Yah, a woman was dead and she was worried about her schedule. Before it even got to this point she should of gone to the police. She could of saved that poor woman from being killed.
I have consistently found that women who sleep with married men have no empathy, therefore they don’t care about whoever gets hurt or murdered. Of course, right? No empathy means they cannot put themselves in the wife’s position to begin with, which is why they begin the affair in the first place. These people are damaged emotionally and mentally.
Divorce is more of a hassle, and murder shuts the chapter on things. Saying divorce is always wrong and so now go murder is just an excuse for weak people like that guy
Why pay for divorce and lose half of everything including the kids, when killing the spouse leaves you with everything and probably a nice life insurance payout to boot?…
he was a pastor...or was he a minister? Anyways, it's amazing how much leeway people allow "religious people." Plus, this guy was a shameless predator. If you keep hitting on thousands of women, you'll find one that doesn't mind your creepiness. Law of averages.
NO mother kills themselves, naked, with their young children in the house. A typed letter? A husband calling 911 like hes ordering pizza? A mistress who knew ALL that information? Shame on them.
Ex paramedic here, this case might be murder but suicides can be truly bizarre and I have attended calls far worse than this. One mother hung herself in front of her kids, that was a pretty bad night.
love how the mistress was on the stand describing Matt's incredibly greasy Vasectomy/STD come on like it was the creepiest, most inappropriate thing she'd ever heard. Only to end with; "So then we started having an affair". Classy girl.
She was all good with his murder plot and even continued sleeping with him afterward. She's just as guilty for knowingly allowing it to happen. She only ratted after she knew she was going down as his accomplice.
My guess is that they offered her immunity for her testimony. That’s pretty standard, especially since technically she didn’t _actively_ participate in any way. That said, she’s garbage.
I agree if she knew ahead of time. I've watched this story on a couple different shows an I believe she was informed after the fact. Not that she's not a disgusting human just for the fact she's banging the married pastor. But I'm not convinced she knew he was gonna kill her. Oh Im sure he said all kinds of hateful things about his wife but don't think she was told I'm gonna kill her ... Thinking she was told after the fact that Ya I did this all for you an our love... Or something along those lines of Bullshit!!
Would you run to that PD when they didn’t even suspect the guy? After all he was a minister, & evidently his wife didn’t take his shenanigans seriously when she found out about them. Highly unlikely the PD would wish to walk back on their initial findings, especially since they wouldn’t listen to victim’s family.
Can you imagine having the temerity to play the victim after you slept with a married man, did nothing to stop him from murdering his wife, knew he did it, then continued to be with him afterward... Unreal. They are both malignant narcissists.
Kari's parents were heroic in their determination to see justice done for their daughter. I hope it is some consolation for her surviving daughter to know how much her mother was loved by her parents that they refused to give up and did the police's job for them.
okay here’s my problem with this Vanessa person: she clearly knew EVERY SINGLE DETAIL about the crime he committed yet she kept quiet about it, only spoke up after he got caught. Also, if he spoke about killing his wife so many times and she stood by him what does that make her? I don’t buy the innocent vulnerable speech, she should’ve been prosecuted right along with him.
@@yanifree114 doubtful the child was very very sick. And treatment might be limited at that age. I wouldn’t put it pass him because the child was “taking too long to die” in his mind
The death of a child often kills the relationship. It takes a few years to finally for that process of grieving to run its course, at which point the couple might not have anything left. And of course, the pain will never go away, like a life-changing injury such as having a habitual drunk driver break your back, or having a creepy dude kill your daughter, the pain will always be there... I suspect that Matt was the one who lost interest in her, however. He seemed to place physical lust over having something deeper...
Yea she’s a real piece of work. She knew about his plan to kill her and did nothing. She could have saved her. She should feel partially responsible for Kari’s death IMO.
She was under the thumb of someone who was very good at manipulating others. True she is not totally innocent but psychopaths and narcissists are incredibly good at manipulating and almost hypnotizing people with lies and bullshit.
Vanessa: (paraphrased of course) My married pastor was such a creep when he first approached me for an affair. It was disgusting. Also Vanessa: So after I started having an affair with my married pastor. This is what zero character, zero sense, and zero accountability looks like.
While you're correct, humans are humans, male or female. People say men don't always think with the organ between their ears, they think with a different organ. Well, women can be guilty of the same sometimes.
I thought the same thing! Vanessa thought he was a creeper (which she was right!), but she still went on to have an affair with him, knowing he was married?? Vanessa also never said anything about the pastor plotting to kills his wife? They are both disgusting human beings!
