Tried a scope, but mine does not have a 90° camera. All that debris you see for a quick second in the combustion change has compacted flat against the head. Thanks for watching!
I think there's more than one type of patina look. Your bus tells a story. The yellow flames on the passenger door, auto logo's on the tailgate, part yellow, and part turkis - that works for me and makes this bus a lot of fun to look at.

If you saw a 70’ single cab in pristine condition at Terryville Fairgrounds, I found it for the owner, Larry, in South Carolina. Between us, we have 5 single cabs……. Um Just Sayin, we do like those trucks. I mostly watch your channel preferred.

If the engine seller watches your channel, he should get in touch with you, and send you a refund. It's the right thing to do.
What is that piece in front of the carb? Never seen that. I love my 1500 SP in my early 68.
Some kind of emissions related equipment, I believe.
No one should pay more than $50 for a non running engine. Unless it has good bolt-on used parts on it.
