At 0:59 - I have no idea how the grass was removed. Fortnite has removed the ability to remove grass from the in-game settings. So I don't know why it's removed in this clip...

I have a late-2014 3.5ghz 16gb Mac, 5k retina and AmdR9 M290X 2048mb. I play the highest settings possible but with shadows off and I get around 90-150 fps with no glitching. It works perfectly

I went through both videos and did most of the things you said, and its SO much better. My fps was usually consistent it was just big lag spikes and frame drops early game, but now i get almost none.

Do you have Nvidia graphic card? Install Nvidia Cuda driver and your Mac will fly!! Its much better than the standard Apple driver. On other games it has even better impact. I play Counter-Strike on 260-300 fps. After hours of testing configs an tweaks, this was the change that made best impact on performance!

You will get two options in preferences and driver switch in system bar after you installed it. You need to update the driver under CUDA preferences after every MacOS update.

I’m playing on a 2017 13” MacBook Pro touchbar, 512gb ssd, 8gb ram, i5 Dual core 3,1ghz, and a intel iris plus 650 1,5gb.
On medium resolution, with everything turned to low except for Anti aliasing, shadows and textures on medium. I can ger about 140fps in the idle lobby screen, and about 55-70 in game. Though it does get pretty hot and the fans start to kick in, so I highly recommend you to just have everything on low, with the exceptions of resolution, anti aliasing and shadows on medium at max. Then cap it to 30fps to get a very stable frame rate, and so the processor with integrated graphics doesnt have to push so hard.

I used to get about 20 FPS at best on my 2017 MacBook Pro and about 2 FPS when I jumped out the bus but I partitioned my HD using bootcamp and I now get around 150 FPS with medium settings
