Do you use heat on your hair? Let me know ☺⬇
No f-ing way! 😊 EVER!
Barely ever! I’m with you on the heartless curls techniques 🫶🏻
yes but only when i’m in the rush
Only if I have to go somewhere in the cold.
Only a ceramic and tourmaline blow dryer (I flat iron only 3-4 times a year for very special events.) I always use leave in conditioner spray that also has thermal protection in it.
1. Cold air / air dry
2. No heat
3. Heatless curls
4. Wear protective hairstyle to bed (e.g. loose bun, braid/plait)
5. Silk pillowcase
6. Wash hair twice a week
7. Hair mask / hair oil (alternate)
8. leave in conditioner / detangler / heat protectant
9. Brush hair from ends up
Thanks
if i keep my scalp clean, it helps more with hair growth. If I wash it once a week, it slows down my growth. Saying that from experience.
Brush from the ends up and tangles it
ur a god sent angel
@@kinleybrault9642 yes I 100% agree!
I love how she just gave us easy tips to prevent hair damage rather than bombing us with 20 high end products
Same!!
It is beyond painful when someone else destroys your hair. I had waist length thick vergin hair. I have red hair. And the lady suggested I have a Henna treatment. Long story short. It turned my hair green. She said no problem I'll just put a bleach pack on your hair and it will remove the green. Needless to say it fried my long hair into what looked like wet cotton. When she started blowing it out it snapped off. I walked out of that Salon with a short pixie cut. This happened to me when I was 18 years old. And it was so traumatic that I taught myself how to do everything related to my hair, myself. Now the only time I go into a Salon is to get a trim.
Me too. Most stylists don’t give a damn about our hair.
I am so sorry that you had that experience that sounds absolutely awful. I don't blame you for doing everything yourself! I'm glad your hair is back in a good condition ❤
Well done for the recovery
Yep, one salon MELTED my hair with bleach and still had the nerve to demand full payment. The blistering omg. It took over 3 years for my scalp to recover. If I knew at the time how much damage they did I would have sued.
On the flip side, I've since learned so much that random people ask me how I did my hair when I go shopping now 😂
When horrible things like that happen the only solution for mama’s who are so tired of doing their own hair is to go to a renowned master stylist a few times per year. Just put it in the budget and fly to wherever the stylist is that you know is the best in your region. It seems like overkill but it is a big effort that ends up paying off for people who just need their hair to be perfect for them and no less..
I had lung cancer, and I had chemo and my hair fell out....when the treatment was over I went to the health food store and they suggested "millet seed capsules"...I had beautiful hair in only a few weeks....just a tip for those out there who need to grow hair
I appreciate that you included methods/cost-free tips and not just a bunch of products to buy. Awesome video!
Unbelievable that a salon would A) ruin your beautiful hair and the B) laugh at it! 🤦🏻♀️ They should be shut down! 🤬 Disgusting! Your hair is so beautiful! 🥰 I'm so glad you learned so much from such an awful experience, and now your sharing that knowledge! Such an amazing thing to do! 🥰 You are truly just amazing! ❤
"A wee bit different" you are adorable.
so cute, that caught my attention as well, "a wee subscribe" had me clicking my Irish fingers on the button at once! so so cute this one is.
This transformation is WILD. 🙌🏼 Best tip was find someone who CARES FOR YOUR HAIR. That's so huge and makes all the difference. 🥰 Keep being awesome.
appreciate you 💕
how long it took u to bring your hair back?thanks
Your blonde color looks really natural with your skin tone and eyes really pretty
this is the nicest comment 🥹 thank you so much!
That hairdresser sounds incredibly rude. Sorry for you experience
thank you ☺
I'm so sorry she did that to you. She wasn't a professional. Professionals will ask you to come in and see what they can do. You know...so they can save their reputation!!! Sounds like they the type to not care if your hair was processed and do whatever to get a paycheck.
Yeah that’s why I avoid them for a year now. Every time they ruin my hair making me look like a watermelon
All excellent tips (guy who's super enthusiastic about his own long hair here)
May I also recommend putting a cheap shower cap over the hair mask and either using a heated cap or a warm towel over the top. Helps it really, really work.
