Cordless Circular Saw Restoration Makita 4190D， replacement of 21700 battery cells

The interior of the Makita 4190D Kitty Hawk saw was severely corroded by water, and the motor was stuck by rust.
The metal parts are sandblasted to remove rust, repainted or blackened with blackening liquid to prevent rust.
Fixed broken shell
The battery was partially disassembled and replaced with three strings of 21700 cells.
Eventually full functionality was restored.
The metal parts of early Makita tools were relatively weak in rigidity, so when disassembling them, attention should be paid to protecting the gears and spindles.

An ancient relic, to be sure!I have 3 of them, with the water bottle attachment, for use with a diamond blade. I'm a master glass fabricator from way back, and these are the best tool for certain jobs. I figure I'll be able to keep one running with parts from the other 2 for a while yet. Still rockin the ancient batteries, too!

Мне вот кажется что все это постанова,ну да пилка старая годов так 05-10 если не старше,но она не работала щетки целые износа наиколлекторе вообще нет,зато ржи и всякого гов..ща в нути навалом,как буть то ее спецом в раствор соли или еще чего на недельеку положили чтобы сильнее поржавела...