@@User31129 firstly the original comment didn’t make any mention of it being a female or male issue 😂 Secondly, although it’s technically true what you’re saying, this wasn’t that case. Vanessa is younger and way more attractive than he is. It’s highly doubtful she was just desperate for sex 🙄😂 In extremely broad and general terms (I have a psych degree), women cheat/look for partners with different reasons in mind than men 🤔 While there are always exceptions - many of them - in general, women tend to look for security, love and positive attention - sex is usually not the main (nor sole) reason. She was recently divorced and probably felt lonely and vulnerable. Many divorcees think “no one will ever want me now I’m this age and I have kids”. He was older, he was a pastor (so he had a good standing in the community), and he was infatuated with her 🤔 That’s very flattering to someone in her position. It’s one of the reasons why we say so many cases of younger women with older men - psychologically speaking, it’s about stability, security and older men tend to worship young, hot women. You feel adored and special while being secure knowing he won’t leave you (because he’s so infatuated) 🤔 It’s not always on a conscious level. As I say, of course there are lots of exceptions to this and it’s a very general analysis, but the point is, in this case, she wasn’t with him purely for sexual reasons 😂🤷♀️ Men typically can separate sex and love much more easily than women (again, broadly speaking). While men can just get what they’re looking for and walk away, for women, there’s an emotional element that makes it harder (and for the last time, before anyone jumps down my throat, there are of course exceptions. I’m talking from a psychological perspective that has been studied for a very long time at length lol).
Happens more than we think. Men lie all the time about being in relationships and the rest of the women don’t even care but still act like they didn’t know when they get caught 🙄
And the fact that she has a child of her own is sickening to me !!! Would you want your child having to deal with a murdered mother???? Why would you do that to someone else’s kids
@@eduagonzalez i hate that type of women. They shi* constantly in other garden but God beware if someone shi* in hers..egoistic and cold Would not trust such womens one bit
"um yes I believe my wife just committed suicide" he should have added "Also I would like a large pepsi with my order", with how fucking lifeless that 911 call was
First red flag was how calm he sounded telling the operator his wife had committed suicide. If you love your souse, you would be beyond yourself, not sound calm as hell. Second red flag was that the note was typed. 90% of the time suicide notes are handwritten. I instantly suspected it was him
The only reason the mistress gave him up was because she saw the heat he was starting to get from the private investigation, and she knew if they started digging deeper she was going to be linked and held accountable for at least knowing about it! It wouldn’t surprise me if she actually had part in the planning of the murder! No way in hell that you can still have relations with a person who committed such a terrible crime if they aren’t at least okay with the idea!
Moral of the story: no, you cannot determine if this is "the one" from a mere 3 months of romantic-type interaction and two, you shouldn't try and commit for the long term in your 20's. The likelihood it will work is so extremely low. Wait to settle down till your 40's when all of the immature adolescent young adult values pretty much disappear.
FORREAL! Same with anyone that gets involved with somebody who is spoken for then they think that person won’t turn around & cheat on them too!! Yo, they literally SHOWED you their poor character! I just can’t 😒🙄😑
To be fair, women who try to leave violent men often end up becoming targets themselves. It might have been she figured he was just venting and full of shit - talking a big game about something he'd never actually go through with (y'know, like all those people who say they're going to start a band). And then, as he's describing in painful detail how he killed his wife and the police have declared it a suicide, it hits her that he wasn't just a shallow sex-obsessed loser full of impotent rage, but was actually very fucking dangerous. On the other hand, he said he wanted to kill her because she "got fat" and called her "disgusting". She might well have thought "I'm younger and prettier, he's not gonna do anything to me".
Wow the girlfriend is a wack job and has the nerve to call him crazy! She should be in jail too! He told her he was gonna kill his wife and she did nothing about it!
Was thinking the exact same thing about her. As if she didn't know how totally wrong it was on her part to even fool with that creep. She knew how wrong it was for him to even joke with her about "dating" and should immediately have left that church and never returned, at the very least. Must be some seriously liberal baptists, lol.
totally agree. i think it's the 'Amber Frey' effect, they want to be famous or something. want to write a book & gain something from it. completely disgusting.. sad they couldn't charge her as well..
The 911 call proving he wasn't doing CPR on her really sealed the deal. I can't believe they didn't do an autopsy on a suicide OD. All non natural deaths should have a thorough investigation and autopsy.