I also use olaplex 3 maybe once or twice a month, just to keep everything in tip top shape.
such a good tip! I will 100% try that out ☺ thank you so much for sharing!!
I use olaplex 2 every week to heal my hair
This really inspires me. I've always had long thick hair all of my life. I've been blonde for around 7 years now and have been on the verge of a mental breakdown from my hair loss after getting my top roots done followed by the underneath a few weeks later.. I think it was a combination of that and one evening of using a hair dryer which certainly didn't help my already compromised hair. You're hair looks great I really hope I can formulate similar results by continuing to take the steps! I can't believe those hairstylists said that to you.. I swear, I fel like sometimes these people are out to get you & your hair 😭
thank you so much for such a kind comment. I promise you've got this!! I felt so hopeless but being consistent and trying to stay positive is the best thing you can do ☺
I've dyed my hair pink for over a year now, I love it. I always get compliments on it and it makes me feel pretty. I know you shouldn't attach value to hair, but I feel special with it. That being said the damage the bleach causes is starting to take its toll. I'm gonna give myself a year following your tips.
I 100% understand! Please do come back and let me know if any of these helped ☺
Hii :) did you already see some changes if youve followed the tips ?
I got my hair ruined 2 years ago. I have been in a hair care journey ever since and my hair is almost fully healed . And yeah , I will never bleach my hair again
I'm so happy to hear that you hair is on the mend!! Aye it would be so much easier not to bleach it honestly! I think at some stage I will do the same ☺
But my natural colour is soo ugly
@@Olivia-bs5wj Someone is at a salon right now "Trying" to get YOUR natural color! 🤣 Every hair color is beautiful!! 🥰 Problem is... the grass is always greener, on the other side! 🤣 🥰🤷🏼♀️😍
Your blonde hair is beautiful and you've done a great job taking care of it.. your natural color is also stunning. Thanks for the advice 😃
Thank you so much 🥰 this comment just made my day! I'm so glad you found it helpful!
☝️ I agree! Your natural hair is very beautiful and if I could offer my own advice, grow out your natural color before you go gray!! I seriously wish so badly I would have! It is so cliche to say natural is better and more beautiful, but most times it really is! Your blonde hair is gorgeous too tho!!
I went to Ulta to completely just chop my hair to a restarting point and I can tell you that my stylist was understanding. We both related to picking at the scalp and having issues with a bad scalp. She’s having me come in every six weeks to trim it so I can heal my hair.
That sounds like you've found someone who really cares! ☺ your hair will be on the mend in no time. You've got this!!
I’ve been trying to grow my hair back for months now after a hairdresser at my fave salon gave me the WORST haircut I have ever had :( absolutely horrendous… never going back.
I feel like my hair is screwed now so here I am looking for EVERY tip I can!
Thank you for this video! It was extremely helpful and it’s relieving seeing your transformation to remind me that I am not completely screwed over😅
I'm so sorry that this happened to you! I'm glad that seeing how far my hair has come has given you some hope. If my hair can recover, I promise yours can too ❤ thank you so much for your feedback and good luck on your hair care journey 🥰
never dyed or bleached my hair but i chopped it off 2 years ago at a bad hairdresser and ever since its been broken. im trying my best to heal it.. it's growing super slow and i miss my beautiful long hair:(
Same problem 😮
I Can relate. My Hair was Absolutely Horrible. Beauticians Do not care. And they was absolutely Rude to you. I’m sorry. You had to go through that. I Used Moroccan Oil No Heat No Color. Washed my hair every 8 Days. My Hair is so Healthy now.
thank you so much for your comment! I've never tried Moroccan oil so thank you for that recommendation ☺ I'm so glad to hear your hair is so healthy now!
