My theory is, you may be right about Leonard passing away. Before he passed Penny might’ve given birth to baby girl. Since he passed, she might’ve struggled or not wanted to raise the child by herself so Sheldon and Amy might’ve adopted her. Bernadette has a nickname that only Howard uses - Bernie. Maybe they had it scripted of Leonard moving away. Remember that one episode of TBBT where Penny imagined that time where Leonard was doing all this romantic stuff for her? When he was just sitting on the couch playing video games in his pants? It could just be possibly that maybe when Penny and Leonard announced that a Penny was pregnant on the finale of TBBT, apparently that had to leave to a spin off. So maybe, Leonard thought that he wanted children, but then he became like a useless father to them (Kinda like how Howard was really unresponsible in TBBT with his PS4) maybe that happened or he happened to be addicted to something so not long after a year of their parent hood, Leonard and Penny probably got a divorce. This is totally bullshit. There's the episode where Penny cared for the Howards' son because the two parents were forced into bed. If the events of this story had been brought up in later episodes, only Penny would have been mentioned, not Leonard, who was not there. And quite often people name children after living people (relatives, friends). In addition, old Sheldon mentioned Leonard several times during the narration throughout the seasons, and never once implied that he is dead.
This seems like a stretch, my BIL and Nephew both have the same name and as a kid we used a nickname for the kid but now as a teenager we call them both by the same name.

I think you're reaching a lot. I tend to think that by the days in the 'present', Sheldon would have been more inclined to name his son after his friend (who is is very close to despite his antics). It's not a problem to have two people with the same name, happens more often than the people who made this video think. And I think Sheldon is only mildly griping about Penny putting what he sees as weird ideas in his kid's head. I think Leonard is alive and well, and still good friends with Sheldon at this point.

I don't understand why everyone just jumps to the conclusion that Leonard is Dead just cause they didn't mention him at the end of the last episode of the series!!!! Anyone else have better theory's than Leonard is dead??? And what do you think about my theory?
No it doesn't!! Just because Penny was mentioned and Leonard was not means nothing. Penny was mentioned because she was an actress and he was disappointed his daughter wanted to go the same route. There was absolutely no need to mention Leonard's name since it wasn't anything to do with the conversation

Maybe they had it scripted of Leonard moving away. Remember that one episode of TBBT where Penny imagined that time where Leonard was doing all this romantic stuff for her? When he was just sitting on the couch playing video games in his pants? It could just be possibly that maybe when Penny and Leonard announced that a Penny was pregnant on the finale of TBBT, apparently that had to leave to a spin off. So maybe, Leonard thought that he wanted children, but then he became like a useless father to them (Kinda like how Howard was really unresponsible in TBBT with his PS4) maybe that happened or he happened to be addicted to something so not long after a year of their parent hood, Leonard and Penny probably got a divorce. Seems like a possibility but I could be wrong.
This is totally bullshit. There's the episode where Penny cared for the Howards' son because the two parents were forced into bed. If the events of this story had been brought up in later episodes, only Penny would have been mentioned, not Leonard, who was not there. And quite often people name children after living people (relatives, friends). In addition, old Sheldon mentioned Leonard several times during the narration throughout the seasons, and never once implied that he is dead.

You missed the whole point of Sheldon if you think he will mentioned Leonard just due feelings, on the contrary the fact that he didn't mention him means that he doesn't deserve a significant space. Meaning, nothing has changed that requires additional social effort from his side.

I think you're reaching a lot. I tend to think that by the days in the 'present', Sheldon would have been more inclined to name his son after his friend (who is is very close to despite his antics). It's not a problem to have two people with the same name, happens more often than the people who made this video think. And I think Sheldon is only mildly griping about Penny putting what he sees as weird ideas in his kid's head. I think Leonard is alive and well, and still good friends with Sheldon at this point.
Not mentioning Leonard by name means nothing. Traditionally women do the babysitting, especially if they are married, and Amy mentions acting, Penny is the only acting storyline in TBBT, she is married to Leonard. If you wanted to go that route, Amy also does not mention Penny's child, does that mean that Penny's child is also dead? Amy also does not mention Raj, Bernadette, Howard, Stewart or any other member of the original cast, so what happened to them? You have a very morbid bent to you, get over it.

Penny might have babysat Amy and Sheldon's daughter because Leonard might have been out of town, it might also be practical that Penny babysat as a play date between her child and Amy's Daughter, etc. because nothing has been specifically mentioned that Leonard is dead then he is likely still alive and still with Penny.

Penny was an aspiring actress before getting into sales and becoming a mom. She even had the acting itch after becoming a salesperson. So, it's not any stretch to use her name and omit Leonard's name when referencing babysitting. It wouldn't make sense to add Leonard to that comment.
Furthermore, if they were trying to honor Leonard Nimoy and/or Leonard Hoffstedter (like TBBT actually told us), it makes total sense for Sheldon and Amy to use Leonard as opposed to any shortened form, especially for the obsessive-compulsive Sheldon, who can't sit anywhere that is not "his spot", must knock 3 times in a series of 3, and numerous other idiosyncrasies.
