Their was a guy on another channel claiming the 10 speed in the Camaro was a product of the Ford company..? His big claim was ford always builds their stuff first and then GM steals the Ideas ! As much as the vehicle owners rag on each other, the camaro wouldnt exist without the mustang, and the mustang wouldnt exist without the camaro. They're both wonderful machines and the competition, in my opinion, has kept these 2 companies relevant since the beginning and to this day. I'm a chevy guy in a mustang and I appreciate what Chevy and Ford both have accomplished. Obviously, GM and Ford do too because camaros and mustangs continue whooping on mopars to this day with cheap mods lol. No reason to hate, lets enjoy our gas burners while we got em.

2650 would be nicer for cruising and more daily trips, max effort lt4 blower will heat soak quicker, is what I’ve heard & read numerous times. No personal experience yet. Have seen races of 2650 cars barely pulling up to on max lt4 blowers, where the lt4 pulled bottom end more
I was worried on the 2650 being to much blower for a stock 5.3 DI. I am going to build a 6.2 for it down the road but wanted the 5.3 to last on 6-8psi. Maybe the Maggie kit will be the way to go.
Mid 8’s? 😂😂 a lot closer to 7’s on an oem 1.7L blower. Also we have CTS-Vs doing 9.5 with bolt ons. There is a BIG difference from going 9.5s and deep 8s.
@@LateModelPerformance I wonder what the potential could be for an ATSV with a LT4, if your guys race weight is 3690, that’s basically an ATSV with backseats out. Some people get them down to 3300 full gut. Only problem is I don’t think a 10 speed would fit and you’d be stuck with a 8L
No carbon doors? If you add the front liners back and cut a hole and add fender vent youll reduce drag. Lot more in this setup. Lighter driver. Take more weight out of the car. Still heavy at 3710 with driver.

There is nothing wrong with a 2650, we have plenty of 2650 builds. However pushing the limits of a stock 1.7 blower is how innovation occurs. It's how you learn to develop and make parts to squeeze every last HP out of a car. Everyone thinks you need a 2650 to go fast, we are out here proving that isn't the case.

You are worrying entirely too much and wasting energy when you check and compare every run. Unless there is a major temp swing in ambient the power difference so small that it is irrelevant. Please do not take this as offensive but the driver needs to loose some weight. As he said he is 235. If he went to 180-200 he would feel better as well as get the combo into the mid 36 range. I went from right at 250 to 190-200 range and I feel and perform better now. B

I wanted a 2650 for a 14-18 sliverado 1500 but I might have to just go all LT4 blower and fuel system now.
2650 is easier you can make 750 on 93 with a mild setup👌👌