Especially ALL that talking he was doing. I am an RN. You cannot talk like he was and do chest compressions that fast. It takes literally ALL YOUR ENERGY. Your sole focus is on positioning, the depth and counting how many you are doing. One person CPR is hard. He most definitely wasn't doing them...
19:00 So.. the girlfriend, Vanessa Bulls, has approximately three weeks' worth of conversations with him about how to kill his wife and she doesn't bother to go to the police. I swear, I wish there were laws to punish people like her. She's loving her time in court so she can tell on him, but she's also telling on herself. Listen to all those details! She had *multiple* chances to go to the police. Shame on Vanessa Bulls.
If it's any consolation, I doubt she's on facebook and has to use a fake name if she ever wants to try out a dating site. I wouldn't touch her with a ten-inch pole. She's clearly mentally ill and will have to explain her actions to The Almighty if she truly believes there is an afterlife.
I was so disgusted when he said I think she urinated on herself and that it smelled like it. He was probably mad at her dead body for being so "gross", just like he was mad at her for being so fat (um, she wasn't?). No emotion whatsoever during that call. What a vile monster!
Ikr? And then when he's being instructed to do chest compressions that we all know damn well he is NOT doing, he finds it more important to ask the 911 operator if he should unlock the door and then mentions that he needs to call her parents. Yes, doing those two things are definitely more important than trying to do CPR on your wife. Ewww.
I guess he forgot to clean his mirror to take a long good look at himself first! It would have saved him some breath from criticizing his innocent wife and her looks! Vile a$$hole!
Interviewed about a murder. "I don't mind talking to you guys but this is taking time out of *my* schedule" I laughed because I couldn't anticipate her saying that
At this time she was just being interviewed like anyone would including the husband… the fact she would say the when she knew detail by detail of HOW he murdered her she is directly involved
17:46 on . . . . Is it just me or has a witness never been so excited about telling everyone what she knew? And she thinks she was manipulated??? She was pretty excited about manipulating the jury to believe her story. So many evil details.
That poor wife. Sounds like a terrible life and instead of him trying to help her with her grief he used it against her. He is the lowest of the low, especially pretending to be a minister to others.
@@HamburgerAmy No, that's about as sadly human as you can get -- and tends to be VASTLY worse without faith or religion. Officially atheist governments murdered tens of millions (think Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot, for starters). I'd take Baptists (in general) over them, any day (as would you, I trust) -- and I'm not even remotely a Christian.
Goddamn that was a calm 911 call. Homeboy didn’t even try to fake the waterworks. Also, it was really fucking suspicious that she was found naked - why the hell would that not red flag the cops?! A woman of her faith, seems like a modest lady, would be hyperaware of her appearance after death and since it seems premeditated (with the typed out note) it wasn’t a drunken accident. She would’ve had to have planned to take her clothes off and thought she’d be found that way. Never would’ve happened. Makes sense that it was a romantic thing and then he killed her.
She was probably just a secret nudist, and we learned from pastor Matt that she was into bondage as well... Probably only for reenacting some religious scenes, of course.

