hotter and more uncomfortable than material.
I usually go with the thin pad for the face and the thick pad for the back
I just bought extra gaskets from valve then anytime someone comes over everyone gets a fresh gasket and when they stop playing we just wash it with water n a bit of soap every now and then and let it dry before use again and that has worked amazing for us no smell
7:35 you can see the boneworks logo through the crab robot thing
Love your vids, not only are they relaxing to watch but helpful too!
I have a question btw
Does the index’s interface leave marks on your head after 10 mins of use like other headsets?
UnknownSquid cool! Thanks
the ziptied cable clip made me laugh for some reason
Cant VR cover make a pad that actually conforms to the facial interface without wrinkling up ?
That's more difficult with PU leather
Easy solution: make the cloth attached with velcro so you can take it off and throw it in the washing machine, that way it soaks up sweat and can be easily washed and dried
I use my Index like crazy and sweat tons, its never had a smell
How
@@MrJohnny05 Well the fabric is supposed to be anti microbial. I always dry it with a towel or put it in front of my fan, it's been over a month and no smell, despite pouring buckets of sweat into it
“Fixing the Valve Index’s biggest problem”
Sorry sir, I don’t see the controller stick drift being fixed in this video
Its already fixed with the new controllers though
tozuky wait what, there are new controllers that don’t drift? how much do they cost
IMO, the VRCover interface itself is too thin, and not comfortable, with or without the wedges. I'm using the 16mm VRCover gasket intended for the Vive Pro, and it feels much better. I can still get the lenses close enough to touch my face, so I'm not losing any FOV with it.
I bought 2 sets of the replacement original head gaskets.. it only cost 35 for 3 so 70 for 6 then you have 7 head gaskets. 1 a day for the whole week
@Furious_DC I'm in uk.. sorry they are £36.99 for the set but are now completely sold out!
Great review! Thanks! I have ordered nice and an excited to receive it
3:21 thrillseeker: the man who went right into a wall with a one thousand dollars headset
I thought the biggest issue was availability.
Every vr enthusiast: VR COVER
So you will either use a foam that soaks up sweat (gross) And is hard to clean off bactriria. Or a leather which dosent soak up sweat (not nice) but easy to clean.
in a nutshell. VRcover also offers cloth addons for the leather that can do the soaking up and then you can throw in the washer though!
I was going to get one of these, glad I got to use your affiliate link to make the purchase
Second biggest problem tbh.
The biggest problem is a lack of an OEM wireless setup a la Vive.
Soak your cover overnight in a small container of 1 part vinegar, 3 parts water. Vinegar is a natural acid that is very popular in neutralizing bacteria and odors without drying out or damaging fabrics.
It's fucking vinegar, it'll stink worse afterwards.
Thanks for the advice there ~
Great vid. Can you review the Valve Index Controller covers? They enlarge the sides of the stick part of the controllers.
It's biggest problem the 70mm IPD limit, sucks for anyone at 75mm, or anyone in Australia where they don't sell it.
the 360 beat saber in the bg gave me motion sickness forcing me to just listening to the video lol
I don't like the PU leather because the welded seams dig into my face and makes it uncomfortable.
For cleaning, beside soap and water I use a UV-C lamp to kill germs. Works great, no smell. (Use with care! UV-C is very dangerous for eyes and skin!)
"This is NOT a sponsored video...Here is my affiliate link..."
The index controllers manage to be the best controllers ever while being the worst controllers ever.
Honestly true, they get annoying at times, it you get used to it
@@naylofu697 im going to have to send my controller back a 2nd time because its drifting harder than need for speed revenge
Vr build quality is absolutely poo, compare index controllers to old wii controllers and you realize how much better the wii remotes are.

Question: With my index I have a big problem of it just being too small. Apparently I have a giant face. Is this bigger or smaller, because at least with the wedges it looks even smaller than the original to me.
ye I don't understand the purpose of wedges on a headset that is already pressing into the temples..
"Not a sponsor"
Ok
"Please use my affiliate links"
HAHAHA
I never said please use my affiliate links, I said you could if you wanted to.
Honestly, I prefer the cloth cover from VRCover, with the cloth backstrap cover. nice and washable to get all the skin shmoo off.
4:20 too good Thrill.
Are these angled the same way as the original ones or did they take the oppotunity to remove some of the material from the bottom of the cover, so we can see more when looking down?
>Not the controller issue
How
I suppose in other words you have to clean the original after every use, to keep it clean.
I wonder how the index face would fair in the dish washer?🤔 Maybe a good experiment with your old one.
That would destroy the foam. The combination of heat and standard detergents would turn it into mush.
That’s why it’s an experiment. To know exactly what would happen and not guess. I washed my CV1 interface twice and it was ok. Became a little softer.
Good review and valuable thoughts. It is important to provide feedback after some time of using goggles, not only after unboxing like some do. Cheers
Why don't they just make something with detachable cloth/foam that you can throw in the washing machine?
They do, but they expressly tell you not to wash because if they would told you that you can they would be responsible for a large number of rma parts that are simply worn out from use. You cannot rma a t shirt but on electronics you have to have a certain length of warranty...
Just my guess.
Nah the biggest problem is how the damb cable knots and tangles and then makes it impossible to untangle
does this cover make it safe to use glasses inside of the index?
5:25 that level is country rounds in case someone wants to know
FYI: the smellyness of sweat depends on what you eat/drink.