I used to have super long hair (below my bum) and I made an impulsive decision to bleach it in quarantine. Then kept bleaching for a year. Half of my hair fell off one day after overlapping old bleached sections with new bleached sections. I completely stopped bleaching after that tragic incident and now it's been 1.5 years so I have shoulder length virgin hair again and whatever remains from the previous bleaching applications below that.. in comparison to the bleached parts, virgin hair feels soooo much softer and thicker and dries immediately after a shower when the bleached hair needs like 8 hours. I don't think I'll never bleach my hair again after this, it was super traumatising and for a whole year I was in fear that I'd lose my all of my hair... As whatever still remained was slowly falling off after every shower and brushing.
I think this is something that people who bleach their hair (especially for the first time) should be aware of as hair loss is extremely common.
And from my experience, you can't bring that back to life no matter what you do (I did everything you mentioned on the video). I've just waited until it grew out.
Cut heat
Air dry
Protective hairstyles
Silk pillowcase
Less poo
Use shampoo tool
Hair mask
Leave in conditioner
Brush from end
Less poo? 😅 💩
Thanks for an encouraging video...I've been doing my best for nearly a year now to heal my damaged hair & i also do most of what you've done. My curls & volume are FINALLY coming back. Altho i do feel like my hair will never get long again , your video has helped me realize, i need to keep being patient & keep pampering it !! Thank you !!
thank you for this! Its a relief that other women have had this same experience. My hair will be fine! so be it and so it is
of course ❤ and so it is!
I over bleached my hair so much it literally started to just break off and I so appreciate your recommendations and I'm going to try it your hair is beautiful again thank you so much👍🤗🙂💖👑
Taking biotin helps too 🥰 your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
I so needed this advice! My hair doesn't want to stay in my head😮
Thanks!
Thank you for this video, I loved that all the products recommended are cruelty-free as well.
Just bought: silky pillow, rosemary oil, it's 10 leave in, shampoo brush and added to my hair care routine! Thank you! Just love my gold blond and I hope this will also work fo me 🥹🥹❤️
yes I'm so happy for you! Please come back in a few months and let me know how it's going ☺
Your hair is so gorgeous✨ and you're so well spoken and pretty
this is the nicest comment 😭 thank you so much 💕
I discovered It's a 10 about five years ago. It's the one product in my arsenal I can't live without. A bit pricey, but I get it whenever it's on sale. Worth every penny! ♥
Just accept your beautiful brien hair. I highlighted my hair for ages once I stopped my hair is gorgeous and Virgin. Never got so many compliments
I went from brunette to blond and I looove the color but hate the damage. I used to just use shampoo and conditioner, then brush my hair, blow dry it and I’m done. Now I use, normal shampoo, purple shampoo, purple conditioner, hydrating mask, smoothing cream, leave in conditioner and detangler and i still can’t brush it. I lost a lot of hair too from trying to brush through it and now it feels like I have half my hair left. It’s so frustrating! Anyway. I think I didn’t leave the mask on for long enough (just 15mins) so I’ll try to leave it on for longer. And will try some of the other techniques.
this is such a good video, Im starting my journey to 're-health' this year! thanks Eireann
Amazing!! I love that for you ☺️ I’m so glad you found it helpful. Good luck on your journey!! ❤
Leaving conditioner in your hair overnight can leave behind grimy residue, comprising proteins, silicones, and other chemicals present in the product.
Just use 3% volume, slow and easy , use foil, don't ever get Toner it goes dark, hairdressers ruined my hair so gone back to doing it. My self again thanks for the tips 😇
Thank you so much…. I went to a lady who royally fucked up my hair. I’m devastated I won’t be going back to her and I’m praying I can save it
People can have healthy hair even if it’s bleached blonde. They need to use hair masks, leave in conditioner spray, k18 and/or Olaplex. Always use heat protection spray when using heat tools. Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Use a microfiber towel, sleep on a silk or satin pillow case. Only use cloth scrunchies and not the tight hair ties. Use swim shampoo to remove chlorine. Regular shampoo doesn’t remove it from hair. Get routine hair cuts.
I’m a licensed cosmetologist.