Him saying she was naked when he found her I’m sure was a red flag . A lot of women that commit suicide won’t do it without clothes due to the fact of not wanting to be found in that manner …
I'm sure he did because he used sex and sex pills to drug her. They were effin that night with pills and booze, otc sexual aides but I'm including them here anyway lol
Yah, I didn't quite get all of that. She said he was talking about killing his wife and the ways to do it. She ends up dead, and it didn't even occur to her to maybe go talk to the police after she is found dead.
@@afcaton1 I’m sure she got immunity for her testimony. There’s literally no upside for her in telling this story if it’s a lie. And Mike did say there were emails that back some of it up.

Right?! WTH?! Then she had the nerve to pretend she was disgusted by him, even though she kept sleeping with him after the murder & covered for him! Grotesque, the both of them!
You would think but some pastors are able to convince women it’s part of gods plan to be together and the women are attracted to a person or position of power in the church….as a pastor I would be scared to death to commit all those taboos in a church 😱
I can’t believe that Vanessa is for real trying to cry during her testimony as if she had no idea that he planned to murder his wife and had been telling her the ways he had thought to do it.
Yeah like ok so he's telling you all about how he wants to kill her and all of his ideas so what the hell is she sitting there saying?? So obviously you didn't try to stop him or tell anyone what he planned to do and that to me is just as damn guilty and evil!!!!!!

Yep. Recently I called church’s for messing up my order big time and i felt like such a Karen that my Voice was shaking more than anything in that 911 call.

I thought the same thing untill I got married………no one can hurt you more then you spouse especially if there trying for years. I personally would never but I do see how someone could be brought to it.
Yup, she isn't a victim - the whole thing could have been prevented if she'd reached out to Kari or the police. Matt is obviously a POS but then quite a lot of pastors tend to be unfortunately. That pretend CPR was so unconvincing.
What a pick up line! “I had a vasectomy, I can’t get you pregnant, I don’t have any std’s and my wife is clueless”. And Vanessa says to herself I’ll go for that? 🤢🤮
We all know what caliber of a person Vanessa is. Is anyone surprised that she knew what he was gonna do and didn’t do a damn thing to stop it, nor report him after? If that gross pick-up line worked on her, then I, for one, am not surprised
A damn TYPED LETTER?! Please don’t even try tell me anyone who knew it was typed believed he was innocent for even a second. Especially after the compliment at the end. Psychopath to a T
If someone is suicidal (been there, done that, failed miserably thanks to the police) and if they leave a note it would most likely contain an apology and reasons or motivation for taking their own life. It would not contain thoughts of others, children included. If you're still thinking about your children you're not suicidal xx
No kidding rite, that's what I was thinking. Because she knew after it happened so for her not saying anything wouldn't she be like implicated or something to that sort??
Unfortunately I bet she got nothing. I know she was star witness but she's no different than one criminal rolling over on another. She should have gotten something, anything, 5 years maybe. Its sickening hearing a pastor/priest being part of any murder plot, especially being THE murderer. Hope he rots in prison and his mistress is ousted by the community.
The mistress is completely innocent here. She knew he was planning the murder, he told her after he committed the murder and she broke up with him because they suspected him of murder but never once went to the cops. A real saint, this one here.
I can't stand to listen to the mistress play herself off as a victim or cry when recounting how he killed his wife. She KNEW before and after what was up and didn't say a dang thing. I would have charged her too.
You would have charged her with what? That's not how law works, kiddo. Vanessa is the only reason that Matt is in prison for the murder he committed. The police would have had no evidence without her testimony, and Matt would be walking free. But go ahead and focus on attacking her instead of the murderer.
@@amityislandchum I am not a legal expert but can see that she is guilty as well. While her testimony helped put the husband away her inaction led to the murder. The reason I'm not addressing the husband is because he was served justice while she got away free and clear all while playing the "victim." Maybe I would have charged her with murder 1 too and then cut a deal with her to still get her testimony. Maybe she would have gotten a very reduced sentence or none at all. At least her name would carry a murder 1 charge and her reputation would be as a murderous mistress rather than what she portrayed.
So he said his wife was clueless, intimated that he had cheated on her previously and said he was disgusted with how far his wife had gotten, yet this ridiculous woman thinks “This is the guy for me!”….. the mind boggles.
Wouldn't be the first time. Heck, look how many women try to strike up romances with known murderers. In many churches, there are women who become infatuated with church pastors. They're authority figures and they're allegedly speaking the truth of God. The smarter pastors adopt rules so they are never put in a compromising position around women not their wife. Not that Baker would feel that way. I fully believe he initiated this. He didn't need anyone to help him cheat on his wife.

