the fact there's a low budget streaming service which is like 50-90% werewolf fic movies is extremely funny to me, because it comes off like someone with the cashflow to start a streaming service saw the popularity of werewolves in fiction, and specifically omegaverse, and saw it as a market to be cornered, entirely forgetting that when you film these stories instead of write them, it requires a halfway decent special effects budget. They just as easily could have filled the app entirely with vampire romances instead and saved a decent chunk of money in sfx, but the sweet sweet cashflow from omegaverse fans watching an ad between every minute-long episode was just too great to ignore. This is a story of hubris, not just of being fated to my forbidden alpha

I work on a bunch of these. It's upending the industry. We film like 20 pages a day on average. The days are grueling, but we do it for the money. It's also very hard not to laugh during takes, so some goofier scenes take a while because of that.
Despite how nonsensical the and almost random the movie plot was, Ted's special reveal at the end of the video was still somehow the biggest plot twist of them all

@@KillerRabbit.mp3 9/11 caused a lot of domino effects, especially in movies because you can take it even further. 50 shades was a Twilight fanfic movie, which lead them to make After (a Harry Styles fanfic movie), and then all those other movies based on Harry Styles fanfics, which lead to all the alpha type movies after everyone saw how well movies based around harry styles fanfic were doing (because a lot of Harry Styles fanfics were omegaverse fics or werewolf fics)

8:37 …So I’m pretty sure a lot of this alpha, omega, in heat stuff they use in these shows come from the omegaverse, which is a usually a society where getting together with any gender is acceptable, and males can get pregnant (if omega). So basically everyone goes through heat at some point, whether you’re a man, woman, alpha, or omega. They might not have m/m relationships in here but they are pulling concepts from the omegaverse, hence why I think this applies. Otherwise, yea you right realistically.

I work on a bunch of these. It's upending the industry. We film like 20 pages a day on average. The days are grueling, but we do it for the money. It's also very hard not to laugh during takes, so some goofier scenes take a while because of that.