Also her hair is gorgeous!!! 😍
YES! 🙌🏻 Thank you so much for sharing all this helpful information ☺ and thank you 💕
@@diaryofeireann Actually you can dye/bleach hair every six weeks and it still remain healthy. It depends on the type of bleach used since some bleaches are much stronger than others. I like Blonde Me Schwarzkopf bleach and Redken’s bleach both contain hair bonders already in the bleach. However I still would mix Olaplex 1 into it for the most damage repair and protection. Also I always recommend mixing in Olaplex 1 into bleach, hair color, perm or relaxer solution so there is a lot less damage to the hair. Then after rinsing follow up with Olaplex 2. Those products are only sold for licensed professionals however Olaplex 0 and 3 are sold for public usage. 0 and 3 are to be used before shampooing and conditioning the hair. The only difference is that 0 and 3 have the same damage repair and hair bonding ingredient but it is a smaller amount. I heard it’s around 20-25% while Olaplex 1 contains 50% of the ingredient.
But if you need to repair and protect, then it is damaging the hair at the end of the day. I think it’s important to just be clear, bleach is meant to open the shaft and lift the hair and that is damaging, you can ‘repair’ surface level but never get it back to its original condition. I had to learn that from getting highlights and realizing only doing crazy amounts of masks and bond repair and having to keep dying it for it to look okay just wasn’t worth it to me. Plus the chemicals your exposed to. 🤷🏻♀️
I had a bad experience with a hair stylist. I asked for a dark brown and she gave me black. Like jet black hair. I was not happy and when I asked if we could go lighter she was rude and didn’t answer me for months. My now hair stylist is great and does a wonderful job of getting me back to dirty blonde. She walks me through everything and makes me feel comfortable.
Girl we share the same experience, I cried hysterically because my hair was falling out like on chemo after a bleaching in a salon😩😩My hair was thin but I had a lot of it and it was all my pride before this accident😩7 years later they are finally saved and regrowed but this experience learned me a sad lesson😞
I'm so sorry you had to go through that ❤
Thank you for saying to cut down on bleach instead of completely cutting out bleach. So many TH-cam videos say to cut out color completely and while that may help more, some of us just love being blonde 🤣🙌🏼
honestly lol! It can make the journey a wee bit longer but it's so worth it in my opinion ☺
And some of us aren’t ready to be gray yet!
I mix the Jamaican black castor oil and mix in drops of jojoba, marula and argan oil and leave it in over night on a Friday or Saturday and my hair is so soft and shiny. My hair is almost platinum and this concoction has saved my hair. Then leave in conditioners.
Where do you buy all this?
Your humor and accent are mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing, I learned a lot and laughed a lot! Hope you get to 1Mil views! Cheers! TT
this is the nicest comment ever 😭 you just made my day!! Thank you so much 💕
My hair is half a thick as it used to be and I've only been blonde 2 years I invested in fanola fiber fix bonder mask and the botugen mask aphogee two step protein treatment also biotin supplements my hair is starting to look better I've been trimming it every time I do my roots and I'm ahead of the breakage but think all of products have helped me stay blonde thanks for your suggestions on hair care products think I'll get its a 10 leave in
It sounds like you're doing a great job. Good luck in your hair care journey ☺
My long-time stylist damaged my hair in July 2023. She has been my stylist since I was in 10th grade and I have always had the same thing done every 4 months a relaxer touch up and trim, and I would trim my own hair in between usually 8 weeks after each visit. Now back in July I went in for my regular relaxer touch-up and trim, and for some reason, she pulled the relaxer through the full length of my hair, and when she was done she had cut my hair about 4-5 inches instead of the normal half-inch trim. I didn't notice until I got home that my hair was damaged and thin. I went in with thick healthy waist-length hair and left with it mid-back and damaged, fast forward to today and my hair is now shoulder length and damaged, I cut as much as I could myself without sacrificing all of my length. I have done weekly protein using Aphoghee and Olaplex followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner. How long did it take you to recover from the damage? I am 7 months post damage, and I the only time I use heat is every four months at the salon. It was so heartbreaking, as I have trusted this woman for years, and she has always been honest and helpful when it came to my hair. I have canceled all my future appointments and will never set foot in a salon even for a trim. Please ladies tell me how long did it take to get back to healthy hair? I really do not want to cut my hair into a bob, it took 3-4 years to grow my hair out from my last short cut, and I loved my long hair. Why would my stylist do this to me? I am still pissed over it and it will be a year in July 2024.