Yeah, what is up with that? First of all, wouldn't any truly religious person be a. Anti-affair and have turned him down when he hit on her because EW, b. Not like the way he spoke about his wife bc it's not very Christian (plus if he talks about his wife like that, he will talk about you like that!), c. Not be cool with him detailing the murder plans? My guess is that they offered her immunity for her testimony. That’s pretty standard, especially since technically she didn’t _actively_ participate in any way. That said, she’s garbage.
Facts
I agree if she knew ahead of time. I've watched this story on a couple different shows an I believe she was informed after the fact. Not that she's not a disgusting human just for the fact she's banging the married pastor. But I'm not convinced she knew he was gonna kill her. Oh Im sure he said all kinds of hateful things about his wife but don't think she was told I'm gonna kill her ... Thinking she was told after the fact that Ya I did this all for you an our love... Or something along those lines of Bullshit!!
She might have immunity now but wild guess there’s probably a place in hell for her.
I know right! She is probably busy with just another married man now, and will continue to go through the line!

Not to mention how many killers attempt to kill the next lover once they get away with the first. Especially if they know about the first xD.
Even ignoring how trashy she is, imagine sticking with a guy who murders his wife. What do you think he’s gonna do when he tires of you???
Yup. You can see right through her.
And then he confessed to her after the murder and still does nothing?
I thought I must be missing some details here, how is she not in prison rn?
They probably offered her immunity for her testimony against him.

Wonder if he killed the baby..?

@@User31129 firstly the original comment didn’t make any mention of it being a female or male issue 😂
Secondly, although it’s technically true what you’re saying, this wasn’t that case.

Yup, she isn't a victim - the whole thing could have been prevented if she'd reached out to Kari or the police. Matt is obviously a POS but then quite a lot of pastors tend to be unfortunately. That pretend CPR was so unconvincing.
@@I-C-Y-U-N-V Probably took a plea deal.

Me: “Only a few years.”
Mike: “15 long years ago.”