And I was such a great tipper! Just to show how much I appreciated her, I would tip anywhere from $50 to $60 each visit.
I bleach my outgrowth every 6 months. I cut one inch every 6 months. I wash once a week or once every other week. I try not to oil too much as it can weigh down your hair and make it fall out. Do cowashes and hair treatments involving apple cidar vinegar with eggs, honey, bananas etc.
Loooove this video!!! We need more sit down content like this 👏🏻❤
Thank you🙏🏼 I appreciate this so much. The news about the Argan oil shocked me. I’ve been using the Argan oil leave in conditioner for a few days and I couldn’t understand why my hair was worse.
That’s crazy she was that arrogant, props to you for how you handled the situation I feel like I’d be in jail. I’m glad you got your hair back 🖤
Thank you for this… loved it💗💗💗
Only thing is the silk pillow case, just in case you didn’t know… please use a vegan silk/satin pillowcase because the way they boil those beautiful silkworms alive so that they are forced to open their cocoons (where they get the silk) is so horrendous and such an immense amount of suffering until they die, is really not worth it. I certainly could not contribute to that after I saw it. They are so sensitive and close their cocoons when frightened.
Just wanted you to know in case you didn’t 🥲
omg I did not know this!! 😭 Thank you so much for sharing that information. I will be switching to a vegan case!!!
@@diaryofeireann thank you so so much for showing compassion & Empathy. The amount of things that go on with products that cause so much unbelievable suffering to animals, in which is always kept hidden, is hopefully all now coming to the surface… I truly believe that the majority of society would not contribute to these things if they truly knew how it was made…💗💗💗
I had no idea! I’m a vegan too! 😢
😮😢😢😢😢 Ty for sharing
Thank you for opening my eyes to this - I had no idea. What a barbaric world we live in all for man's greed x
You’re so sweet thank you for this ❤ makes it feel like not the end of the world xx
Finally some light on bleached hair issues! Thank you sooo much :):) Would love to see a make up tutorial!
No problem at all ☺ I'm so glad that you found this helpful and yes! Makeup tutorial coming soon 💕
And for the rosemarry oil it's concetrate for hair and it cause white hair, so we have to put five drops on a spoon of an elevator oil
Regular trim and olpaex and k18 are my life saver
Love this these are very important things that actually worked and helped my hair so much ❤
There is something I wonder. Did you cut your hair after bleach fail? How long did it take you to fix your hair? Recently, I had a similar experience and feel terrible about it. Thanks for the advices.
yes I did but I really didn't want to cut off a lot. So I trimmed it every few months and slowly cut off all of the dead hair - I hope that helps ☺
Three years ago, I had long, healthy black dyed hair. It was super healthy despite the dye. I went to a salon for a balayage, and the stylist removed the black dye, turning my hair orange. Then, she applied bleach all over my hair and left the salon unexpectedly, saying she'd be right back. My mom and I didn't know how long to leave the bleach in, so we probably left it in too long. My entire head turned blonde, which was not what I wanted at all. I'm still traumatized by this experience, and even after three years, my hair is only about 75% back to normal.
If you guys have any tips please let me know right now I’m just still cutting out the bleach and my hair is naturally brown.
Yeah I stopped bleaching my hair as often and now my hair is thick and long , and I do have very blonde hair . I color my roots with a level 8 AA and 20 vol on the roots and do highlights every 4-5 months
Dark hair would look so good on you!
Right on! I never use heat and I have healthy long blonde & I pretty much follow the rest of your advice. Argon oil! 👍🏻
your hair is beautiful!! I'm so glad you agree 🥰
I have been exact same situation and I also stop using the heat, stop bleaching (only 2 times a years was bleaching) using Rosmarry oil and also I bought and was doing myself hair BOTOX and in six month people have noticed how my hair started to shine and it stated to grow as well. ❤❤❤
If my hair air dried as nice as yours, I wouldn’t use heat either. Mine takes hours to dry naturally and then is totally unruly. I blow dry on low heat and that works for me really well. And YES to silk pillowcase. I tried a satin one at first to save money, but my face stuck to it all night. Switched to silk and no problem now.
Blow drying on low heat is a great alternative ☺
Great tips.... I HAD beautiful healthy hair then got cool blonde highlights and it's so dry and damaged now. Idk if I'll ever mess w/bonde again. Your hair is looking quite beautiful now.
Thank you so much. I'm so sorry to hear that! I wouldn't blame you either but I know you can get your hair back to a healthy state again. You've got this!
I am going through the devastated stage right now 😞 I’ve had long hair all my life and never dyed it. It was down to my bum my whole life . Then one day I picked up hair dye . Dyed it a couple times tops in a year and put heat and it ruined the shit out of it . I wished I never messed with it 🥺
I'm so sorry but I promise you can get it back to where it was! You've got this :)
My hair is a bit longer than yours. I never use hair driers period.Only schampoo without sulphates. Of course brush from ends, otherwise you compact any tangles. Washing twice a week is enough for long hair. Also use John Frida silicone drops for ends after every wash, hair doesn't tangle as bad if you do. And cut ends often to prevent split ends.
my roots show up in 2 weeks so i have to bleach them once a month. because of pcos and testosterone my hair got thinner and thinner in time. and it stretches when its wet, and when its dry it IS dry. even i need to use lots of hair care products every single day but it just masks the problem
Love my silk pillow slips I wouldn't sleep on anything else great for your hair and skin
I don’t used heat on my hair unless I dye my hair 3x a year only. So drying my hair is only air drying only. It’s saved my hair. Also, I braid my hair at night ( lower pony tail only ). If I do it higher it just going to annoy me and my scalp. Plus comb my hair with wide tooth comb from the bottom up so my hair is safe.
What you did is actually smart. A lot of professionals recommend the same steps
Thank you for making this video! It gives me hope
Of course, no problem at all ☺ You've got this!
I have used a lot of colour remover’s. My hair is damaged. My hair will not take hair color. I’m going to work on hydrating my hair to see if that will help with getting the colour to stick.
A silk bonnet for sleeping allows you to use any type of pillowcase! I can't live without my flannel sheet sets in winter...❄🏔🏔
Mask instead of conditioner, leave in conditioner, hair oil and no heat are the KEY things. Also DO NOT wash your hair too often. Once every 5-7 days if your hair is medium/thick
But my hair gets oily literally the day after I wash it
@Olivia that means the oil isn't being removed properly when you wash it. You need to use professional grade shampoo and wash your scalp TWICE. The first time you wash it the shampoo won't foam up. The second time, it should foam like mad. Professional shampoo only foams when your hair is clean. Shop shampoos have foaming agents in them and they also deposit a lot of oil on the scalp
My hair looks like your after 😢 I decided a month ago that I’m done with bleach because the last time I bleached it, about 6 weeks ago, they made me sign a piece of paper saying I won’t come after them if my hair breaks. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED THEN but I didn’t and they broke the hell out of my hair. Starting my journey now.
You've got this!! I promise you can get it back to where it was ❤
your hair looks so good, but i hope you're deep cleansing in between cause you use a hell load of silicones and poly fatty oils which I'd say it's like the make-up of the hair, you're not seeing your natural hair, but a covered version of it! Also, none of these products are valid for Curly Method (if anyone was wondering). Again, you can definitely have beautiful hair and minimize breakage with silicones, but don't let them build up or it'll fire back!!
An excellent line of products are made by John Friedas, my own head is shaved, but I used the sealing and anti frizz on my super white dog and even wool sweaters. It gives an excellent texture and in Montréal during winter it protected my dog from that toxic gray slush and salt...which can actually cause them cancer...Easily.