😂 I know right?
Time is a fast moving train that stops for noone.
Frrrr
Right..
I mean I'm only 30 but find it crazy that I work with adults that basically don't even know what 9/11 was like
Me too
What a pick up line! “I had a vasectomy, I can’t get you pregnant, I don’t have any std’s and my wife is clueless”. And Vanessa says to herself I’ll go for that? 🤢🤮
Straight up.
Haha rightttt. Vanessa clearly has super high standards. 🤦🏻♀️😂
We all know what caliber of a person Vanessa is. Is anyone surprised that she knew what he was gonna do and didn’t do a damn thing to stop it, nor report him after? If that gross pick-up line worked on her, then I, for one, am not surprised
THANK YOU for clarifying that most preachers are good honest people and are not like Matt.
A damn TYPED LETTER?! Please don’t even try tell me anyone who knew it was typed believed he was innocent for even a second. Especially after the compliment at the end. Psychopath to a T
A naked victim and a typed letter... the investigators who ruled it a suicide should be ashamed of themselves
If someone is suicidal (been there, done that, failed miserably thanks to the police) and if they leave a note it would most likely contain an apology and reasons or motivation for taking their own life. It would not contain thoughts of others, children included.
If you're still thinking about your children you're not suicidal xx
I hope his mistress caught some form of charges seeing as how she knew of everything 🤨
They never do
Of course not, she was in a "vulnerable state"
I definitely got an accomplice vibe more than a witness vibe..
Whenever I hear "They were a perfect couple" I immediately know it's not gonna end well for the spouse...
“They were the perfect couple, until they weren’t. Let’s give it a goo”
@@amityislandchum
I am not a legal expert but can see that she is guilty as well. While her testimony helped put the husband away her inaction led to the murder.
The reason I'm not addressing the husband is because he was served justice while she got away free and clear all while playing the "victim."
Maybe I would have charged her with murder 1 too and then cut a deal with her to still get her testimony. Maybe she would have gotten a very reduced sentence or none at all. At least her name would carry a murder 1 charge and her reputation would be as a murderous mistress rather than what she portrayed.
I am sure she had a pre-deal to tell everything she knew and to get immunity
Yup. And you can just bet when he would've been done with her, he'd kill her too.
She is an Accessory but no doubt was given an Immunity Deal because he was the bigger fish. Pity. Justice would see her locked up as well.
EXACTLY WHAT IM THINKING. He told her all his plans of killing his wife and she was riding the wave like this was normal. Now he's this big manipulative liar and took advantage of her. What!?
That’s a woman for ya
Yeah, she's lovely.
@@marquesterry3585 He was in the position to manipulate. He was a minister. The cops didn’t question him, his congregation didn’t question him. And his wife didn’t question his shenanigans - she stayed with him.
Theres nothing I enjoy more than an adorable gentlemen telling me a story about blood, gore and murder ❤
Vanessa sounds like she was on-site, very detailed memory for someone getting second-hand stories
Did anyone in hindsight wonder about the baby’s death? Matt “found” her too.
Maybe he had insurance on the baby.
I think because she had a brain tumor, the death was not looked into.
I immediately wondered about that… I’m curious if any other videos covering this case mention how he was with his kids 🤔 Just to give better insight into the likelihood that he would do something like that.
That was my first thought.
Yep. He was the one that found her and she had “stopped breathing”. Definitely think he could’ve killed her too
Mike: "Thinking about adding the ol fingerguns to the intro."
Me: "More life insurance dance."
Same! 🕺🏽 that dance is where it's at! 💯🤣

I literally get that feeling
Haha same I started my pre-work workout and was like "Mike must be about toupload any minute" and it popped up at the top of my feed.
Indeed it is!
👊Right??! ah! had tht same exact thought here! 😉💚
It is so sad how two people can go from being in Love to one wanting to literally kill the other, then actually getting it done.
She has an affair with a married man and listens to the many ways he wants to kill his wife and does nothing!? She did nothing because they probably thought of these ways together, hoping he would get away with it so they could be together. I'm not buying her fake tears and innocent act, she knew his plan from the beginning and she should have some type of charge too.
How could she be attracted to someone who approached her that way, and after he talked about his wife so hideously, not to mention sharing plans to murder her with her. I am just in shock.
Shes a horrible human being, just like him.
K. S Exactly she never said a thing and carried on seeing that monster.
Agreed. Vile.
Totally agree with you. What a complete lowlife she is too. Just as guilty of murder as he was. Watching her testify infuriated me because you can tell how much she was loving the attention.
No matter how bad my day might be, Mike makes it better. I absolutely LOVE his personality and quirky style. His catch phrases are legendary around our house. There's no one like him. Period. He has no equal.
"I've had a vasectomy.... and I have no STDs" - pick up lines have lost a lot of poetry over the years.
It's craigslist material for 🙄🙄🙄