Hoping your latest video is good news, I'm actually a scaredy cat 🙀
There are also excellent products for grooming horses... Honest!
Your mane will be show quality 😁
hi! i recommend you use a leave in conditioner where it says on the bottle that it is only a leave in conditioner
As a guy, I’d rather GET HAIR growing AGAIN.... Got the Top front thinning and the Back missing the The heir to Britain’s royal kingdom... Missing the Back! Great video production! You have Such beautiful hair!
Thank you for this video. Ive been upset for quite sometime about my chemical cut. Im happy I dont need to cut it all off ❤
My hair was really fried, all the products I used ment more washing which made the problem worse.
I got kinami7 hair butter which kept my hair soft and the ends didn't frizz or get crunchy. I just reapplied each night to my ends and by morning they didn't get crunchy or tangled.
No silk pillow case, cool air to dry because when it was wet it was stringy, no braids because that pulls the hair that is weak.
Do you use the leave in conditioner every day? Or just wash day? Do you put it on wet or dry hair? Thanksxx
How often do you use the hair mask? Only when you washed your hair??
I paid $120 for a silk pillowcase I used it for a couple of months did not notice any difference so I threw it away didn't like it.
I highly recommend investing in a good quality leave in conditioner too! R+Co has an amazing one called sun catcher. Mind you, this brand is pretty pricy. But they have a large variety of products (like over 200 products on their website). I don't use their most expensive line. But I love love love their products, and a little dime size is more than enough! I ended up getting a free sample size of Sun Catcher, which is about 1oz, and it's not even halfway gone, and I got it about three months ago. I pretty much use it every day.
thank you so much for this recommendation! 🥰
I have different colors so I am blonde get thin color of my natural base, different color blondes looks more natural and less upkeep and damage
I damaged mine through heat styling. Stopped all heat and it's growing again.
Your hair looks INCREDIBLE now!!! I have hope for myself now lol. One question- after that pic from before where it was super damaged, did you have to cut all the damaged/split ends off? Or did you just start healing it as best you could and maybe give little trims along the way?
Asking because I have hair down to my mid-back that a hair salon recently fried- the popular consensus is if I want it healthy I have to cut all the damage off or it'll just keep splitting and getting worse, which is horrifying to me because I'd have to cut an entire foot off up to my shoulders then, and I've tried to get it that long for years.
Thank you so much ❤ So they told me that all of the dead hair (up to the tops of my ears) was going to have to be cut off. I didn't want to do the chop all at once so I gradually trimmed the damaged hair off while caring for the rest of my hair. I hope that helps! Stay hopeful I promise you can get your hair back to where you want it ☺
Does anybody know why hair stylists tell you to only use high end shampoo conditioner etc and to avoid drugstore products,??
drugstore hair products usually contain harmful ingredients like sulfates and silicone, where most higher end products don’t! but there are good products from both categories in my opinion
I just bleached my roots again but because I do it myself, I can't help but get it on my lengths, I have a short inverted Bob, and now it's mush 😢😢 I'm ordering the osmo now
thank you girl, did you get a haircut before starting the process? my hair was fried and extremely damage due to a keratin done wrong. i was sad because i like my long hair but now im starting to take care of my short hair and i also decided to stop doing keratins.
Thnx for d encouragement🤗.. Will surely Stay more positive on my hair repair journey🤩
How to clean led hair brushes and electrical hair Straightening brushes.. Any idea guys? 🤔...
Stay Blessed Stay Happy Always 🥰😘🤗🧚♀️🦄🌈🧿
yes stay positive, you've got this!! 🥰
I had long bleached highlighted hair and the same thing happened to me, honestly caught the hair dresser trying to add bleach to all of my hair instead of my roots, she done this so many times to me, I ran out of the hair dressers so upset, I took a breath and went back in I was so frustrated the same girl kept trying to fry my hair off. I asked her to have a look at my hair it feels like it's getting really damaged can she wash it out. And she looked at me and said can't you do it yourself? What the he'll type of response is that!!!!! I refused to pay... now my hair is so short I'm tryna grow it back, it's been 3 years it such a slow journey.