I'm childfree and I'd love it if a man told me he had a vasectomy
Yes he is such a silver tongued devil
Best channel on TH-cam! You’re a heck of a storyteller Mike, thank you for the endless entertainment
He sure talked a lot for someone doing CPR. Wasn't even breathing heavy...
I can only surmise he must have seen that episode of the The Office where they do it and thought the way Kevin did it was the way to go.
I was thinking the same thing. You would think he would be encouraging his wife to come back, saying things like “please don’t leave us” or maybe a prayer…being a minister and all.
@@Ligeia_Ravin You never know what you might say in that situation, but he was pretty calm. Possibly too calm.
@@cade377 I know I wouldn’t be in that situation- pretending to give CPR to my spouse that I just murdered! I’m saying what an innocent person may use his breath to say since every second is precious to revive her. 😐

Man, it's almost like being a super-religious pastor-type person doesn't automatically mean one has an intact moral compass! All of these murder stories kinda shore this up for me. Good job as always.
I think that position tends to attract power hungry and narcissistic people. Just like law enforcement and politics.
And he's leading how many others?
My mother was super religious. She was also the most cruel, bigoted, mean spirited, nasty person you could have the misfortune to meet.
@@blurrypotato4573 Don't generalize. My spiritual father is a great person and helps the poor and is quite a good man. Unfortunately, there are bad folks in the world. Period!
Being a super-religious person does not in any way mean the person is 'good' or 'moral' at all!
He sounded so calm on his 911 call. He's an evil monster.
A stupid, evil, monster. Otherwise he would've at least tried to sound upset.
Nah, just tired of this wife and stuck in a marriage.
@L Train45 I don't think so. He was calm because he was free of her.
@Phuck Mie So, you like a killer and a cheater??
The thing I always think about when it comes to these spousal murders, is when the kids are now left without their mother or father, and have to carry the burden of a tragic family history. Matt Baker is a monster not just for his actions, but also what they resulted in for his children.
*THIS* ☝️
It breaks my heart to think about how they now have to deal with life on their own but also carrying this tragedy. To take a loving mother from her children... just so monstrously selfish I can't even articulate it properly.
Exactly this.
This.
And the eldest daughter had to deal with her sister dying, too.
real crumby
You're hilarious, and you're not trying too hard. I love to watch your videos. Keep me entertained. Thank you!
I've performed CPR, it is the most exhausting thing, emotionally & physically, I've ever done in my life. All your energy is in to trying to save that person. That is your focus & only focus. Your brain just wouldn't go to needing to tell other people about it. That comes later. That guy is such a creep. Good riddance! Poor young lady, may she rest in peace 🙏🏻
He sounded disgusted when attempting to do CPR what a POS
I just commented the same thing but focused on the physical exertion but you're bang on. Mentally that's all you're focused on
Facts. 👍
Interesting. Sounds just like giving birth to me (naturally & unmedicated). Did it twice and that's a pretty exact description.
@@albertschulz5575 I've also given birth & it was a long & difficult/complicated time...... but with that at least it's a positive pain & positive exhaustion......you know you'll have your baby as your outcome. With CPR you have the added emotional exhaustion of desperation & uncertainty. It's a trauma I've yet to recover from 😟
Yeah honey, you weren't a consenting adult in all of this, at all. Vanessa should be held on impeding an investigation, withholding important information, and protecting a criminal. I'm not entirely sure she didn't egg this on either.
She received immunity for her testimony.
This guys a real piece of work. Thank God her parents kept on investigating him even tho the cops would not.
Thank you Mike.
His demeanour on the 911 call was the first and massive red flag for me. If I found a loved one dead, suicide or otherwise I wouldn’t be able to form sentences I don’t think. It doesn’t matter if he’s used to staying calm, he’s just a bit too calm for me
If it was him who found Cassidy too, maybe Kari wasn't his only victim.
I had the exact same thought.