How long did it take you to grow your hair back?
So after bleaching my hair, I lost at least 50% of it - so it’s very thin now. My understanding and experience since has been that the hair follicles died off and can never come back as stylists have said. So I will always have thin hair (whereas it used to be extremely thick). Yours looks fuller again - did your thickness come back too?
Rosemary oil mixed with a carrier oil, will restore baldness even. It is scientifically proven to be as effective, if not more so than Minoxodil. Say you had a cup of argan, olive, oil, you want to add about 20 drops of 100% rosemary oil. Mix, and put it in a spray bottle. Cover whole scalp, massage in, put a shower cap on for as many hours as you can. Then wash with gentle shampoo, conditioner. Then when dry, apply leave in conditioner. Got some great Black Friday deals for hair products. Do this twice a week, and, yes, your hair follicles will come back to life. Within a week you will see the beginnings of hair growth. I have done it, so it works. Just be consistent.
Thank you girl I’m gonna try this the hairdresser messed up my hair so bad 😢
I wish I didn’t need heat on my hair 😭 I have curly thin hair so if I want it down and nice I have to blow dry it & straighten the baby hairs 😢
Thank you for sharing your story! How do you handle hair growth? I personally don't like to see my growth and I try to hide it using a powder... btw, your hair is gorgeous! : )
I’m honestly so mentally connected with my hair. My hair before is my hair in my pfp. Went to a salon yesterday and now my hair are fried, white and my bangs are yellow and i was so sad and desperate that icutted it off to my shoulders and all day i felt like vomiting from sadness. Now i will have to deal with it somehow until i change colour
I feel you. Last months I've lost sooo much hair it's crazy. Start to think it's the tea I'm drinking so I quit. But I had the worst outgrowth which I wanted to bleach and I told my hair dresser to NOT do anything on the length. She complained I had dry hair but STILL bleach the length so now it's so damaged and thin, and not the colour I like. My hair is literally the only thing I like and do care about, it was beautiful like 3 months ago but now it's a completely different hair and the worst part is it takes so long to grow.... maybe a wig is the right solution
I just totally fried off my hair I actually feel your pain I did it yesterday too, by accident. Idk what I was thinking but I used fanola bleach and it didn’t work it turned my hair orange so I got mad and bleached my roots wet again w Same stupid crap and lost sooooo much hair it came out in clumps. I’m supposed to get married soon. What am I going to do? I was able to tone it but so much is gone and the purple toning shampoos turned mid shafts bright purple. I cant Even Touch it Right now l I’ll also buy a new mask I do have something called fiber fix I’ll try too. There enough hair to camo it but it’s very very badly ruined right now 😭I feel your pain
i'm so sorry that you're going through that right now and I can 100% relate. I felt like I didn't know who I was without my hair lol. I promise you that you will get back to feeling like yourself. Stay consistent with your hair care and you will get there before you know it ❤
OUCH! I don’t blame you for wanting to vomit all day. I’d probably be in the luny bin! The consultation is REALLY Important. Go with your gut. I trust my colorist. Even the shampoo/ conditioner people treat my hair like the finest silk. It costs more ($500 is nothing when it comes to my hair!), but it lasts longer and the results are flawless!
I’ve NEVER heard of a salon doing what she and you described. Where do you guys live?
Same to you friend😢😢😢
What is your natural hair color (red?) and what do you do to lighten your hair now? Thanks.
When you touch up your roots try a 9AA and developer 20- ratio 1:1 don't go through all of it and save from being further damaged. USACosmetologist😊
I would like to stop using heat but I have curly frizzy hair that are just terrible without blow drying them. I wish I had straight hair because I also bleach them blonde with full head highlights
Omg same! I watched that video 3 months ago and then started air drying my hair. The first 3 weeks I felt terrible. But after a month I got used to it and tried heatless hairstyles. Now my hair feels a lot better and I dont have to cut it every month. It will work for you too!