SUE REEVES I read the book about this and it raises the same issue you just brought up. It’s been a long time since I read it, but I believe that though several people questioned his involvement in his baby’s death, he was never accused of any wrong doing and the baby’s cause of death remained as natural causes.
my first thought also. i truly believe he killed the baby
Perhaps, but it is more likely that his daughter died a "natural death"...
My first thought... Boom he killed the baby!!
I never understand how a woman thinks that what a man did to his ex, in this case murder, won’t eventually happen to them.
Exactly !
I cannot count the number of women who were surprised that their man cheated on them when they themselves hooked up with the guy when he had a girlfriend already.
That was an awfully calm 911 call considering he just found his 'beloved' wife dead.
And Vanessa... wtf, man? She's a little Nicole Kessinger.
“I’m doing chest compressions. Really, I’m doing it! Seriously, just pushing away here.”
Exactly!!
That's exactly what I was thinking. Its very telling when you hear/see how people react in the aftermath of things like this. I know people are often in shock and do crazy things that can seem weird but when someone is that calm, surely it's a mahooosiv red flag?
Rip Miss. Such a shame you ever met this POS.
💯
If she had been dead for an hour or more, I can honestly see not bothering, as she didn't take their daughters with her would be my next concern if she really killed herself. After all, there is a change to the eyes once someone has passed that tell you they won't come back no matter home much you want them to...
You seem to forget the nature of Vanessa's predicament. Even if she heard him talk shit about his wife, she didn't necessarily believe that he was going to kill her. Then once she realizes that he did kill her, that if she displeased him she could be next...
Even though the subject matter is so dark, you make me laugh. You are a gem, no one else compares
Nice lady, this mistress. Yikes. She seemed pretty ok with his absolutely disgusting behavior
This reminds me of people who are the partner someone cheats with. When they finally leave the marriage or relationship with them they are happy. Then later they are shocked that they are now being cheated on when they helped the first time.
Maybe she was happy to help the police because things were not going great and she felt like it was her turn now to be murdered.
@forest rin they do, he would cheat on his wife, she didn’t mind a married man. They talked about his ideas to kill his wife. It was like they were on the same wave frequency
You seem to forget the nature of Vanessa's predicament. Even if she heard him talk shit about his wife, she didn't necessarily believe that he was going to kill her. Then once she realizes that he did kill her, that if she displeased him she could be next...
yeah, she was on board or "vulnerable", until she got caught...throw the book at her too.
it's cases like this that truly terrify me.. the people you love the most, can do you the most harm. makes me afraid to get married.. It’s kinda funny how the mistress tells all these bad stories about him hitting on her and yet still had an affair with a married man… then didn’t tell the police they he was planning to kill his wife! she’s just raging she’s not getting a free phone now
I know like all the sudden she found Jesus ? Her testimony sounds vindictive?
Yeah, what is up with that? First of all, wouldn't any truly religious person be a. Anti-affair and have turned him down when he hit on her because EW, b. Not like the way he spoke about his wife bc it's not very Christian (plus if he talks about his wife like that, he will talk about you like that!), c. Not be cool with him detailing the murder plans? Like, again, I don't think a basic thinking person would think that was "godly behavior," let alone a religious one. This is not a pastor or cult leader having sway over an innocent brainwashed mind. This is basic common sense and gross behavior that could never be justified. He broke at least 4 commandments right there. Idk there were so many red flags here that everything she says makes no sense and is just a pathetic justification for her own behavior. There are no redeeming or attractive qualities to such a man, and the fact that she "fell" for this is truly pathetic.
@@marielehleitner3643 Yeah, those two aren't really religious. They're fucking monsters using religion as a shield to hide their disgusting actions.
